Barn Stay at Shadowbrook Farm

Welcome to the Shadowbrook Farm Stay. Tucked in the hills of upstate New York, this 1700's Shaker barn has been restored into a beautiful guest house. It sits upon a two hundred acre working pasture raised meat farm. This barn was used to hold, and milk cows for two hundred and fifty years. Guests will have access to portions of the farm lands which are highlighted on the maps provided in the Farm Stay manual. If you follow the farm road, you are able to meet every farm animal on the property!

It's surrounded on three sides by 35 acres of a forever wild nature preserve which is part of the New York State’s “5 Rivers”. You can hike, cross country ski or snow shoe right out the back door or just sit quietly and enjoy your favorite book along side nature.... and only 2 miles from the Albany border.

Adjacent to the lounge, is a stylish and fully equipped kitchen with new stainless steel appliances. Both bedrooms have new queen beds, beautiful natural woodwork and overlook a private and quiet courtyard.

Located in the heart of Delmar, within walking distance to restaurants, and bars, 0.3 mile to Stram Center for Integrative Medicine, about eight minutes drive to Downtown Albany, seven minutes of the Interstate 87 exit, and twenty minutes from the Albany airport.

Explore all the activities the Hudson Valley has to offer and then relax in a room full of windows overlooking the Hudson River. Make a meal in the full kitchen or hang out by the beach, build a fire, play lawn games, read a book or float in the river. For you early risers, the sunrises are spectacular. This 1860 river house is 1/2 mile from the charming Village of Coxsackie NY and a central location to many great destinations such as Hudson, Woodstock, Athens, and Catskill.
