Jane was an excellent host and responded to my enquiries before booking and whilst we were there. The apartment is bright and airy with a perfect balcony where you can watch the sun go down whilst listening to the birds. The spa on site is great, outdoor pool is a little fresh! You need to book a slot in advance in busy periods but Jane will send you all the details you need. We had a really relaxing stay and would stay again.

Had weekend in Gloucester to visit Christmas markets Ideally located apartment so we could park up and just walk around the town and markets and stop for food and drinks without worrying about driving Took our working cocker spaniel with us so was nice to have a dog friendly apartment rather than staying in a hotel. Having the nature reserve and fields behind the apartment was a bonus Elaina was very quick to respond to messages and very accommodating. Apartment was nice and clean and has all kitchen facilities to use but we took advantage and ate out at nice restaurants on the dock (Greek on the Docks and Dr Fosters and great old dog friendly pub The fountain. Lovely weekend all in all

Vicky and Jake were there to meet us and were very helpful with instructions on how to use heating and appliances within the apartment, we got good helpful advice on the local area and were made very welcome. Lots of little extras to help us feel at home and it was an extremely comfortable place to come back to and relax after a long day at the races or on the tourist trail. We would definitely consider using the apartment again in future visits to Cheltenham.

Great place to stay if you want to be within easy walking distance of all of the amenities. The place was clean and spotless and well presented. The heating was on so it was a bit warm when we arrived. Secure parking was a bonus albeit a bit tricky to manoeuvre in a small space. You wouldn't get a large car in and there was restricted headroom if your car had a top box. The whole apartment was well equipped although an oven glove and baking trays would have been useful and the saucepans had seen better days. Overall we would give it a 5 star rating as the issues I mentioned are really only an issue if you are cooking for yourselves. And be prepared for the seagulls as they can be a bit vocal at night. But we enjoyed our girlie break and had a super time.

We visited Upton for the Sunshine Festival, but didn’t want to spend the weekend in a tent! We were thrilled to find this beautiful apartment with a river view, just steps from the local pubs and restaurants. Elisabeth phoned me the day before arrival to give clear directions, then she met us outside the property. We had a quick tour of the apartment, and she left us milk and biscuits. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with plenty of room for us both. Plenty of storage, although a few more coat hangers would be useful. The shower over the bath was hot and powerful, with a selection of shower gels and shampoos. The kitchen was compact, but had all that we needed, including washing up liquid, tea towel and scourer. The lounge was extremely comfortable with the stunning view of the river. We ate at the Boathouse, 3 mins walk. Delicious tapas and live music. We had a delicious Sunday roast at the King’s Head, 4 mins walk. I would highly recommend Elisabeth’s apartment.

Brilliant peaceful location exactly as described. The accommodation had everything needed for my stay. Holly was a brilliant host. Always available and very kind and friendly.

This is a modern, comfortable house on a new development. It’s within easy walking distance of Offa’s Dyke, Wye Valley Greenway, nice restaurants and the local Tesco. Convenient regular bus service from town that we used to go to Tintern and walk back. The house is well equipped should you wish to cook and felt very welcoming. arrival is by keylock but contact from Jonathan was regular and friendly. I would highly recommend this house.

Stunning property. Stayed as a family aging from two to eighty three and Sunset lodge had everything you could need for a comfortable stay away. Kitchen has everything needed and more to dine in. Modern, comfortable furnishings in spacious rooms all with lovely views of the water. Safe for children and easy to move around with a partially sighted guest with limited mobility. Michelle was a fantastic host, always responsive and provided lots of information regarding the property and site. Lovely indoor and outdoor swimming pool on site in the spa with booked slots so didn’t get too busy. Site was beautiful, quiet and calm for a relaxing short break with family.

Had a fab 3 night stay, great location for us, could walk everywhere. House was lovely! We didnt mind being in the middle of two pubs, both worth a visit. Thank you Debbie, hope you'll have us back again 😊

We had a lovely stay at Sharon's lodge. The lake grounds are beautiful and her home was immaculate and we felt immediately at home. We would definitely come back!

Couldn’t recommend this property more - absolutely gorgeous! We went as a group of girls and will definitely be returning but also would be perfect for those with families and will be looking to book to bring my little one. The property went above and beyond and had lots of extra details which made you feel immediately at home. Property even more beautiful in person, absolutely spotless and incredibly comfortable. Fantastic communication from Neil - friendly, proactive and informative. The location is absolutely stunning and plenty of parking. Look forward to returning, thank you for a fabulous stay.

We had a lovely Easter break in this house with our family (8 adults). The weather was perfect so we enjoyed playing tennis and paddle boarding on site and walked to the pub in the village.

Lovely stay in the Cotswolds at this cool house by a lake. Fun stuff to do locally even in a rainy Feb half term. Kids felt safe and really enjoyed it. Special mention to Suus our host who was so helpful and super responsive. Recommended!

Came back for my second stay a combination of work and leisure. Place is so well fitted out and on the docks with great views. Near shops and restaurants.

Fabulous location, beautiful, bright & well maintained apartment. The pictures speak for the apartment and the amenities within the estate. I would like to speak more about the hosts, Jane has been very welcoming since the time we booked the property for our Easter weekend stay. Had been in touch regarding the bed room arrangements and informed us to book the amenities ahead of our stay so we get a slot. When I informed her that we did not manage to get the slot, she went in person to make the bookings on our behalf. What a lovely gesture! The day we check-in, Jane's clear instructions helped in locating the property without any issue. I had to contact Jane to inform that our 8 year old was looking for youtube in TV and reg the gaming console remote. In the next 5 mins, her husband was there to sort it all out for us which we really didn't expect. They are such lovely hosts doing everything possible to ensure their guests get what they expect. We'll definitely visit again!

Came too stay for a few nights away with my friend and our 2 labradors. Absolutely lovely apartment and wonderfully clean throughout! The thought behind leaving doggy bowls, towels,treats and even a ball or 2 was lovely! Hosts were so friendly and helpful with local walks suggested for us and the pooches! We will be back and highly recommend as they have thought of everything you need for a little break away! Thank you for a lovely stay x

Great place to stay for both work and pleasure. Parking right outside the front door. Walking distance of shops and restaurants. Turn left out of the property and you’re on the river. Turn right out the property, cross the road and you’re at the abbey. Perfect.

A gem of a place - wonderful hosts - clean inside and beautiful outside. Ample parking space and a tranquil walking area ! Would love to stay again !

Wonderful stay, 15 min walk from town along the canal. Chris was very helpful and kind. A cosy little cotswolds getaway!

What a gem of a find in Gloucester! Apartment is close walk to the quays and town and situated near everything you would need! Was a lovely open plan apartment that catered to all our needs. Pavol was an amazing host checking in to make sure we were enjoying our stay and everything was alright! Will definitely be booking back with them when we visit Gloucester in the future!
