ABSOLUTELY AMAZING VIEWS!!! Seriously cannot beat the views of the ocean/beach. I was able to run the beach each morning which I loved. It’s a little steep and there are not stairs the entire way to the beach, however it’s very doable (wouldn’t recommend for those that need railings or assistance of any kind). The beach is basically private and we only ever saw maaaaybe 6 people the entire weekend. Beds were very comfortable and I hope to come back again!

Paul was really helpful and kind ! The view is incredible and the place although small was very comfortable for 2 people. My only odd thing and it’s silly, I’m 6’-5” and because it’s a very small place ( which completely added to it’s charm) The bathroom was a bit of a challenge for me. The shower was great it’s just the wall distance between the toilet and wall. It was rather tight. Overall amazing time !

My stay was peaceful and cozy. The cottage has a lot of charm and the beach is just a few minutes walk. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Sweet spot in a perfect location. Everything is well thought out. Very clean, with awesome perks - secluded patio; great sauna; the roar of the ocean; and a back way down to the beach. Was sorry to leave, and would love to return.

A perfect weekend at the coast! The property felt very private and serene, and the house was well-equipped and comfortable. Thomas was a great host - very communicative, gave great detailed recommendations on places to eat and visit, and even left a bottle of wine as a welcome gift (a surprise we were very grateful for after a long drive)! The location was fantastic - it was a quick and easy walk to both the beach and to the Old Oregon Smokehouse (as delicious as promised). Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful bungalow with a well equipped kitchen, wood burning fireplace in the living room and a full view of the ocean both from inside and on the large porch. Brian was so responsive to any and all questions we had during our week long stay. A great experience.

Stayed for four days, great location 30 min drive to bachelor and 20 min walk to downtown bend. The house was clean and well supplied, kitchen was functional for meals at home. There was some construction happening next door and back yard and the hosts were incredibly communicative about our plans so that the noise wouldn’t disturb us. Tall folks be warned- the ceilings are a little lower than is standard, anyone much taller than six foot may feel a titch cramped. All in all great stay, will keep in our rotation for future bend trips.

We have stayed at quite a few airbnb homes, and this is by far the best in every way. Every detail is thought of. The kitchen is well appointed, even having a number of cool cookbooks. Beautiful little garden to sit in, surrounded by a privacy hedge. The best!

This was a beyond perfect place for us to stay during a basketball tournament. Easy walk to convention center, rodeo grounds, downtown, everywhere. The house is super charming, very queen and the beds were extremely comfortable. There are too many nice touches to list, but especially the coffee. I would stay here again in heart beat.

Our family enjoyed our time here, pretending to live in Portland! Great location for families, close to parks and restaurants. We loved the retro decor. Hosts were very responsive, accommodated an early checkin request, and had lots of gear available for our babies. The only challenge was the steep stairs to the basement. We didn’t use the backyard because it was so cold during our visit, but it was a good size and fenced.

Comfortable home. Everything inside was clean and well thought out. Safe neighborhood. We would stay here again.

Honu House was lovely. It's a beautiful home with a great living space. We had our toddler with us, and he had a blast exploring the main living area which required very little kid-proofing. The location is very quiet. We had to walk 20 yards on the side of a faster road (that has little traffic) to get to the easement to the beach, but the beach was truly outstanding. In the other direction, there's a beautiful estuary with walking trails. Lucy was very helpful and communicative. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.

the cottage was perfect for our needs, good location, well equipped. hosts were co operative and flexible.

Great location where you can easily walk to restaurants and a grocery store. House is well appointed with everything needed for your stay. I’d say the most complicated thing is the thermostat but feel like this is user related (I have an old school thermostat at home). It was nice to have the space at the house after staying in hotels and feeling cramped. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
