We had a lovely time. Our hosts were very friendly, provided breakfast and we had some lovely conversations with them. They also helped us find somewhere to eat in the evening. I felt very relaxed and comfortable there. We would definitely go back there again.

Our stay in the hut was a perfect peaceful getaway from the city. Annie has thought of everything and keeps the place in spotless condition. The hut is so cosy and the garden is serene. The area is beautiful, and has everything you need. Annie gave us some great recommendations for walks and places to visit in the local area. She's an exceptionally welcoming host and really makes the whole experience special. Thanks again!

saubere Unterkunft und ein freundlicher Empfang auch der Hofhund kam uns schwanzwedelnd entgegen. Ein schmackhaftes englisches Frühstück krönte das Ganze. Als Unterkunft zur Erkundung der Gegend durchaus zu empfehlen. Im örtlichen inn sollte reserviert werden

Smallish bedroom in a very cute old cottage. Good for a short stay of couple of days or so. Modernized kitchen and spacious bathroom with power shower. Olivia was very helpful, friendly, and flexible with checking/out, and offered suggestions on local activities. The dog Ted was friendly and very hyper, but stayed out of the bedroom. Excellent breakfast with range of cereals, toast and homemade jam, tea, coffee for a good start to the day. Very central location in Frome. (Listing says both shared and private bathroom in different paces, but it really is private). Good value, and highly recommended.

Jessica and Paul are marvelous! Quite friendly and attentive. We had good conversations and the always had left prepared our breakfast before we got down to it. The location and the city’s scape view from the bedroom is breathtaking. We strictly recommend them.

Helen was very welcoming and friendly. House was clean and free from clutter. She cleared a shelf in the fridge for me. I was on a swimming training course nearby, so didn’t need to use the bath or shower, so can’t comment on that.

Third stay at 8 Owls and it reslly is a perfect place to stay centrally located. Very useful shared spaces like the kitchen and veranda. We had a couple questions and hosts were so responsive and extremey helpful to us. Vrry cute extra touches around the place. Very beautiful accomodation. 😍 would stay again in a heart beat 💓

Mike and Celia are two friendly interesting people. They welcomed me into their home and everything is available to use. I highly recommend a stay here.

Michelle and Trevor’s place is truly a home from home! We were given the warmest of welcomes on arrival, complemented with tea, coffee and a chat. The bed is extremely comfortable, the room is spacious and the adjacent, modern bathroom has both a shower and a bath. It was like arriving at an oasis after our long drive. Their tasty breakfast ensures an excellent start for your next day. Michelle and Trevor are both very helpful and hospitable, and their home is warm and welcoming.

I stayed a whole week in Judith's beautiful home and felt so comfortable. Judith is a very friendly and welcoming host, and I felt completely relaxed (which I haven't always when staying in a host's house with them). I was busy every day and Judith's place was a calm retreat in the evening. The double bedroom was immaculately clean and very comfortable, and all the amenities were spotless. The house is in a quiet estate on the edge of town rather than central Glastonbury so there's a 10-15 minute walk in and out - for me this was ideal as it meant I could step out of the intensity and busyness of town, but I was grateful for my car a couple of times, as I had to dash back and forth quite a bit, carrying lots of things with me! Importantly, Judith's place is only a short walk to some of the most beautiful parts of the area - the Chalice Well Gardens, White Spring and the Tor. Had some great chats with Judith and loved gorgeous Milo the dog. Highly recommend for a quiet break!

Geraldine and John were amazing hosts. I only stayed one night but if I could I’d stay another week. Their suite is the coziest place I have ever been. Loved the back story of their home and they have made it into the most charming place to stay. As someone who leads a very busy home life, it was great to just check out of life for the day and enjoy the quiet and idyllic setting. Not to mention the bed was so very comfortable and I had the best nights sleep I’ve had in a very long time. I cannot wait to come back some time and explore the area more or just take lots of naps and relax. Thank you so much John and Geraldine!

Andy's information prior to arrival was accurate and excellent. He was courteous and welcoming. His home is immaculately clean and comfortable. I would describe my stay as luxurious. I appreciated breakfast being provided and would thoroughly recommend staying at Andy and Linda's home which they share with a beautiful (and beautifully behaved) cat.

