The place was perfect for our winter family vacation. The home was as described in a beautiful setting with a great view. If staying in the winter months having a vehicle with at least all wheel drive is helpful, as this is Vermont. The home is out of the way, but easy driving distance to ski and explore the nearby towns.

We had a wonderful stay. We’re a group of 4 mostly retired couples. Linda’s place was perfect for our needs. We used 4 bedrooms each with its own bathroom, comfortable communal space, a dining room that accommodated all of us, and a great kitchen with lots of counter space, utensils, serving dishes, etc. The main bedroom upstairs also had an adjoining suite perfect for families with young children. Linda’s instructions were clear and she was very responsive to all messages. Linda had towels for the hot tub which we loved using after a day of outdoor activity. We highly recommend Linda’s place and look forward to returning next year.

AMAZING!!! If you are looking for a house to stay at with multiple people in Lake Placid then this is the place to stay!!! Plenty of bed rooms and multiple living rooms! Everything was clean and inside was beautiful. Short walk to Main Street so that was convenient. Also, the kitchen was wonderful and was great to cook in. Very well equipped! The hosts were awesome, left clear instructions on check in and clean up. Responded right away and were super nice!! We were all very happy with our stay (:

The Chalet was just perfect. Listing perfectly described what you were getting with this little piece of paradise! The Sauna was easily workable. The hot tub was clean and ready to go. The whole house was immaculate and roomy yet cozy. Perfect distance to the MANY MANY WATERFALLS the boyfriend and I were chasing. Skiing at Whiteface will be happening in the future, and hopefully using Judi's gorgeous Chalet to ease my weary bones once again in the future. Had a great stay with friends at Laura’s place. Laura was friendly flexible and reached out to make sure we didn’t have any issues checking in. Very nice place with a nice Vermont feel. 10-15 minutes from skyeship base. Had a great weekend. Would stay again.

A friend and I stayed at The Railhouse for 5 nights over the course is US Alpine Masters Nationals. The house is cute, cozy and clean. Rebecca has clearly taken great care to have everything her guests might need, and to make the place comfortable and fun for an extended stay in the area. Rebecca was friendly and very helpful and responsive; an amazing host. Location is amazing - 5 minutes from Gore, RIGHT in town, but private, walkable to the shops and a great coffee shop (shout out to Sarah’s). Look forward to staying again

Barbara was a wonderful host. The space was perfect for the four of us over the holiday break. Our kids especially enjoyed the game room and took advantage of the puzzles. Cozy home with great views and privacy.

Nice clean place to stay and excellent communication from the hosts. The property matches what's described. We were skiing all day and was a good spot to crash. It was bit further from Killington than we wanted, but that was clear up front!

A perfect spot for us and our small pooch. The only challenge was that I had to carry our small dog upstairs, because she couldn’t do the stairs. Wonderful,private location, and Barb dealt with an internet issue very promptly, but also respected our privacy.
