We stayed in this beautiful house as a family of 4 with 2 teenagers and had a wonderful time. The house itself is beautifully renovated to provide modern facilities yet retains the character of the traditional Japanese shop house. We really appreciated the washing machine/dryer as we had packed lightly and most especially, we loved the location. The house is walking distance to most attractions in Gion and there are convenience stores, restaurants and supermarkets close by. Would definitely recommend!

This was our first time in Japan. Japan is a wonderful vacation spot and this Airbnb was a wonderful addition to our trip. The location was great. It’s located away from the tourist spots, meaning you will not be overwhelmed by other people when are done for the day. Just locals going about their daily lives. It’s also not too far from anything so you can easily get to any attractions you really want to see. The Airbnb is set up very thoughtfully and I would love to come back to Japan and back to this Airbnb.

The place is immaculate. Brand new everything and it was all done so well. The rooms and bathrooms were amazing. This is a must stay if you are looking for a large place in Osaka. I really can recommend this place anymore. The host is beyond fantastic and always responds quickly and accurately! Absolutely one of the best Airbnb’s I have stayed in!

This was a magnificent, absolutely perfect stay in Kyoto. The hosts are very friendly, hospitable, helpful in all matters; special thanks for the welcome goods! We fell in love with the house instantly. There are all the facilities you might need ever in your life, the atmosphere is exactly what we wanted from traditional house in Kyoto. It was very clean, cozy and just magical. We took very good memories with us from this stay. Also bikes were available which was very convenient, since Kyoto is the place to sightsee on bicycle.

Our family of 7 had a truly wonderful stay at Kimi’s place in Kyoto. The house was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a memorable trip. Kimi and his wife were incredibly kind and thoughtful. They even surprised us with gifts, which made our stay even more special. When we accidentally left an item behind, Kimi graciously arranged to have it delivered to us, showing such care and hospitality. Throughout our stay, communication was easy, warm, and helpful. We could really feel the heart they put into hosting, and we are so grateful for the experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kyoto. Thank you again, Kimi and Marilyn!

非常满意的一次住宿，房东沟通友善，回复及时。 住宿:和照片描述一致，打扫得很干净，白天刚起床稍微有些冷。床很软睡得很舒服。设施也较为齐全。房东提供的帮助手册十分完善。 交通:步行至地铁口的时间不算很长，前往市内几个著名景点可能需要多转次线，但在可接受范围内。 周边:在一个居民区内，晚上十分安静，不长的步行距离即可到达711。同时体验了房东推荐的几家商户，体验都不错，值得尝试。

这次的住宿体验感非常好，去环球影城只要10分钟左右，对于我们来说太便利了。 房间很干净、设施很全、厨房设施全，微波炉、冰箱等，洗衣机、洗澡间可以开暖气，如果洗澡怕冷的话，帮助很大。 还有好喝的咖啡☕️。 整个民宿有3层，楼下一间房，2楼是厨房，洗澡、看电视活动区，3楼有2间房，其中有一间有2张床铺、很适合带小孩的家庭。民宿总共有2个卫生间，一楼有一个卫生间，3楼2个房间时间也有一个卫生间。 民宿的位置很安静，房间大小也很合适，体验感极好。推荐，性价比高，2个家庭入住完全没有问题。 楼梯的话比较陡，老人，小朋友上下楼的话要注意一些。 下次还会选择这里。

Home best suited for 2 guests. Very distinctive, original apartment, with older walls and panels and tatami mat floors. Not for those with access difficulties (stairs, low roof in the loft/bedroom area). Within walking distance to Central Kyoto and about 15 minute walk to Gion. Very quiet as it's off the street and in the middle of the block, neighbours are also very quiet. Michiko was lovely and let us store or bags in the shop when we arrived early before check in (and took our bags to the unit before we came back). The food from her restaurant was lovely as well! Thank you very much.

Location is amazing, right next to Tennoji station and metro and also the park and zoo. Apartment is spacious and very comfortable. The complimentary cake was also a lovely touch! Highly recommended

As 2 people we found the space just enough for us both since we had a carry on and checked in luggage each. The walls of the room are a little thin so you may hear your neighbour if someone else is in the room next to you. The location is very convenient to namba station and great access to convenience stores near by to grab any quick supplies or snacks. Yoshikata was really responsive and tried their best to help us if possible. The neighbourhood is located in a popular anime and maid cafe area so there’s foot traffic in the area during the day however it gets very quiet and dark at night for your awareness. Overall a great stay if you need a spot to easy access to the trains, shopping, and eating!

