Estelle’s place is a little slice of farm heaven. Magical for a family getaway. Beautiful gardens, and friendly service, and lots of farm animal interactions made for a peaceful and fun loving family holiday. This is a place for those looking to escape to wide open spaces, and switch off. While still being close enough to the little town of Greyton to enjoy some low key shopping, and characterful restaurants.

Very nicely settled on a working farm - the daytime view is amazing and sunset is always great when mountain ranges are involved. The apartment (which is bigger than some houses in the U.K.) had everything you needed for a long or a short stay and the braai wood was exceptionally dry (which makes catering for a family of 5 a breeze). Swimming pool warm by Ceres standards and fairly large, with some shade from the 40 degree heat we had upon our arrival. As it’s self-catering, get your provisions before check-in, because once you’re there, you don’t really want to leave again. All in all a great place and it is child-friendly (i.e. not much stuff for a bunch of boys to get stuck into when things get quiet). Thank you for the stay.

Beautiful location and great hospitality. This place comes as advertised if you are looking for a relaxing stay in an area where there is plenty to do. While we didn't need much during our stay, Carin was available to help with anything needed and her place is gorgeous! Would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a place just outside Franschoek!

We had a lovely stay on the farm. Great location near Swellendam and fantastic views. Lots to do on the farm with swimming, hiking, tennis and game watching and lots to do in surrounding area. We loved the game drive and Michael’s knowledge of the area and animals. Michael was a fantastic host and we will definitely visit again.

Wow, such an incredible stay, the place is in jaw droopingly beautiful area. the views are incredible. The home was very very neat, Sonja is super friendly and helpful. Just such a great stay... we will be back for sure.

We enjoyed the peace and lovely surrounds. Our dog enjoyed the farm dogs. Easy drive to the beautiful Keurboomstrand beach and then into plett for supplies. Vincent was most efficient, helpful and cheerful. Thanks Adri for your generosity.

Pollie was a great host and met us at the gate to guide us in. The cottage is in a peaceful private reserve with beautiful mountain views and roaming wildlife—perfect for a nature escape. It's cozy inside, but the outdoor space is where we spent most of our time. Just 15 minutes from Tulbagh and the wine farms. Highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful place of rest. Tranquila space hosted by wonderful Zelma. We had so much space, yet Zelma was readily available to tend it our every need — including extra firewood for more hot tub time! Won’t hesitate to come back for a break in the beautiful Karoo. Easy recommendation.

Queen's place is the best place I have been to thus far, Queen and her husband are very friendly and welcoming, my mom and I felt at home the moment we arrived until the last day, for anyone who likes nature and peace, Queen's place is the right place to be. I will definitely book again when I visit Polokwane.

Clive is such a gem of a host, and was more than accommodating. He gave us ideas to do on Saturday to get out, we went to see his wedding venue on the property which was amazing. And he made us an amazing supper on Saturday night, and the breakfasts were just as delicious. We are definitely going to use Clive's place again.

Lovely outdoor experiences from vegetable garden, through the VinYard’s, up to the dam, table Mountain View while chilling at the dam platform! The game animals were a bonus… lots of space to roam and lots of space in the house for 2 couples! Kitchen was well set up and we enjoyed dinners at home! Perfect for a 5 night stay. We also enjoyed the wine tasting at Remhoogte. Highly recommend for a Vinyard stay.

Lucia’s cottage is a dream! Such an idyllic setting within the vineyard and the cottage itself is really spacious, comfortable and well-designed. We spent a week here and felt right at home! Lucia was a gracious host who let us check in early and check out late, and was super helpful and responsive in anything we needed throughout the week. Highly recommend, would absolutely love to come back and stay again!

This home is the most comfortable and homely we have stayed in, in Dullstroom. It’s perfectly located in the estate, peaceful surrounds, tastefully decorated and all comforts are catered for. Thank you so much Tanya for your warmth and generosity.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Cabin! It’s the perfect little getaway—so cute, with a stunning view, and it had absolutely everything you could possibly need. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and beautifully set up. We enjoyed the nearby 2km walk to the bird viewing point and there was also a hike right there—such a bonus for nature lovers. The hot tub was amazing, and the pool was a great spot to cool off and relax. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and made everything feel easy and welcoming. And then there was Shanty—the sweetest cat ever! She came when called, loved affection, and honestly behaved more like a dog. I completely fell in love—she almost came home with me! Highly recommend this peaceful and charming spot. Can’t wait to return!

What an absolutely amazing place, so peaceful and really beautiful surroundings, close to activities in Swellendam but away from the crowds. The perfect getaway with family. Lena was an absolute star.

Highly recommended for any group be it families with or without kids! We were a group of 4 adults and three kids (1,4,6) and had an amazing team in the house. I'd even say the pictures dont to justice to it, as the view which ranges from Capetown over the ocean and then to vinyards and the mountains is absolutely stunning. The pool was a nice refreshments and it nicely heats up throughout the day (water is heated via tubes on the roof). The kitchen has literally everything in terms of utensils etc. Bedrooms: 2/3 bedrooms can be darkened, one will always be bright in the morning. The Masterbedroom with large bathroom and walk-in dressing room/wardrobe was absolutely amazing Host: super flexible, Blaise even organised a baby chair and bed for the little one (didnt have one before but reacted quickly to our ask); Willie as the "on-site-host" is always super helpful and flexible. We had an aircon-issue one day and he instantly took care of it; always reachable on w-app/call

Amazing stay! Host went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. Beautiful amenities and wonderfully decorated place. Spacious and fully stocked. Also had help whenever needed. Right on a winery so you can imagine how amazing the scenery is. Definitely plan to stay again and can’t wait to be back.

Het logeren in summerview farmhouse was een droom! Prachtig uitzicht op een geweldige locatie. Midden tussen de macademiabomen op de plantage, aan de Sabie-rivier. Het huis was van alle gemakken voorzien. Heerlijk luxe en zeer comfortabel. Vanaf het terras zo het riante zwembad in. Geweldige service en zeer vriendelijk personeel. We hadden topdagen!!
