Julie sent us the cottage address and more information well in advance of our arrival. She was friendly and even though she lives close by we couldn't see her house and she gave us total privacy. The hot tub was so amazing and secluded. The house was warm and clean. Very quiet location. We will definitely visit again! Thank you Julie!

Nature lovers paradise!! We are bird nerds and nature lovers, so this location was perfection. Very quiet location. Super private. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well both nights. The kitchen functioned beautifully and the entire house was extremely clean. There was kindeling in the fire place all set up for us to use and everthing we needed to add to the fire. Suitable lighting throughout and lovely art work in each room. Tastefully styled home. Comfortable with high end (heated floors in the bathroom). The hot tub was 10 out of 10, just like everything else! We really hope we are able to stay here again. Holly & Shaun

What a great little cabin to spend a cozy weekend! Waking up to such beautiful views of the lake it's just something else. We loved the hot tub overlooking the lake while it snowed. The fireplace by the bay window it's just so cozy. Charlotte let us stay a little longer because we arrived late, she was really kind and thoughtful! Highly recommended to escape the hustle of the city for a few days and disconnect!

This was such a phenomenal place to stay. The access to the river was lovely, and the entire house had so many great touches and details. The kitchen is very well stocked, beds and pillows so so comfortable. Location was fantastic and close to everything you need. I will definitely be back to stay here again !

We had an awesome stay at Dawn's cabin! The place is really quiet and private. Even if the place doesn't have electricity and water everything you need is there such as water bottles, snacks, kitchen supplies, BBQ with gaz, wood, pans, candles and chargeable lights, blankets etc. Also we were there to celebrate my birthday and Dawn was really thoughtful by placing some cupcakes for our arrival. Self check-in was also really smooth and well indicated. I totally recommend you to book there. It was such a good weekend to reload our batteries away from the city. Thank you!

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights while we took care of some business in the area. The cabin is off the beaten path and has a cozy feel. We would definitely stay here again!

We had an excellent stay in the A-Frame. It is peaceful, cosy, thoughtfully-appointed and incredibly well-laid out. Rachel is very friendly, helpful, and responsive.

My stay at Rena and Monica's was wonderful. The location is idyllic and the cabin is so cozy, I feel rejuvenated after my weekend there. I brought my dog who went wild exploring the trails and sniffing all the new scents, and though we got a lot of rest during our stay, he was exhausted when we made it home. The instructions were clear and easy to follow for check-in and check-out. The cabin had everything we needed to feel at home and once the wood stove got up to temperature, it was perfectly warm and comfortable. It was really nice to just shut everything off for a few days and read, listen to music, or just look out the window with my pup. Thank you for your hospitality and for sharing this special place!

From the very beginning amber and Darcy’s communication was 10/10, she was so thorough that any questions we had were immediately answered and even at the location there were onsite notes for anything to make use that much easier. The location was scenic and so peaceful. It really felt like we were tucked away for the ultimate relaxation. They had everything you need and more to enjoy their cabin to the fullest. Whether you are outdoorsy or not there were plenty of indoor and outdoor activities provided. The neatness and cleanliness made this rustic cabin genuinely so easy to enjoy. Not all hosts provide things you might forget or entertainment but they certainly did. Everyone had their own personal space for the girls trip and the outhouse was so clean it made for a very practical vacation. We are already planning our next trip back! Who thought a winter getaway could be so successful, the weather was amazing and couldn’t have asked for better hosts. Thank you again!

Great place lots of room for big families to enjoy

Beautiful property. So much to do in the area. We were overwhelmed by Dwayne and Susan and by their property. The house is the best equipped home away from home that we have ever experienced. They were so accommodating and gracious. We highly recommend to anybody. If you see it available, book immediately!

This is a great cottage! The kitchen is big and beautiful and very well equipped, beds are very comfortable, great decks and docks giving many places to find a quiet spot. The water was lovely - no weeds. There are terrific overhead fans that eliminated the need for air conditioning. There were 10 of us - 6 adults and 4 kids and there was plenty of room for all. Rich was a fantastic host, answering questions before, checking in part way through, and helping to get our things to the island and back.

We had a lovely stay! we enjoying hanging out on the dock and saying hi to all the animals. the kitchen had everything we needed as well.

I was a bit anxious, as this was our first AirBnB trip as well as an anniversary trip for us. Fortunately, Rob was incredibly responsive with communication even before we arrived. And once we got to the cabin, any remaining concerns disappeared. It was very clean and well staged on our arrival. The furniture was comfortable, the wifi was fast, the water cooler cold, and it seemed like Rob had thought of everything a guest was likely to slap their head and say "I forgot the..." The quiet and privacy is as advertised, or really, better. The cabin is surrounded by woods and at night you can literally for miles. The listing says pet friendly, and that's an understatement. Food dishes, pet beds, and even a box of toys await on arrival. And we really appreciated being in a secluded enough location that our constantly on alert--and loud--dog could be himself. My only concern is every other rental we make through the site will be a disappointment after the Hyde Away.

As advertised- rustic! Well worn but clean. Of course there were bugs (no, not bedbugs) because you’re in an area with a healthy and vibrant ecosystem. You should probably expect that. Don’t leave the door open and lights on. There was always a nice cool breeze coming in from the lake that kept the mosquitos away. Not for everyone but very similar to what you’ll find if you keep going into Canada and rent a remote cabin. Very beautiful surroundings and the area is peaceful and quiet. Stunning sunrises and sunsets as well as good fishing and birdwatching right from the marina shore. Nice natural swimming area as well- the water felt great. Viola was very responsive to my questions and I saw her walking around and working hard the whole time we were there. Very pet and family friendly as well, we enjoyed relaxing there for a couple days.

This is a fantastic property. If you are looking for a secluded cabin with modern touches & amenities, look no further. The cabin is perched on a small knoll overlooking scenic Grass Lake, giving it what might be the most scenic view of the whole lake! Clean, comfortable and inviting. This cabin is recently built, has a ton of character, and is well cared for. Tony was very accommodating at check-in and check-out. As this place is "off the grid", it does require that you understand how to use a generator and gas lights....not that difficult, but worth knowing up front. Tony will show you how to manage. If my crew gets back to the 1000 Islands Area, we'll be disappointed if we can't again spend time at Forever Wild Camp.

Another great visit at Randy’s cabin! Looking forward to staying again next year.

This Airbnb is just like the photos. Cozy quaint and cute. The 70s retro bathroom brings you back into time. It was a lot of fun and worth the stay.
