It was a great place for us to stay at! We are a family of 7, 4 adults and 3 children and it was big enough to accommodate all of us! The place was clean and well maintained, having the washer and dryer was a plus! It was close enough to all the tourist location, but far enough where we didn’t have to deal with the loud night life! Location was great, it was walkable to get to many places!

The location is in a quiet neighborhood a short walk from the Keihan line, which runs up and down the city and will take you all the way to Osaka if needed. If you like walking, you can get to Kawaramachi and Kyoto Station and beyond. The room was spacious, spotless, and well-furnished, equipped with everything I needed and more. The coffee table and entryway were stocked with a number of travel pamphlets. The building itself is charming in a very '80s way, but the elevator is smooth and quiet. Last but certainly not least, Sumi is a true superhost, bringing much-needed Kyoto hospitality to Airbnb accommodations. She was ready to help with anything related to my trip, even things I hadn't though of yet.

The place was amazing and they were very responsive hosts! We forgot an important medication from our previous hotel and they were very helpful and arranging a next day shipment! Really nice and we were in such a beautiful location!

We just loved staying at Sumi's place, it was nice and cosy. Everything tidy, we'll organized and with instructions in English so it was perfect for us who don't speak Japanese. She was attentive and took care of us all the time. It's well located and it's close to almost all touristic areas. We felt like home and recommend it 100% ❤️

Sumi a été une hôte formidable. Elle nous a donné des instructions claires pour se rendre, nous attendait dehors à notre arrivée et était disponible si nous avions des questions. Le logement est spacieux, bien équipé et correspond aux photos. À quelques minutes de marche de plusieurs temples et de restaurants. Je recommande ce logement dans hésiter!

Guys, just get this place !! If you’re afraid of the bright lighting, it does not look like that at all 😂 it dims, I promise ! The wooden bath was so amazing, we didn’t even end up using the outside one. Place was honestly huge for the price too! The bedroom was also extremely comfy. Beautiful riverside and gardens nearby. Seriously, get this airbnb and you will be happy with your stay 👍 trust me

Very clean and nice place with lots of space and comfortability. Very much enjoyed my stay.

This place was perfect for my family! We were nervous initially because it was on a higher floor but there was a small elevator that fit three adults and two small umbrella strollers. Just barely but we made it in one elevator to. The tatami beds were so comfortable and perfect for our two toddlers! The amenities provided were so thoughtful, the slippers, washing machine, paper towels and hand towels in the kitchen were lovely to have! The bathtub was beautiful!!! Such a quiet and beautiful oasis in Kyoto. Spending the mornings sipping coffee on the balcony, was definitely a highlight to our time in Kyoto. In addition, it was easy access to public transportation but also a short (and beautiful stroll) to various points of interest in town. I adjusted the timing of our Kyoto visit to accommodate this reservation, and I am so happy that I did.

It was our first time visiting Kyoto and this place with conveniently located to good restaurants and train station. The place was comfortable and clean. It comfortably accommodated 6 people. The host was great and responded quickly. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Kyoto and need a private and quiet place to rest. Neighborhood was peaceful and safe too. I would stay here again.

This was the most spacious and comfortable Airbnb I’ve been to in my 3 trip to Japan. Enough room for everyone and very accommodating as well. Lots of wonderful restaurants just a few block away. The pictures don’t do justice to how beautiful this stay is would recommend to anyone who’s visiting Kyoto.

Had a great time, very clean and quiet location. I didn’t expect the stairs to be so steep, but that was my ignorance! If mobility is an issue this isn’t the place for you but otherwise ticked all the boxes. The shower is big for Japanese standards which was great!

Beautiful clean room, super comfortable and spacious especially for Japan standards. Bus stops (5 min walk) near by and train station (15 mins walk). Was also able to do laundry for free. 10/10 spot would recommend and go back.

Logement agréable et fonctionnel pour 4 personnes. Bien lire les instructions avant de venir : tout est bien expliqué, nous avons trouvé facilement.

Absolutely gorgeous place with very welcoming hosts. We had a great time and we were served delicious dinner and breakfast after we took a bike ride around the neighborhood to see the gorgeous local temples and vistas

J’ai passé un très bons moments pendant mes séjours, c’était vraiment inoubliable. Le logement est neuf et très propre avec toute la sécurité, les linges de lit sont propres et confortables, la cuisine est bien équipée . Et surtout, Haruka San et Takaida San sont très aimables et accueillants, avec bon coeur. J’ai hésité avant de visiter Kyoto toute seule, mais quand j’ai logé à Haruka house, je me suis sentie comme chez moi. Grand Merci à Haruka San et Takaida San pour faire un logement propre, confortable et sécurisé. Je vais y retourner la prochaine fois quand je visiterai Kyoto.
