We stayed here for 4 days and walked to the bamboo Forrest every day. It was a 10 minute walk from the train station which was convenient for traveling to other sites around Kyoto. We would stay here again.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Hitoshi and Kei’s place. We found Cozy House to be extremely comfortable and well located for some excellent restaurants and quick transport links into and around Kyoto. Cozy House was super clean with plenty of thoughtful amenities, such as welcome snacks, coffee, water, toiletries and laundry detergent. The house has a traditional Japanese bathroom and the shower, in particular, was exceptional! Hitoshi’s communication was extremely good both before and during our stay, being quick to respond to questions and made a helpful suggestion on where to see the Sakura late in this season. I would highly recommend Cozy House to anyone looking for a quiet and convenient home during their visit to Kyoto!

Haruka's apartment is situated very near Saiin-Station (5min walk) and its restaurants in a quite street. There is a supermarket 4min walk in the other direction. It is big with 2 bedrooms, a great bathroom, a washing-machine and everything you can need to cook in the tiny kitchen as well as spices, oil, tea, coffee... There are also brochures about Kyoto's attractions and a very interesting book about Japan's history. The best part of our stay at Haruka's House was to meet the owners (they live upstairs), who welcomed us as we arrived with many informations, japanese tea, fruits an sweats. As we left, the had looked for the train-connexions to our next destination and gave us nice advices as well as crackers for the trip. It was so nice, we felt at home from the first minute and we enjoyed so much their company. We even had the chance to borrow their bicycles to tour around Kyoto. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! We definitely hope to come back!!!

Very warm and helpful household (luggage room option). Good location (quiet and few minutes to Kyoto Station). Rooms very clean, spacious and cosy; beds very comfortable. Everything as described. I highly recommend it!

The place is nice and clean, it is in a quiet neighbourhood. Host is extremely responsive too, it is a team working, so there will be someone to attend to your message whenever. The house is walkable to 2 stations (Umeikoji-Kyotonishi and Nishioji), though I would recommend Umeikoji-Kyotonishi station especially if you have luggage with you. There are convenience store, Starbucks and a park upon coming out from the station, so it’s great for some quick pick up at the end of the day while you’re heading back to the house. The railway museum is also right by the station. Both stations are 1 stop away from Kyoto station, I really liked that because it is easily accessible and at the same time away from all the busy hustle at Kyoto.

Wonderful location. Close to a lot of markets. Easy to get around Kyoto since it's Close to multiple lines, and a bus stop. House was really clean and spacious!

This apartment was conveniently located and very close to train station, 7/11 and great restaurants. Tattoo friendly onsen near by as well. Easy to walk and quiet neighborhood. Our host was responsive and very helpful. He offered us great food suggestions and kindly checked in on us. The apartment was small but clean and what we expected from the listing. Nice cozy space we had a good time :).

Instructions are great, the place is still a little hard to find. But oh so worthwhile. It's a great part of town. Close to interesting things. Quiet. Well connected. We loved having space and room to live. It was warm, clean, and well appointed. Really appreciated having a washing machine. Drying upstairs worked well. Even in the middle of winter. The hosts are really responsive and helpful. This place is a solid base for exploring kyoto and osaka. Thank you.

Ms. Nishi provided exceptional hospitality, proactive, friendly, and helpful service; she and her team efficiently resolved a matter that arose. The house's convenient proximity to the train station and bus stops, within a local traditional neighborhood. The well-maintained traditional Japanese house offers guests an authentic cultural experience. It is highly recommended.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Bitte beachtet, dass es nur ein großer Raum ist, so wie auf den Fotos zusehen. Man ist super schnell in Kyoto oder Osaka, wenn man beide Städte sehen möchte ist es ein super Kompromiss. Die Gastgeberin ist super hilfsbereit und antwortet sehr schnell.

One of the best experience in Kyoto. I stayed at Lan’s place for two nights, it was quite and comfortable, there are several coin parking lots nearby so it is very easy to park. Lan was very kind to us, he even brought some drink and he was always willing to help. Anyways, I strongly recommend this place to everyone who’s willing to travel and stay at Kyoto.

This accommodation is huge over 3 levels with an internal elevator. It also has an internal spiral staircase but it is extremely tight and wouldn’t be recommended for small children. The ground floor is a kitchen dinner, floors 2 and 3 are bedrooms each with 2 beds and a bathroom. The host was very accommodating and responsive, the location is in a smaller area and directly opposite the local train station which is super convenient, recommended particularly for 2x couples or if you stay with older children and or grandparents

Beautiful place within walking distance to JR and Subway station very convenient to get to places via public transport. The house was very clean and very beautiful. The house also has many good features makes it a good home away from home. We really enjoyed our stay.

Mulan’s accommodation was perfect — we were happy to sleep on the tatami mats with our children. The place is very clean and welcoming. It was cold in the morning when we woke up, but we were warm and cozy under the thick comforters during the night. The bathroom is quite basic but very practical. The water is nice and hot, with great pressure. Communication with the host was very easy. They kindly drove us to the Golden Pavilion and then to the Silver Pavilion. They were very accommodating and helpful. They also dropped us off at the station so we could catch our train from Kyoto Station. The location is about 20 minutes by subway from Kyoto, and we enjoyed staying in such a peaceful residential neighborhood. There’s a FamilyMart on the street and a little place where we had some delicious pastries!

Inari Home is a beautiful space that is minutes away from the metro station that brings you to Gion within 15 minutes. Giotto keeps it immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. She has been responsive and was flexible to allow us to drop off our luggage before check in. Thank you for the wonderful stay! 🙏🏻

Modern and fresh apartment. All the amenities that you need. Loved the recliner chairs to relax. Great kitchen with everything you need to cook for yourself. Large and easy to use bathroom with washing machine. Great outside area including hot tub. You’re right next to a bamboo forest. So very peaceful. Walkable to Fushimi Inari Shrine and 1000 red Torii if you are able bodied. Naoko responded to every request quickly and happily. Loved the treats for breakfast. Thanks Naoko.

Uzu ist ein sehr angenehmer und zuvorkommender Mensch. Sie hat uns viele gute Tipps und Empfehlungen gegeben. Zudem ist die Unterkunft perfekt, wenn man im traditionellen Japan schwelgen möchte. Der Aufenthalt war super angenehm und war ein großes Highlight auf unserer Reise. Das Kimono-Fotoshooting mit Uzu war eine wirklich einzigartige Erfahrung. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

The place was walkable distance to Kyoto station and in a quiet neighbourhood. The host offered us snacks and complimentary Tea and dropped our luggage at the station which was very kind. The house is big with 4 bedrooms, 2 baths and 2 toilets and an outdoor balcony for washing and drying clothes. Overall had a fantastic stay
