The lakehouse was clean and very comfortable. It was so cozy using the pellet stove for heat and the house has a lot of natural light. I felt very relaxed staying here and slept well at night. The views of the lake are stunning, especially down at the dock. Our kids enjoyed going down to watch the sun rise and we enjoyed a campfire one evening as a family. Everything you need to know is clearly stated beforehand (like there being a lot of steep steps to get down to the lake and needing to bring your own drinking water), so there are no surprises. I appreciate the hosts providing so much important information up front so we didn’t have any issues or questions during our stay. Our only regret is not being able to stay longer.

Krae’s place is a lovely cottage: it is a comfortable, beautiful place, right across the street from the ocean with beautiful vistas of the ocean along multiple windows. We enjoyed the quiet, relaxed pace and gorgeous starry nights. Krae was so easy to contact and was super responsive. Would recommend this place in a heartbeat.

Great communication & beautiful stay! We loved the cozy atmosphere and lake views. <10 minute drive to “downtown” Ithaca with lots of little shops, great restaurants, and hikes. Thanks for a great stay!

Wir haben die Annehmlichkeiten dieser gemütlichen Unterkunft sehr genossen. Der grosse Esstisch und die Sofas sind so angelegt, dass wir auch bei dem schlechten Wetter eine wunderschöne Sicht nach draussen und auf das Wasser hatten. Die Küche war sehr gut zum Kochen ausgestattet und die Betten waren bequem. Ausserdem gibt es in jedem Zimmer genügend Stauraum. Uns hat der Aufenthalt in der Nebensaison sehr gefallen und wir können die Unterkunft wirklich sehr empfehlen.

Our stay was fantastic. Great location being right on the lake and waking up to that view every morning. Short drive to the main town. Close to restaurants, activities and gas stations. So many thoughtful touches put into the home that made it feel like home. Host provided many amenities (kayaks, paddleboat/board, fire pit, outside lounges, food goodies, coffee, toothbrush, games etc.) Host was very responsive and flexible. For a pet friendly location it was very clean. We are so grateful we got to bring our boy and share this amazing trip with him. He loved the dock. Would love to stay here again and would suggest this location to anyone wishing to visit Saratoga!

Always love staying on old Montauk Highway out of the hustle and bustle of the town but close enough to walk to the town and beach. The view was perfect. The cottage was adorable would definitely come back as some others had mentioned. The shower is a little small but hey, you're in Montauk who cares. If I had to complain about anything at all, I would say I wish there were more bed pillows great stay loved it thank you Ron

The house was perfect. Great location, decor and had all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed the tranquility and watched the beautiful sunrise with the birds. We went to Fire Island each day and were there in minutes. Truly an amazing experience.

Immaculately clean, beautifully decorated space. We had some issues with the tv but Trena was super friendly and responsive about it. It was exactly the space we were looking for when set out to book! Trena even left us fresh-baked chocolate chip bread and a lovely bottle of wine. Would absolutely stay here again!

We absolutely adored our stay! Ted and his wife were very quick with communication and she even gave us the history of the property which was very interesting. They felt like family but gave us complete privacy. We will be returning again and again for sure! The perfect weekend getaway!

We had a great stay for a week over winter break - skiing at the nearby resorts. It was frigid cold out so the fireplace was a great addition. Check in with Esther to make sure the firewood is available if you are planning a fire. Comfortable beds and kitchen had all the essentials for preparing and cooking meals. Beautiful surroundings - saw plenty of deer. The listing is true that the driveway is steep and not drivable after a storm or with any ice. We parked up in the top spot for most of our stay.
