Quinta Kakelbont is one of the most relaxed places I’ve ever been to. The place is located on a huge place of land with 4 really relaxed dogs, 2 super cute pigs and so many fruit trees, where you can pick fresh oranges. It’s super calm and beautiful. The house is very cozy, the bed is comfy and there’s a kitchen with all the appliances. Sjoukje and Carlos are great hosts, we can definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking for a relaxed stay.

Alles hat sehr gut geklappt, flexibler eigenständiger Check-in und Check-out! Die Kommunikation mit der Agentur war sehr gut, die Mitarbeiter*innen waren sehr höflich und haben das W LAN Problem kurzfristig persönlich gelöst! Die Lage war ruhig, der kleine Garten mit dem Minipool sehr schön und ausreichend. Einziger Punkt, der verbesserungsfähig wäre: Es gibt im Schlafzimmer nur eine kleine Ablagefläche für einen Koffer und eine kleine Minikleiderstange. Ansonsten war alles vorhanden. Danke noch mal für die Flexibilität beim Check-out!

Logement original dans un endroit paisible, dans une petite ville calme. L'endroit est plutôt bien pour visiter l'Algarve si vous avez la voiture. La petite maison comprend le lit, la douche et salle de bain sont à part. Joli cadre avec flamands roses derrière le logement. Belle expérience à vivre lors du beau temps (il a malheureusement plu un peu lors de notre séjour et c'est desuite plus compliqué de profiter de l'endroit). L'hôte s'est montré très disponible lors de notre arrivée tardive.

Super nette Eltern, die in dieser Zeit auch im „Nachbarshaus“ waren. Sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und liebevoll. Wir haben das sehr genossen, dass sie auch noch eine zeitlang dort waren. War schön. Toll auch, dass von der Unterkunft so viel zu Fuss erreichbar war. Auch der grosszügige Umschwung, den wir bei Sonnenschein nutzten zum Frühstücken und erholen. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und fühlten uns sehr willkommen. Vielen lieben Dank für diese schöne Zeit!

Wat een prachtige plek om te verblijven! De mooiste bnb ooit. Het uitzicht op Portimao, de prachtige tuin, heerlijk appartement in stijl en zet vriendelijke host. Kortom 'we'll be back'!

Wir würden uns jederzeit wieder sehr gerne bei Samantha einquartieren. Eine natürliche Umgebung, ein friedvolles plätzchen Erde. Unbedingt empfehlenswert sind auch Samantha´s Kochkünste !!! Eigenverpflegung ist genauso möglich. Es gibt Möglichkeiten sich mit anderen Gästen zu treffen, ebenso problemlos ist die Ruhe in und um den eigenen Unterkunftsbereich. Die Atlantikküste ist keine 8 km entfernt und auch im Landesinneren gibt es jede Menge Unternehmungsmöglichkeiten. Kurzum - sehr empfehlenswert!!!

I booked this Airbnb for my best friend’s 23rd birthday, and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The location was amazing, the beds were super comfortable, and we felt totally safe the entire time. Everything was spotless and beautifully kept. I let Christina know it was my friend’s birthday, and she went above and beyond—she surprised us with a cake and candles, which made the celebration even more special. Just a heads-up for future guests: there’s an additional fee for extra guests, even if there are multiple beds—so make sure to double-check the listing details. Overall, I’d absolutely recommend this place to anyone, and I’d love to stay here again!

Wir hatten eine wirklich schöne Zeit in Arrifana. Wir haben uns sehr wohl im Haus gefühlt. Die Aussicht ist auch gigantisch. Wir würden wir das Haus jedem weiterempfehlen!! :-) Danke auch nochmal an Fernando, der sich gut um uns gekümmert hat.

A place where your soul finds rest. Pachawa is no ordinary place - it is a small oasis in the middle of nature, where you are immediately embraced by peace, simplicity and genuine hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. Marcus is an exceptional host: friendly, approachable and committed. You sense that he has built this place with love, together with the fine volunteers who stay there. His son surprised us with delicious, freshly baked pizza - a little party in itself. Everything about this place invites you to slow down, enjoy the moment, and recharge yourself. We only had two nights, but it felt like much more. Thank you for everything, Marcus. We will come back!

We really enjoyed our stay here. the apartment offers everything two people need and is the perfect starting point in the middle of everything in the western part of the Algarve. The sun terras offers a great view as well! One tip: ventilate the house enough and use the dehumidifiers that are included. the humidity has trouble finding its way outside of the house! we really recommend staying here! we had an unforgettable time.

Sehr schöne kleine Unterkunft am Rande von Burgau. Der Ortskern ist zu Fuß in 20 Minuten zu erreichen. sehr nette Gastgeber mit sehr lieben Hunden. Guter Ausgangspunkt um die Algarve zu entdecken.

The cabin was absolutely gorgeous! We had such a relaxing stay :) So cool to see how everything was up-cycled! Judith and Jerry are amazing hosts and gave us so many wonderful recommendations in the area! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful stay ☀️ (and super cute dogs on the property :))

Such a wonderful space—truly a hidden gem in a beautiful natural setting. It felt incredibly calming and peaceful. Max was super helpful and very responsive throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend!

This place is simply lovely :-) It‘s really cozy, with an eye for detail, it got everything one needs - as well as being inspiring on how to make one’s house more sustainable. Diana also was so nice, giving me a lift , sharing some veggies from her garden, being around for a little chat. And yeah it is truly off grid, but one day I had a really nice hike to Barão de São João, so for nature and calmness it was ideal. Thank you!

Wat een pareltje is deze plek! Wij hebben intens genoten van het prachtige uitzicht van de rust en sereniteit. De comfort van het huisje en de heerlijke veranda. In het echt wat ons betreft nog mooier dan op de foto’s te zien is. Katrin is een ontzettend lieve hartelijke vrouw die voor je klaarstaat als dat nodig is. Goed bereikbaar en benaderbaar. Wij komen zeker weten hier terug. Voor ons was deze ervaring een dikke vette 10!

Wir waren erneut in einem Häuschen von Cristina und Timo. Es ist einfach wunderschön dort. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet, die Terrasse ein Traum (auch bei Regen ;)) und am Badesee kann man Stunden verbringen! Timo und Cristina sind so herzlich, man fühlt sich sehr willkommen, wie zu Hause! Danke für die wunderbaren Tage bei Euch!

Super friendly welcome, great garden and pool area. We stayed at the windmill, which has a unique atmosphere, but not much space for luggage. There is a little annexe with a table, perfect for a candle light dinner.

We hebben een hele fijne week gehad bij João. De tiny house was knus, schoon en lag op een perfecte locatie. Alle restaurants en de zee zijn op loopafstand. Dus locatie is perfect. Bij aankomst stond een fles wijn en een volle fruitmand klaar, echt een warm welkom. Dank je wel João Groetjes Chris en Cora

We loved our stay in Salema. The location was fantastic - we loved that it was right off of a great hiking trail and an easy walk to the beach and local restaurants and bars. Charming, convenient and comfortable stay!

ce sont des gens très très accueillant comme on en rencontre plus. ils nous ont offert des tomates de leur jardin et ont toujours étaient disponible.

Leuk verblijf op zeer rustige locatie. Hetty en Patrick zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het hoogtepunt is de sauna en het bijhorende uitzicht.

We loved our stay! The cabin you sleep in is super cute, at the end of September a little cold so pack a jacket maybe. The atmosphere of the garden is amazing, everything super cute and chill. For cleaning the plates you have to get water in a bowl because in the outside kitchen is no running water, but you can get it in a minute from the bathroom, which was also super cute and clean. We totally recommend staying here :)
