This place was just what I was looking for. Quiet place to relax, good place to hike and fitness center and courts. Cabin was just as advertised cozy and well kept. Everything you need for a weekend stay.

Jeffrey & Leisa’s guest suite was just the relaxing getaway that we needed! Our dog loved their property and was fascinated watching their chickens, geese, ducks, and turkey (at a distance of course!). The suite was private with a layout that made the space feel large. We appreciate that they were able to accommodate our last-minute booking and very promptly help us with a question that came up. Highly recommend for your next getaway to wild, wonderful WV!

Great view, comfortable and clean apartment, easy access to hiking trails, very responsive hosts! Nearest grocery or restaurant is atleast 15-20 minutes drive, so I would recommend carrying some food with you, especially for breakfast. I think Uber Eats delivers but the options are limited.

Lovely space, we loved the loft and the sauna especially! Very cozy and unique stay!

Joe's place is a haven for nature lovers. The log house has everything you could need. Beautifully furnished with extra attention to details. The grounds include a wooded area, a stream, a pond and some cattle pastures. Joe lighted the fire pit for us, which was awesome. A truely magical place.

Our stay at The Cedar was magical. We spent two nights and loved everything about it. Highly recommend grilling up dinner and enjoying a sunset over the river. The bed is very comfortable and the record player is a really nice touch. Loved the Trading Post, which was a short walk away and had snacks, drinks, souvenirs, and other essentials available 24/7. Jeff and Sam seem to have thought of everything we needed for our stay and more. We’ll definitely be back!!

I absolutely loved our stay at this adorable Airbnb cottage just two blocks from the heart of Shepherdstown. The location is perfect—an easy stroll to great coffee shops, restaurants, and the historic charm of downtown. The cottage itself is cozy, next to a small stream, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Quiet, comfortable, and full of character, it’s the perfect blend of convenience and charm. Highly recommend for a weekend retreat or peaceful work-from-home escape!

My stay here was amazing! Was looking for a quiet spot on the water to unplug for a couple of days and I have no complaints!! Will definitely be coming back soon.

We had an incredible stay. For those without a car: we hiked from the Harpers Ferry train station to the cabin and took a scenic hike up the Maryland Heights trail in the morning. The cabin was cozy and a pleasure to stay in! We cooked dinner and breakfast and they had everything necessary including oil, spices, cooking utensils, and dishes. We also enjoyed some hot chocolate provided in the cabin! It was inviting, warm, and beautiful.

Wonderfully peaceful weekend in Steve’s cozy, well kept cabin. We completely relaxed. Steve was responsive, flexible and helpful.

We spent two nights in this remote and beautiful cabin. The host was very proactive also in finding the location and making sure we know how to use the hot tub, the sauna, the barbecue, etc.. The cabin has everything as described, and is truly a sanctuary to disconnect and distress . It is remotely situated in the middle of the woods . We brought all of our food so we didn’t need to go grocery shopping during our short time. One less positive experience was that one of the neighbors down the trail who seems to live there permanently did not enjoy seeing as use the access road. He used quite foul language and made us uneasy. Despite this hiccup, we had a very good time !

This is a magical little cabin in a beautiful area! Equal parts peaceful and romantic. Other cabins and owners’ home are on site, but at a good enough distance that we felt we had plenty of privacy. The hosts were responsive to troubleshoot some uncertainty about designated parking when we arrived after dark. The outdoor seating on the porch and in the green space outside the cabin were nice. The gas fireplace inside was cute and cozy too. It was very clean and well furnished. They make great use of the smaller space. Not a lot of storage for clothes and luggage but it was fine. The bed and pillows were comfy. I saw some other reviews that mentioned the sulphuric odor of the water, so I wasn’t surprised. It’s definitely different than what I’m used to, but understanding that the water in the area has different mineral content explains it. We were in the area to visit hot springs after all! I would recommend this little gem and would stay again!

Beautiful little cabin is in a lovely location. Perfect for a romantic weekend away from the city. Joseph provided lots of detailed helpful information and the cabin was just wonderful.

This is the perfect get away. We booked the cabin for two nights, and ended up staying another night because we did not want to leave! It was beautiful, peaceful, cabin was super clean, and staff are really friendly. Our dog had an amazing time, also. It is also a great place for hiking and the pool is awesome!! 100% recommended. We will be back!!!
