We loved staying here during our 8 night in Tokyo. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Hosts were easy to speak to and provided us with great information for checking in/out. We had no issues at all and would recommend this accommodation.

What a great stay!!! We stayed at Jun’s place for five nights while in Kyoto and LOVED it. Jun is a wonderful host and very responsive . His place is very large and comfortable with a sitting room, a kitchen, a beautiful bathroom, and loft upstairs. We were right close to Higashiyama Gingaju and the philosophers walk and easy walking to many of the other temples. Bus and taxi service is close by. The area, close to Kyoto university feels like it’s next to a park. Just wonderful.

Worth every yen

The location is in a quiet neighborhood a short walk from the Keihan line, which runs up and down the city and will take you all the way to Osaka if needed. If you like walking, you can get to Kawaramachi and Kyoto Station and beyond. The room was spacious, spotless, and well-furnished, equipped with everything I needed and more. The coffee table and entryway were stocked with a number of travel pamphlets. The building itself is charming in a very '80s way, but the elevator is smooth and quiet. Last but certainly not least, Sumi is a true superhost, bringing much-needed Kyoto hospitality to Airbnb accommodations. She was ready to help with anything related to my trip, even things I hadn't though of yet.

We just loved staying at Sumi's place, it was nice and cosy. Everything tidy, we'll organized and with instructions in English so it was perfect for us who don't speak Japanese. She was attentive and took care of us all the time. It's well located and it's close to almost all touristic areas. We felt like home and recommend it 100% ❤️

Le logement est spacieux, bien équipé et correspond aux photos. À quelques minutes de marche de plusieurs temples et de restaurants. Je recommande ce logement dans hésiter!

Ken was an absolutely fantastic host — from the moment we booked, he provided super detailed instructions and was incredibly responsive to any questions we had, both before and during our stay. His communication made everything so easy and stress-free. The apartment itself is in an unbeatable location, right in the middle of a lively tourist area with tons of great food, drinks, and convenient transportation options just steps away. It was the perfect home base for exploring Kyoto. Staying at Ken’s place gave us a real feel for modern Japanese apartment living — a unique and authentic experience that we really appreciated. If you’re looking to experience what it’s like to live like a local in Japan, this is a great choice. That said, if you’re looking for a 5-star hotel or a traditional ryokan, this may not be the right fit — but for us, it was exactly what we were hoping for. I stayed at Hoshino’s for a night and was warmly welcomed by him. He showed me everything clearly and efficiently and made sure I felt right at home. Lovely location as well for some nice walks!

Great, quiet place. In the center of many tourist attractions. Yasuyuki is very friendly, always smiling and speaking different languages including English. Very easy to do loundry cost just 500 yen, and ready after few hours. Highly recommended!!!

This is an excellent place to stay with a comfortable bed and thoughtful furnishings. Sumi is an excellent host who provides so much useful information and is always willing to help. She even dropped me at Kyoto station after I checked out. I loved the view from the window and the fact that this place is in a quiet neighbourhood but close by to many amenities and restaurants. Perfect host and stay.

Excellent location and very easy to get to places. Like many places in Japan, spaces are smaller, however we really loved the deep wardrobe/ cupboard. We were able to hang clothes, stack all our bags on a shelf and roll our suitcases straight in. Host was very helpful and gave us great information on current events. Would recommend.

Je remercie énormément KA House ! Nous sommes arrivés très en avance de notre voyage de Osaka et ils ont préparé la chambre en avance. Il y a tous ce qu'il faut en terme de couverts, produit douche et tout ce qui concerne la cuisine. La gentillesse de ceux qui gère l'établissement se ressent énormément par message. Ils sont là en cas de besoins et répondent assez rapidement. Je vous conseille vivement d'y prendre quelques, c'est confortable et typique. Merci encore KA House pour ce moment inoubliable !

May was really kind and gave a lot of recommendations that she had typed out and left in the room for us! The location is great, less than a 5 min walk to the markets and has a ton of shops/restaurants. The room was also spacious, similar size to a hotel room as well as the bathroom. Would definitely book again

This place is close to everything you want to do in Kyoto including using the trains and bus. Restaurant below was a favorite. We also found Eggs and Things which we loved for 9:00 breakfast.

Lovely place to stay - clean, big, and very well equipped!

Nicely designed building. Room is tight but cozy. Toilet has heater which is extremely useful in winter. Need to walk a fair distance to the closest train stations.

This accommodation is perfectly located, walking distance from Kyoto station. plenty of food and drinks in the area. plenty of space in the apartment for a little family.