Lovely house and wonderful big room, only stayed for one night as it was work trip but was super comfy, had everything I needed and beautiful interiors. Sandra and family made me feel very comfortable and welcome. Would definitely recommend!

Die Unterkunft bei Zandra war traumhaft! Alles ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Außerdem hat Zandra einen zauberhaften Garten der nur dazu einlädt zu lesen oder die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Das Frühstück war fabelhaft, mit Apfelsaft vom Hof 😊 und Zandra selbst ist eine sehr aufmerksame Gastgeberin, bei der ich mich bestens aufgehoben gefühlt hab. Danke Zandra!

Abi was an extremely communicative host, and offered me an early check-in since I would be getting into town early. I particularly enjoyed the proximity to walking trails as well as the ability to walk in to town. I love walking, but the hills as Abi mentioned can be quite a trek if you are not accustomed to traveling on foot. Thanks again, Abi!

I have stayed at Lyn's place on a good number of occasions now, and they are creating a very special environment, where their guests are treated more as family. The rooms are comfortable and warm. It is a shared bathroom but they make the effort to stagger it's use through communication between the guests. Breakfast is great, and the welcome is very friendly.

I felt at home and very welcome in Claire's home. The view from the garden is wonderful and the house is situated in a quiet location and within walking distance to all nearby sites. The space was clean and Claire was available to meet my needs. Hope to be back soon :)

We loved staying at Sally’s place. It was so peaceful that as soon as I arrived I had a beautiful nap! Such gorgeous surrounding and our room was beautiful. Sally was so friendly and helpful :-) Definitely recommend staying here if you want a quiet place to rest your head. Wedmore is a such a quaint village which lovely little shops and so easy to get everywhere. It’s a great place to stay if you want to explore the surrounding areas of Glastonbury and Wells.

I thoroughly enjoyed the last few days spent with John and Kathy. They are a very warm welcoming, very sociable and friendly couple and made me feel right at home the moment I arrived. The facilities were immaculate, extremely comfortable and had everything you needed and more. I've stayed at many Airbnb's recently and I've never had such a good breakfast as I did at John's - very healthy and filling and so much appreciated. Returning at the end of a day was like coming home, especially the fish pie supper on my last evening there. I had a wonderful time. John and Kathy are super hosts, thoughtful and kind. I would have no hesitation in either recommending them or staying there again.

We have just had the most blissfully relaxing 5 days at Little Bothy. Great communication throughout, not too much or too little. It was so easy to find, but with Claire’s extra info it meant the journey wasn’t stressful, worrying if we’d find it in the dark, on a wet evening. Our welcome was delightful, again beautifully balanced, not too much or too little. A fantastic folder of helpful tips for the house and the town. Little Bothy is gorgeously decorated and maintained with the cutest heirlooms. It felt so calm, cozy, spacious, clean, relaxing and has every single thing you could possibly need. Claire has thought of everything! The welcome basket was such a thoughtful treat and we were left to come and go as we pleased as if it were our own home. The peaceful surroundings with nothing but bird song, greenery, sheep and their gorgeous boy dozy made for a very relaxing, restorative 5 days. All 3 of us can’t wait to return for a special bit of heaven. Thank you Claire and Stewart xx

We decided to take a very last min trip away, as we have recently moved and are expecting baby number 2 in a week or so, so needed a breather. Martin was on hand for check-in. He was lovely and showed us our room, checked if we needed anything else, and told us a few places to eat. The room was lovely, well kept, spotless and perfect for our short stay. Coffee, tea and biccies were in hand, which are always welcome. The shower was brilliant, great pressure and lovely and hot. Breakfast too was lovely, piping hot and fresh. Nothing was too much trouble for Martin and he was chatty, friendly and welcoming. We would very much reccomed a stay here and thank our lovely host for accommodating us.

A great place to stay and very convenient for visiting bath. A lovely bedroom, very tastefully furnished with good facilities. The host is very helpful and thoughtful with everything provided you might need. A delightful stay.
