Amazing mountain and lake views from every window. 50' of direct water access with small sandy beach, outdoor firepit and grill, and multiple hang out spots. The cottage is newly built and furnished, has an indoor fireplace, central AC, fully stocked kitchen, and screened in room overlooking the lake. There are 2 kayaks available for use. We love the change from hotter summers in Maryland. Our kids and cousins were free to discover for themselves the forest and streams around us in absolute safety. Sometimes we have roaring bonfires under brilliant starry skies after night dips in the lake. The best clay tennis courts in the East are just 2 miles down the road in Silver Bay . The people here start conversations with total strangers and step forth from pages of Andy of Mayberry and the Great Gatsby...we love being with them.
