This is a very nice Adirondack camp, with beautiful Long Lake right in the backyard. The house was very well equipped and clean. We found everything we needed. Large windows offer a great view of Long lake. Our host was very responsive. One thing to know is that if you are staying in this house in cold weather you may hear mice in the attic, but this is not unusual in Adirondack camps such as this one. Overall, we recommend this house on beautiful Long Lake to anybody looking to stay in the area.

Jared and Amanda's place was perfect for our 2 families this ski season. The place was so conveniently located to Gore Mountain where we skied for the weekend. It was such a comfortable home for all the adults and our kids with plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals, there were ample seats at the table to eat together and our kids enjoyed all the toys and air hockey table. Our hosts were welcoming and very responsive. They were quick to answer any questions that came up and were so helpful and kind. We really felt like they put a lot of love into their place and it showed. We plan to come back and stay at their place next ski season. It was such a great find!

The house was amazing, just like the photos! Had plenty of room for the two of us along with our Daughter and our two Grandchildren. The girls enjoyed the hot tub, and swimming in the lake! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to rent for their vacation! My only wish was it was on the water! I love looking out the window to see the water!

Barbara’s peaceful cabin was absolutely gorgeous. We loved every minute of our stay. Beautiful scenery and right next to the lake. The cabin is also only a short distance from the Lapland skiing center and therefore an ideal location for all cross country skiing fans. Barbara was extremely responsive and answered all our questions. We are hoping to come back in the summer

Amazing cozy spot with an incredible lake view. Went off-season with my girlfriend to enjoy ATV riding and we enjoyed our stay. You can sit by the campfire, and enjoy nature at night. Very quiet place perfect for nature lovers. The stargazing is also incredible!

Our stay near Otto Lake was just what we were looking for: a family get away to celebrate the holiday. While the weather kept us from our outdoor plans, we were grateful for the spacious and comfortable interior to share a massive meal and enjoy each other’s company.

I was here for a fall visit so could not take full advantage of the wonderful lake location but would love to come back in the summer to fully enjoy this location. We did have the chance to go on an afternoon kayak which was great fun and absolutely beautiful with the fall foliage! The kitchen is very well stocked with pots and pans and utensils as well as a few spices. We cooked a lot and I brought all ingredients and condiments I needed and I would recommend you do the same. Shop before hand as there is not a grocery store nearby. The location is right across the street from a Circle K but the house is nestled far back from the road with a garage out front so the gas station and all it's buzz were not at all noticeable. The living room was arranged awkwardly and with some tired furniture and the TV is actually in the dining room. If you were a large group trying to watch a movie or gather in the living room this would be a bit challenging. The beds were extremely comfortable!

The home is beautiful inside and out. The views of the lake were incredible! Kristine and David were great hosts! They had a bottle of wine and the ingredients for s’mores waiting for us upon arrival! It snowed our first night there (which made for gorgeous scenery), but that didn’t stop us from microwaving the marshmallows and enjoying the s’mores 😉. Snowfall, beautiful gas fireplace going, cup of cocoa and s’mores. Doesn’t get better than that on a Thanksgiving weekend trip. Also, I’m an early riser and the driveway was already plowed by the time I woke up. We are already looking forward to staying there during the summer!!! Can’t say enough good things about this place!

Wonderful cottage right on 4th Lake with beautiful views. We had a wonderful time staying here. Kristine and her husband were very pleasant and had excellent communication. We would definitely come back.

We had a great stay for my friend’s birthdays. Rick and Jenn were so responsive and even got someone to plow the drive way for us during the snow. It was cozy and welcoming and we will definitely be back in the summer!

Jon’s place was a beautiful spot on the water. The cabins were adorable.

This is a wonderful property right on Lake Bonaparte. The house is warm, welcoming, and well cared for. Lake Bonaparte is wonderful for kayaking, although I recommend going first thing in the morning before all the motorized boats get on the water. The west side of the lake is more uninhabited and peaceful, if that's what you're looking for during your paddle. We spent much of our time sitting on the front porch enjoying the view and playing board games in the screened in porch. It was really nice to unplug for a few days, and I highly recommend this property if that's what you're looking for.

This is a place you would want to come back over and over again. So serene and relaxing place, Perfect for the whole family!The moment you walk in ,you will fall in love with it. Everything is clean too! I love that it is pet friendly. There’s even treats for our dog and some freebies for us. Little things matter!Thank you Astrid for sharing your home with us!

Great location for moderate hikes and small town feel.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time. We kayaked up the river and saw beavers and lots of birds. the amenities were great. very cute cabin with a fantastic view

I've stayed at a couple dozen AirBnB's over the years, but this most recent one, Jacqui's place on Spruce Lake, goes right to the top of my list of best AirBnB experiences. It has an amazing location, is wonderfully designed and decorated, pristinely clean and functional, but most of all, it has an indefinably cozy and peaceful vibe. A lovely retreat from the world, and a great place to hang out in front of a roaring fire ( it has a truly magnificent fireplace) with loved ones.

We had such a nice stay at Creekside Cabin! The home is lovely, clean and cozy. They thought of everything to make their guests feel more at home and it was hard to say goodbye. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a private stay with easy access to nearby locations. We look forward to staying again in the future!

The cottage and property was well maintained. You definitely feel like you’re staying at a person’s home. The books, games, open floor plan, soaking tub, all make you feel cozy and if your staying at a friends cabin without the guilt of being an intrusive guest. The bugs deterred us from being outside at night, but that is to be expected with the view. The kayaks were easy to use and not far from a sandy shore and lake. We stuck to the middle tiny island and floated. It is not deep. The private beaches are not necessary but there is a small area near the painted frog rock where you can place your kayak if you are alone and want to swim. I was told by the renter’s it was fine but you want to ask because I don’t know if it’s technically private shoreline. Sitting in the living room playing trivia and hiking Auger Falls was our family’s highlight and bringing our dog made him so happy. He is still tired! It was the perfect combination of rustic charm with excellent amenities.

We had a fabulous long weekend at Shasta’s place. Our family loves the outdoors and the location couldn’t have been better. It is right on Garnet Hill XC ski and snowshoe trails. Garnet Hill has been a favorite of our for years and so discovering this house was a gem of a find. It is also super close to Gore for some great downhill skiing and great snowshoe trails are also close. It is also super quiet being away from roads and other houses. We enjoyed cuddling up in front of the fire and playing games in the evening. We’re definitely planning to try to come back in the future!

This is a beautiful place! The cabin is warm and cozy. The views of the lake are wonderful. Despite the chilly temperatures outside, the cabin was warm. The electric fireplace provided ample heat and created a warm, cozy atmosphere. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals. There is also a very nice set of barbecue tools for grilling outdoors. Upon arrival there were some welcome snacks. All amenities are as listed in the description. There is also a nice array of wine glasses and cocktail supplies. There are many opportunities to enjoy the beauty of the Adirondacks within a reasonable distance- hiking trails, Tupper Lake, Lake Placid. The view from the cabin is great. Sitting at the firepit also provides a good view of the lake. The location is very private and peaceful. Martin is a wonderful host. He was very responsive to all questions prior to and throughout our stay. I highly recommend this location.
