The house is large and clean. There was a big bucket of salt left for us (thank god as it snowed everyday) and the deck was shoveled when we arrived. All amenities worked and we enjoyed our time. The hot tub did have trouble keeping up with temp but it was 8 degrees out and to be expected. Be aware that the bedroom that is the game room is in a separate small building from the house. In the winter it’s a small icy walk. Totally doable though. I would definitely return in warmer weather as the area looks like it would be beautiful in summer with lots for teens to amuse themselves

MJ and Packy’s listing was exactly as described. Right on the Hudson River with beautiful views. Quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Kitchen was fully stocked. Rooms were comfy (beds could be upgraded but were adequate). Super clean bathroom and kitchen. Plenty of linens/towels. It’s 15-20 minutes from Glen Falls and Lake George and 25 mins to Saratoga Springs, if you want more options for food/nightlife/things to do. We were snowed in for a day and it felt just like home - games/tv/comfy couch. Would recommend.

We loved Leslie's place and would book here again in a heartbeat - especially in beach season (we were there mid-April). We opted for Leslie's because of its great location over a much larger home with more amenities in the same price range - we were not disappointed! We have two teenage boys and we felt comfortable letting them explore the neighborhood on their own while we squeezed in a few hours of work. Walk or bike to beach, park, basketball courts, restaurants/bars, laundry and more. Encountered many friendly neighbors on our walks. Average 15 min drive to explore lots in West Haven/New Haven. The deck is almost as large as the house with a grill and great furniture. The fully fenced yard was perfect for our dog - even she felt right at home immediately! The inside is nicely decorated and very comfortable. I loved having my coffee/beer/ cocktail on the deck in view of Long Island Sound with my dog sunning herself by my feet! I highly recommend for couples or families of all ages!

Eddie’s place was one of the best homes we’ve stayed in via Airbnb. He was tremendously accommodating and responsive. The home was very clean and accommodated our family well. We’ll definitely book here again when we return to LI!

Stephanie and Jason are amazing hosts! We stayed 5 nights at their lovely lakehouse. The house and amenities are well thought out and very welcoming. Everything that you need in the kitchen is there and lots of great restaurants are located within a reasonable drive. The rooms were great. The beds and other furniture were comfy. The setting in the pine trees is super private and very relaxing. The house is less than 100 feet to the lake. We had a lot of fun paddling around the lake in the kayaks. We highly recommend staying here, it's such a relaxing location and just what we needed for our getaway to the Poconos! Keep an eye out for wildlife when in the area, you'll get to see turtles, fish, ducks, and geese if you go for a kayak or canoe ride and fury friends out along road ways - so great to be able to see a variety of animals out and about. The kayaks and canoes are in great condition, no leaks on the three that we used. Highly recommended! Thanks, Ben & Kelly

This property was fantastic. The lake is beautiful, the kayaks and canoe offered by Vincent were in great condition and easy to use to explore the lake. And the house is well decorated, comfortable, and fits a large group easily. I would highly recommend a stay. Vincent is a great communicator and made the whole process easy — zero hassle whatsoever along the way.

We had such a great time staying at this Milford house! It was even better in person than the pictures show, more spacious than expected. The balconies overlooking the water were great to wake up to, and the small touches that the host added (towels set up and stacked in each bedroom, full coffee bar) made everything that much better! Allana was incredibly kind and responsive, being proactive about check in and check out and making sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be repeat stayers at this house!

This house was beautiful! It was very spacious with a lot of rooms. The king bed was also very comfortable. It was in a nice location and Jennifer & Jose were very responsive and helpful. When we arrived, they had surprised us with s’mores for the fire pit, which was so nice :) we had a lot of fun with the ping pong and foosball tables! We also loved fishing from the dock on the lake. I would definitely recommend this place!

The neighborhood was beautiful. We walked out to an island that was only accessible at low tide. Great shared spaces with fun rooms and lovely bedrooms.

The property is exactly as described—beautiful, cozy, and perfect for a group getaway, with charming wood paneling and all the comforts of home. The hot tub and stunning views of the snow-covered landscape were highlights, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere after a day out. The location was ideal, offering both privacy and proximity to skiing and other activities, and the hosts provided clear instructions for check-in, making the experience stress-free. We’d highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quiet, cozy escape in the mountains!

The house had stunning views from every room on all floors. The kitchen was well-equipped for our large family. The owner’s responses to questions about the property were prompt and helpful. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub since it was too early in the season for the swimming pool. My family agreed we would rent again if a reunion is planned.

Perfect venue for a Thanksgiving getaway with our whole family. Rather than having out of town family staying at hotels, we could all stay together in a comfortable home with a beautiful view.

We had a wonderful stay at Steve and Dorry’s place! The living room and kitchen is surprisingly spacious and feels so open & inviting because of the outdoor deck space and view of water. We hope to be back again!

Everything was perfect ! My family and I had a great time. Looking forward to staying here again in the summer.

This Oceanfront Getaway has amazing views of the ocean from all over the house. We sat on the deck and watched the tide come in, we cooked dinner and watched the tide go out. My family and I took long walks down the very quite beach (right outside the back gate). This section of beach seems to only be used by the people that live in the neighborhood so it did feel almost like a private beach. My kids found so many large sea shells they had trouble picking a few favorites to bring home. There were lots of great places to eat within a short drive. I highly recommend any of the G Cafe and Bakery locations for a great coffee and/or breakfast treat. It was also fun to explore some of the smaller towns nearby like Branford and Niantic both of which offered unique shopping experiences. Marc and team were super responsive and provided many amenities like laundry soap, dish soap, coffee, and creamers. We had so much fun we look forward to a return trip in the future.

Steven was such an amazing host. super friendly and very attentive to make sure our stay went above our expectations. We truly enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and soaking up the beauty of the views and tranquil setting. we would definitely book this Airbnb again.

We stayed here for a wedding at The Burr Mansion, which was extremely close to the house! The house was clean and updated. A few spots to walk to including a local bar. Just a walk to the beach. Bedrooms are all spacious and were very clean. Would definitely stay again.

I was in town for a family event and wanted something other than a hotel room. The home was cozy and inviting, instructions were clear and precise. Being late October the weather was unbelievable warm. We (me and 2 sisters) were able to enjoy the wonderful deck and beautiful scenery. It was peaceful and quiet with an amazing views. Semir's lovely home, located in a coastal Milford community with easy access to Yale University, exceeded expectations and was perfect for our family. The ocean views from the home's top floor and proximity to the beach were priceless; the neighborhood was quaint and quiet, and the house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed and many extras that added to our visit, such as a flower vase. After discovering the vase, we purchased fresh flowers during a trip to town and placed them in the center of the dining room table, which made our cozy conversations and meals all the more special. Semir was easy to reach, friendly, and accommodating. We will most certainly book again in the future.
