Such a quiet and beautiful oasis in Kyoto. Spending the mornings sipping coffee on the balcony, was definitely a highlight to our time in Kyoto. In addition, it was easy access to public transportation but also a short (and beautiful stroll) to various points of interest in town. I adjusted the timing of our Kyoto visit to accommodate this reservation, and I am so happy that I did.

We loved staying here during our 8 night in Tokyo. It was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Hosts were easy to speak to and provided us with great information for checking in/out. We had no issues at all and would recommend this accommodation.

We had a great stay at this house. Perfect for a family of 5 with small children and a nanny.

We couldn’t have asked for a better host for our first trip to Japan. We had an incident occur before our stay with one of our family members and the host went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. Not only did they show concern, they booked us taxis to assist us to get the help we needed. The home was beautifully appointed and was very comfortable for our family of 6. It was the experience I hoped for when booking. Otsu is a quiet town and made for a nice respite after the hustle and bustle of the crowds in Kyoto and Osaka. I highly recommend booking this home for your trip to Kyoto!

Exceptional space - clean, comfortable and modern. Within easy walking distance to Kyoto Station, and a good home base for exploring the city. Would absolutely stay again.

It is newly renovated and very clean. The host was friendly and responsive. One thing to note is that one of the rooms has a traditional Japanese-style bed, and the futon wasn’t very comfortable. Overall, still a great stay!

What a great stay!!! We stayed at Jun’s place for five nights while in Kyoto and LOVED it. Jun is a wonderful host and very responsive . His place is very large and comfortable with a sitting room, a kitchen, a beautiful bathroom, and loft upstairs. We were right close to Higashiyama Gingaju and the philosophers walk and easy walking to many of the other temples. Bus and taxi service is close by. The area, close to Kyoto university feels like it’s next to a park. Just wonderful.

Lo que mas nos gustó fue que se sintió como estar en casa. Amplio, con buena luz natural. cercano a la estacion shin-osaka El ruido del metro no fue incoveniente porque saliamos temprano y llegábamos tarde y muy cansados. Excelentes camas.

The location is in a quiet neighborhood a short walk from the Keihan line, which runs up and down the city and will take you all the way to Osaka if needed. If you like walking, you can get to Kawaramachi and Kyoto Station and beyond. The room was spacious, spotless, and well-furnished, equipped with everything I needed and more. The coffee table and entryway were stocked with a number of travel pamphlets. The building itself is charming in a very '80s way, but the elevator is smooth and quiet. Last but certainly not least, Sumi is a true superhost, bringing much-needed Kyoto hospitality to Airbnb accommodations. She was ready to help with anything related to my trip, even things I hadn't though of yet.

We had an amazing stay! This was the perfect place for our group of 8 — spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out. There were plenty of rooms and beds, and the common areas were great for hanging out together without ever feeling cramped. The location is super convenient too — just a 1-minute walk to the train station, close to a convenience store, and situated in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Highly recommend this place for any large group looking for a comfortable and well-located stay!

Das Hostel ist sehr schön, die kostenlose Nutzung der Waschmaschine und Trockner ist ein extra plus. Die Unterkunft liegt zu Fuß wenige Minuten von der nächsten Bahnstation. Die Lage ist optimal um sich in Osaka einiges anzuschauen ohne weite Wege…zum Beispiel Universal Studios Japan oder Osaka Castel. Der Host Inho, ist sehr nett und antwortet schnell auf Nachfragen. Ich habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt.

Das Zimmer ist nur ein paar Blocks von JR Station (Supermarkt), Kintetsu Station, Altstadt und Restaurants entfernt. Trotz unmittelbarer Lage an Bahnsttrecke sehr ruhig. Sehr freundlich - der defekte Wasserkocher und ein abgenutzter Topf wurden sofort und unkompliziert ersetzt.

Parfait, excellent rapport qualité prix, placé parfaitement à 5 min de la gare et 5 min du parc, l'appartement était niquel (lit très confortables) et super bien indiqué. Nous recommandons !

I stayed at Hoshino’s for a night and was warmly welcomed by him. He showed me everything clearly and efficiently and made sure I felt right at home. Lovely location as well for some nice walks!

Excellent location and very easy to get to places. Like many places in Japan, spaces are smaller, however we really loved the deep wardrobe/ cupboard. We were able to hang clothes, stack all our bags on a shelf and roll our suitcases straight in. Host was very helpful and gave us great information on current events. Would recommend.

Je remercie énormément KA House ! Nous sommes arrivés très en avance de notre voyage de Osaka et ils ont préparé la chambre en avance. Il y a tous ce qu'il faut en terme de couverts, produit douche et tout ce qui concerne la cuisine. La gentillesse de ceux qui gère l'établissement se ressent énormément par message. Ils sont là en cas de besoins et répondent assez rapidement. Je vous conseille vivement d'y prendre quelques, c'est confortable et typique. Merci encore KA House pour ce moment inoubliable !

May was really kind and gave a lot of recommendations that she had typed out and left in the room for us! The location is great, less than a 5 min walk to the markets and has a ton of shops/restaurants. The room was also spacious, similar size to a hotel room as well as the bathroom. Would definitely book again

This place is close to everything you want to do in Kyoto including using the trains and bus. Restaurant below was a favorite. We also found Eggs and Things which we loved for 9:00 breakfast.

Lovely place to stay - clean, big, and very well equipped!

Nicely designed building. Room is tight but cozy. Toilet has heater which is extremely useful in winter. Need to walk a fair distance to the closest train stations.

This accommodation is perfectly located, walking distance from Kyoto station. plenty of food and drinks in the area. plenty of space in the apartment for a little family.
