Tucked away between the hills of Reaboro Ontario, this 175+ year old pioneer log cabin has been brought back to life with the comfort of all new modern amenities, while still keeping the rich historic character of its past. The cabin homestead was crafted in 1847, before Canada was a country. With your significant other, family or friends, come cozy up to the fire, soak in the hot tub and enjoy swimming in the spring fed pond. Board games and movies are provided for your entertainment.

Bee Keeper's Cabin - a very private retreat

91 acres, trails, total privacy, spring fed lake, solar power/propane heated, gas stove top, propane fridge, out-house, firepit, wi-fi ; canoe/paddleboat (seasonally) Self check in and self cleaning For those who leave a "light foot print" Basic kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and dishes are provided, BUT guests must bring their own drinking water, pillows and bedding. Riverfront Lodging No cleaning fee !

A place to relax in winter in front of the gas stove with a beautiful view of the Otonabee River. In summer enjoy a swim or a paddle on on the river with one of our two kayaks. The kayaks are available between May 1st & October 1st as long as the river conditions are acceptable. Enjoy supper prepared using the fully equipped kitchen overlooking the river. A park like setting but only 5 minutes to shopping, restaurants, and entertainment in downtown Peterborough.

Getaway with the whole family, including your pup! Tucked away in a forest with a large deck overlooking the pond, everyone can enjoy. Ammenities include an oversized sofa, extra large flat screen, gas fireplace, and beautiful kitchen. Please note, the owner Russell does reside in the lower unit from May-early January.
