We were a group of 8 adults who wanted to visit Montreal which was about an hour drive. We all slept comfortably. The place itself is down the end of the road and secluded so it's quiet and peaceful. The road are a bit bumpy but otherwise to navigate. You need to bring your own pillow cases and bed comforters, etc. which was okay because Karine provided clear instructions and communicated throughout the process which we appreciated. It was a nice stay which we would recommend and do again. Maybe next time we can enjoy the jacuzzi, BBQ grill, or swimming pool.

This home gave us (6 adults) a magical week. Got some good work outs on the hills as part of the charm. Attractions and restaurants were easy to get to. Every direction was a nice walk past interesting houses. Our week had every type of winter and the house was a perfect rest area. Host John made it easy and simple to check in and out!

This place is wonderful! The minute we walked in the door we felt right at home. We stayed during February and took advantage of the snowy conditions in the area. After playing outdoors, we were able to come "home" and get warm and cozy. Joanne has done a beautiful job decorating. It has everything you need for cooking if you prefer that to eating out. It's also close to all the fun activities. We loved it and are hoping to stay again this summer.

Joe’s Cabin was a perfect space for our family! Long driveway was perfect for sledding with our 3 year old, we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere yet so close to the main street in lake placid. Skiing was great and not a far drive from whiteface either. Amazing views out of the living room windows of the mountains in the distance. Snowed every day we were there and there was a snowplow that always made his way down the road and driveway. Joe was a great host and very accommodating. Loved being able to bring our dog with us as well!

Very cute and charming house! Everything was clean and as described. The area is very convenient and it’s easy to get to many different hikes.

We really enjoyed our stay. Great location allowing us to be within walking distance of town, but far enough away for privacy and quiet. The house itself is perfect for entertaining and socializing, but also allows for people to spread out and have their own space. Having access to the garage is a huge perk for keeping ski/outdoor gear out of the way.

As last time, we enjoyed our stay there :)

This was our second time staying with Julie. Julie communicates well and the place is cozy and clean. We love the location in Keene and access to Lake Placid and Whiteface! We hope to stay with Julie again!

Doe-A-Deer was absolutely beautiful, we had a group of 11 that visited for our yearly ski trip for an extended weekend. The house was peaceful, clean, and modern. Only 20 minutes from whiteface mountain. Nice amenities and we loved the fireplace! Would love to stay here again, thanks again!

My group of 8 adults, 1 child & 2 dogs loved our stay! The host was very communicative, the kitchens/bathrooms/bedrooms were clean & stocked, and the views were gorgeous. Highly recommend!

Beautiful and peaceful place. Lots of room to hang out, inside and outside. It was nice that the kitchen was stocked with plenty of glasses, mugs, dishes, utensils, and things for cooking, as well as some other basics like spices and coffee filters. Tina and Greg were very responsive. Everyone loved it!

Awesome place to stay. Homeowners were very accommodating! For sure going back in the future with family and friends.

Brian’s home was even better than the photos. A big and lovely screened-in porch; a well-appointed kitchen; a luxuriously large living room and dining area. Brian is a responsive host- he answers questions very quickly. A perfect spot for a family gathering.

We enjoyed our stay! Perfect ski in ski out location on Titus mountain. FYI, There are 4 private bedrooms plus two more Murphy beds in basement. It’s hard to tell from the description. It was perfect for two families!

Michael’s place was perfect for our group of 8. The common space was comfortable and well-furnished. The cold temps did not allow us to enjoy the porch but in the warm weather it must be sublime! We made full use of the well-appointed kitchen. The little butler’s pantry was a great place to store non-perishable items so the kitchen counters remained clear. Each room had either an en suite bathroom or one right next door. Everyone loved the water pressure. We felt like we were away from it all but very accessible to town. Everyone in our group enjoyed their stay.

Had a fantastic time at the Jay house! Was so surprised that the skiing was only 15 minutes from the place, it made it super convenient. There were a lot of great restaurants nearby, and the guidebook left by Nicole was really helpful in finding great places! We also accidentally left an elephant at the house with sentimental value, and Nicole offered to ship it out to us! Above and beyond anything I could have expected, highly recommend.

Had a great stay, things we loved doing were fishing the lake, camp fires down by the water and just hanging out. Ausable Chasm was an amazing trip during our stay. I would also highly recommend hiking Rattlesnake Mountain, it’s a short approximately 15 minute ride from Petr’s place.

Annick was an amazing host to have! We asked for early check in, and she was able to accommodate us. She was very responsive and answered all questions we had. The hot tub stopped working during our stay and Annick and her brother were prompt to help and come repair. Our stay was amazing and would be back.

Loved our stay at Céline's place. Her daughter, Marie, co manages the listing and responds fairly quickly to questions. The place was clean enough when we arrived hence, we also made an effort to leave the place tidied up. We had everything we needed. The size was perfect for us 4 adults and 1 kid. We were looking forward to using the fire pit but alas, the weather was not cooperative. It was so windy. Overall a very peaceful and relaxing stay. One thing to note is we brought lots of water with us since the water source there comes from a well. There is a slight pungent smell to it but we managed. I think this will be a better place to stay at during warmer months so you can visit the nearby beach 11 mins drive away. There is also a possibility to do fishing. Highly recommended!

The A-frame was absolutely beautiful and 100% worth the visit. Will definitely be coming back! Peaceful home tucked away in the woods. Great location , white face mountain and high falls gorge short distance drive . Perfect wood-stove to relax in-front of. Awesome winter retreat.