Highly recommend this apartment, it's centrally located, close to public transport and Dotonburi. It was the perfect size for our family of 3 and the view over the river was perfect for staying in the middle of the city. The host provided small, snacks, sweets and refreshments. There were also umbrellas for the rainy days and we felt at home.

Super appart. au depart j etais sceptique car le prix est vraiment bon mais aucune surprise. beaucoup de place. A diatance de marche de plusieurs activités tel que aquarium, grande roue. pour Universal, prendre le traversier et une petite marche. collé sur le metro et proche de Expo 2025 Osaka. j y retournerais sans hésitation.

The place is situated in the quiet neighborhood 1 stop away from Namba station. It was also around 7mins walking distance to the nearest subway with convenience stores along the way. The place was clean and well equipped with necessary stuff that you’ll need for your stay such as laundry machine, microwave and kitchen utensils. Tina the host, was also responsive and very patient in answering queries. Overall, it was a great stay.

友人7人と過ごさせていただきましたが、備品、部屋数、広さ、全てが素晴らしくとても快適に過ごせました！ 食器やタオルも清潔で、洗面所が大きくトイレ3つ、シャワールームも2つあり大人数でもとても過ごしやすかったです！ またすぐ近くに24時間営業のスーパーがありとても便利でした

Excellent location and very easy to get to places. Like many places in Japan, spaces are smaller, however we really loved the deep wardrobe/ cupboard. We were able to hang clothes, stack all our bags on a shelf and roll our suitcases straight in. Host was very helpful and gave us great information on current events. Would recommend.

A bit far from jr station ( 1 km ) but very near with bus station place very clean and comfy

Located in a quiet neighbourhood, right in the historic centre of Kyoto. Authentic feeling apartment with all the necessary facilities.

I was traveling with three teens. Everything was perfect. Lots of room. Loved the bathtub. Near a train station. The place is an authentic home. This is easy to reach for traveling and exploring but this is not into the middle of everything. It’s a bit away from central Kyoto. Bus is about 20minutes. We loved it

지역 이름 그대로 살기좋고, 길게 있고싶은곳 언젠가, 살거나 길게 여행을 하게되면 나가이공원 주변에서 꼭 머물고싶다는 생각이 항상 있었습니다. 휴직을 하고, 드디어 용기를내서 왔네요. 운이 좋게도 이 숙소가 있어서, 선택하게 되었어요. 숙소에 대해선 사실 세탁기만 있으면 다 없어도OK 라는 생각이었는데, TV, 레인지, 세탁기, 에어컨까지 다 있어서 너무좋았어요. 불만이 전혀 없어서 숙소 내부에 대해 뭔가 가득가득 쓰고싶어도 떠오르는게 없네요. 호스트는 오사카사람 그 자체입니다. 활기차고, 웃음이 많은 밝은사람이며, 모두와 금방 친해지는 사람이에요. 숙소 관리자와 같이 밥먹는걸 경험해본적 없었는데, 함께 밥도먹고, 사소한 일상적인 대화도 하며, 덕분에 즐거운 시간이었어요. 무언가가 필요하거나 부족한 부분이 없는지 항상 확인해줍니다. 혹시 오시는분이 일본어나 영어를 못하더라도, 통역어플이 있으니까 어떻게든 도와줄거에요. "외국어는 다른나라의 말이니까 어쩔수없이 틀릴수밖에 없으니까, 틀리더라도 좌절하지않고 꾸준히 쓰며 익숙해지면된다" 라는 생각의 호스트라서, 정말 멋있다고 생각합니다. 예정때문에 지금은 잠시 나고야로 이동했지만, 당장이라도 돌아가고싶을정도로 여전히 생각나는 지역이고 정말 만족스러운 숙소였습니다. 지역의 사람들도 친절하며 웃음이 많아요. 함께있으면 미소짓게되는 분위기의 사람들이 사는 동네이고, 항상 조용한 분위기의 마을이지만, 주말이나 스포츠경기가 있는날은 활기넘치는 마을이 됩니다.
