What a beautiful place to spend a few days. The house is lovely, spacious and comfortable and the view is amazing. The sun was shining so we were able to sit outside and take in the surroundings. The road leading to the house is a little bumpy and steep, but well worth it. The hosts were friendly and quick to respond with answers to questions. The welcome pack provided lots of useful information and it was a lovely surprise to see a basket of goodies waiting for us when we arrived. I would highly recommend this beautiful home.

Just back from a beautiful weekend at the Pavillion. The place was amazing, with fantastic views, very peaceful. The sauna and outdoor pool added to the experience. Ruth greeted us on arrival and was happy to show us around. Ruth supplies all the information needed for the stay well in advance and was available over the weekend if we needed anything (we didn't)

WOW! This is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in! If you’re staying in Glastonbury but want a peaceful place to stay (which is ten mins from the walk to the Tor) just book it ! The house is absolutely stunning but we spent most of the time in the garden which is out of this world and very private. The hot tub was a huge bonus after a trip into town to relax away from the crowds – Sophie has made her home so welcoming & its perfect for a group. The beds are so comfy and all you can hear is birdsong each morning – its is so gorgeous and tranquil. The location couldn’t have been better – we went into town to eat (Queen of Cups is fab) one night but stayed ‘home’ for the rest of the time. Chalice Well & White Springs also within walking distance (down dirt track). Celebrated my 50th here and from start to finish it was the perfect weekend. Thanks so much Sophie. A delightful overnight stay with my daughters and niece. A lovely home in which we chilled and relaxed after a busy day out and about. We loved the house had a real ‘feel’ about it, lots of personal touches, their home felt like ours for a night. Also loved the ‘environmental / sustainable’ cleaning products/loo rolls etc Very convenient for our needs and we hope to come back again. Spotlessly clean and tidy. Thank you Annika

A beautiful house in a lovely, quiet location. Very spacious and has everything you could possibly need. The garden is amazing. It’s the perfect place for a family or friends get together. We went to The Crown in the village for a meal (3 min drive or 15 min walk), it’s a beautiful pub. Rosanna is an excellent host. We would thoroughly recommended Narracott House.

The property has beautiful views over the lake and we could see loads of different water birds. The view was even better than the photos suggested. The property was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped and has an excellent coffee machine. This would be perfect for an extended family group or 2 families sharing. There was lots of storage and places for shoes and coats. The onsite restaurant Balihoo was excellent especially if you are coeliac. There was also a pizza shack that my kids said was great. Clare was a proactive host and the property is run by Orion holidays who sent plenty of communication and information. We will definitely visit again.

Carole is a super superhost. 125 is so much larger than we expected, comfy beds, powerful shower, more than fully equipped kitchen, the garden is beautiful and all the extra thoughtfull touches, very much appreciated and made our stay even better than we expected. Cosy, characterful place to stay with super and welcoming host hospitality in an ideal location for us to enjoy adventuring out for some lovely walks and close to all the amenities of Chepstow. Highly recommended!

Jane was an excellent host and responded to my enquiries before booking and whilst we were there. The apartment is bright and airy with a perfect balcony where you can watch the sun go down whilst listening to the birds. The spa on site is great, outdoor pool is a little fresh! You need to book a slot in advance in busy periods but Jane will send you all the details you need. We had a really relaxing stay and would stay again.

Peaceful location and clean, cosy accommodation. Ideal for our purpose which was researching properties in Chepstow. There is no kitchen so be prepared to travel to eat and the location is off the beaten track so use the what3words reference for accurate sat nav especially in the dark.

We had a lovely break away, the accommodation had everything we wanted and as described. It was easy and quick to walk into Bath centre while being in a very quiet street. Would recommend.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay in the flat. It was so relaxing and easy going and there was so much to keep two boys and two dogs occupied when we weren’t out walking. There’s a really nice walk down to the river from the house and it’s a short distance from many other hiking sites. The kids loved the trampoline, skate park, and tree net and our city dogs enjoyed meeting all the farm animals and resident dogs. We felt so much at home there and no one was ready to leave!

Great stay in a beautiful location with many amenities included in the room. Peaceful and basic, but everything you would need. We would only recommend something to deter the Wasps as the room is located near to the Oak tree but this would be the only minor thing!

WOW.....Outlook Lodge has got to be one of the best UK holidays we've been to: * the photos don't do it justice in the layout, quality of furniture/beds/bedding. The attention to detail is amazing. *the view from the Lodge is just spectacular, breath taking. *Debbie is an extremely friendly, approachable person, nothings to much trouble. Her pre-arrival info is awesome. Lots of recommendations ref pubs for dining, places to go, dog walks, cycle tracks. *Hot tub is lovely & hot, watching the stars over the Mendips is fabulous. *The Lodge has all mod cons. Streaming TV, full WiFi, beds are just so comfy, central heating makes the Lodge snug & warm, full range of kitchen utensils (if you want to cook). *Can't not mention the gorgeous small herd of Alpacas, who are sometimes in the field next to Lodge, they will come and say hi to you 😍 If you want a relaxing tranquil quiet/peaceful break then we can't recommend Debbie's place enough. We will definitely be back very soon 😘 🤩👍xxx

Myself and my boyfriend had a brilliant time staying in the Swan Pod. We had only booked for 3 nights but I definitely didn’t want to go home. It was easy to find and even easier to check in which is what I was hoping for. The lake is beautiful and the animals were just a bonus, I would definitely recommend if you want a nice, peaceful getaway for a few days.

Sarah’s place exceeded all expectations. It was absolutely stunning, clean, and incredibly peaceful. It was like a mini retreat for us. Would highly recommend.

We spent a fabulous Easter bank holiday weekend at Katie’s place and absolutely loved it. The cabin itself is excellently designed in terms of layout, so whilst compact it had pretty much everything we needed and the four of us (incl our two university age ‘big kids’) didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. We absolutely loved the hot tub and made the most of it (sorry Katie if we got through a lot of logs!). Thoroughly recommend the walk through the really atmospheric woods (via the footpath that leads from the bottom of the garden) to Penallt Old Church and the further on down the hill to The Boat Inn for some serious cider tasting. In brief - great cabin, beautiful and peaceful surroundings and lovely hosts. Thoroughly recommended!!

Well just returned from a weekend in this beautiful pod. What I needed was a weekend to relax with no noise around me. Booking was super easy, checkin was simple, James responded to messages so quickly and allowed us to take our Golden Retriever with us. The setup and views are stunning. There’s a pub not even 10 minutes walk from the site. Absolute stunning Venue and setting. Will for sure be returning. If you’re looking for a quiet break with stunning views I would definitely look at booking here. Not even 15 minutes from the M5. Thanks both and best of luck.

Wonderful stay. Sam was very responsive and accommodating. Cabin was warm and cosy with lots to do locally. We were a bit apprehensive about the outdoor shower in the final week of October, but it was a great experience! Thank you.

We had a fantastic stay at Ruby’s Retreat and were very grateful that we were moved to one of the huts overlooking beautiful views! The hut contained everything you need for your stay - it was spotlessly clean & cosy with a comfortable bed. There was an amazing variety of wildlife - birds, hawks & foxes! We very much enjoyed the display of pipistrelle bats against the sky at dusk, and a spot of star gazing from the hut tub! Nothing was too much trouble for Andrew & he even found us a replacement TV remote when we realised our one had gone missing! We highly recommend a stay at Ruby’s Retreat, for anyone needing to switch off, unwind and reconnect with nature!
