Beautiful home located a short walk from Mitake Station off the JR Ome Line, with easy access to the bus that goes to the Takimoto cable car station (for hiking Mount Mitake). There's a beautiful riverfront area that can be walked between Mitake and Sawai Stations. Most local restaurants close early (by 5 pm on average) and there are no grocery stores or convenience stores nearby, so best to come prepared with food and snacks.

We had a great stay! Clean and nice place! I do feel the price is a little high for the size and location between the road and the train tracks which cause a lot of noise.

We stayed for 3 nights at Omean and it was very pleasant. The house is very clean and bright, and has everything that we need. The futon is very comfy and we had very good sleep. We also had the pleasure to meet Kumi the host and the interior designer of the house for a coffee, which was really cool. She has nicely blended in Japanese traditional and western design. Ome is a quiet nice town which is exactly what we were looking for. Even though the town is small, you can find good food and coffee(though the restaurants tend to close early so make sure to check), the bakery close to the station is our favorite. Within 20 minutes train ride, you can reach Mount Mitake station, where we saw the end of sakuras blossoming which was really beautiful. And the nature of Okutama is amazing, Ome is a perfect spot to explore around. Thank you for providing us a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the nature :)

Our stay here was brief but very comfortable and cozy, especially once the log burner was going! The location is convenient - just a few mins walk from the station, there’s a 711 and supermarket close by and has good access to local hiking trails. We look forward to returning in green season as it’s within walking distance of the Akigawa river, one of our favourite places to swim in the summer! Will come again.

My partner and I used the house as a base to explore the Mitake / Okutama area. It's easy to walk to both Sawai and Mitake train stations, and from there you can take trains to anywhere in the valley. The house is right next to the river so it has a very peaceful atmosphere and you're surrounded by nature.

滞在前から案内が丁寧でした。お家もとても綺麗で、いい思い出になりました。 BBQ設備が揃っているのが有難いです。間接照明やプロジェクターがあるので外で映画館をしながらBBQができます。また利用させていただきたいです。

大人10人、子ども9人で利用させて頂きました！子どもたちは広々した敷地で近くに川もあり、思う存分楽しめてました！大人も自然豊かでリラックスさせて頂きました！大人数でしたが、対応も丁寧で今まで利用させて頂いた施設の中でもお気に入りの一つとなりました。また機会利用させて頂きたいと思います！

Thank you, Masahiro, for everything you did for me up until the very last day. I highly recommend this place. it's fantastic. The host is the best. I recommend the cafe downstairs. it's very good you will not regret it. the location is awesome, the train station is a minute or so walk from the air b&b. There is also a bento store nearby, a seven eleven next to it. the staff there has some serious pacience, I felt like I drove them insane though. but it's a great place for you and your friends to stay the night or for a weekend trip. This is what I thought about my one month stay. later, Masahiro, I will drop in again soon. Happy holidays to you.

Close to a station on the Ōme line, can be a great place to explore the Western part of Tokyo prefecture but still you can also relatively quickly get into the Metropolitan area, I found this a convenient location for my activities. The house is a bit on the older side but well kept and clean, with spacious bathroom, I thought it had a special charme. The owner is helpful and strives to help and answer any questions that might come up.
