I loved staying at Amanda’s place for 6 weeks at the end of winter. There is so much space and each room is designed to meet a certain need or vibe — I loved working from home in the attic, and then relaxing in the movie area, or in the living room. WiFi was faster than what I have at home. The kitchen has everything that you could need. In response to some other reviews, I want to note that the fridge/freezer works perfectly well. Also, the neighborhood is awesome — a 15 minute walk to all the new businesses and food spots… Camp, Eliza, Ollie’s, Village Coffee, Fantzye, and 5 minutes to Lone Wolf and Unicorn Bar. Safe and easy to walk, and so easy to drive — truly 5 minutes to all the best spots in town. I was so cozy here and will remember my time so fondly. It was a pleasure being Amanda’s neighbor and I would encourage folks to stay who are courteous and neighborly — happy to share washer/dryer, good communicators, etc. I already miss this community, space, and home.

Kerri's 3 houses we rented for my daughters wedding and they were all spotless and beautiful. So much character inside and out that everyone had their space to relax and also hang out together. Beds was very comfortable and bathrooms were all updated and new. We loved being so close to the venue and Kerri was so accommodating to all of us staying there. Cannot recommend enough!!!

My group loved our stay at Alan and Cara’s place for the Sheep & Wool festival. Great space for a large group; we especially loved how comfortable the living room couches were and how there was space for everyone there to gather. The place was immaculately clean. We’d love to come back again!

Anne's place was hands down one of the greatest Airbnb experiences my wife and I ever had. We stayed here a few nights for our 1 year anniversary. After staying with Anne, it made us serverely rethink our choices of future Airbnb's. It was just so much more intimate and chill than what we are use to. The attention to detail was far more noticeable than others, and it wasn't necessarily super extravagant. But you can tell everything was intentional. And the provided breakfast were neat, and delicious. We would love to come back here because it's such a great value.

Kim was very proactive sending instructions prior to the trip. The house itself had a marvelous charm with lots of vintage goodies. I appreciated all the items Kim had stocked in her kitchen to make up for some things I had not thought of to pack. The private property was great including many little surprises to may the stay even more enjoyable.

We stayed at Sue's place for a long weekend in January and had a wonderful time. Sue was always available and very responsive. Check in was easy and the house was very clean when we arrived. We cooked all of our meals at the house and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was a warm and inviting place to spend the the long weekend - we look forward to coming back!

We had a great stay. Home was clean and as photographed, and kitchen was well stocked for our large group.

Really enjoyed my stay. Great amount of space, rooms were large with lots of storage. Cute kitchen with all the necessities. Close to shops and restaurants. Diane responded quickly with any questions we had and was super friendly.

Diane’s place was beautiful with a unique charm. She had lots of antiques and old photographs that were fun to look at. The kitchen and bathroom were newly refinished and very nice. The only downfall for us was the size of the bed. It is on the smaller side which made it uncomfortable to sleep in. Other than the bed I highly recommend Dianne’s apartment!

I absolutely love this little cottage. This is our second time staying. It is very cozy, perfect for a couple for the weekend. The property is very quiet and peaceful with the brook running right past the back of the cottage. It is an easy walk into the center of town and the strip with various stores, restaurants, and bars. The cottage was clean, neat, and had all basic necessities. Panxi and Diana are great hosts, available for questions. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend this booking.

Orna was so welcoming and easy to communicate with. The apartment is cozy and well appointed. We were visiting our daughter and family for Thanksgiving. They recently moved to Kingston . Great location! This would not affect most people, but my 90 year “young” dad was with us, so the old fashioned tub/shower was a bit of a hazard for him. Really a gem of a place if you are traveling through or visiting loved ones in Kingston.

This place was absolutely lovely—charming, cozy, and ideally located right in the center of town. It’s just a short walk to all the best restaurants and shops, making it a great spot to explore. The home itself has a lovely antique feel while still being very comfortable. Ellen was an incredible host. She was responsive, available, and truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right. Highly recommend!

Doris was an amazing host who went above and beyond in making the stay both comfortable and convenient! I would highly recommend her to anyone staying in the area!

This was a perfect location for our few days in Hudson. First off, everything we wanted to do was in walking distance and we always felt safe both during the day and at night. Even heard a local tell a couple heading to the train station to leave that she appreciated their visit to her town. The space was perfect for my wife and I. We loved sitting by the window and reading and then moving to the bed to watch sports on tv. The bathroom is cute and has plenty of room. Bed was comfortable and the towels were very nice! One of the best stocked AirBnbs we’ve stayed in and we would choose this location again as well as recommend it to friends and family.

Beautiful, relaxing getaway with friendly and helpful host. We truly enjoyed every moment in Diane's lovely home. The suite was spacious, comfortable, and full of amenities. We especially made time to enjoy the covered deck and pool, which were as wonderful as we hoped. The continental breakfast was incredibly helpful for getting our days started. Close to many restaurants, hikes, and lovely Hudson Valley towns. We would return in a heartbeat.

Incredible place to stay! Had enormous cozy living room, bedroom, and bathroom to ourselves that was perfectly furnished with interesting farmhouse style decor. Bedroom and bathroom were clean, coffee and tea in the living room and games/books, and the best part was the outdoor space - lovely big backyard with lots of outdoor seating, cedar hottub (shared with other guests but no problem there!) and swimmable creek (enjoyed cold plunge -> hot tub in late Oct). Leaves were beautiful this time of year, easy 5-min bike ride to the O&W rail trail, and 10 min drive to Kingston and close to Woodstock too - Sarah gave great food recs. Can't wait to come back.

Great location and well run and put together. Staying again and will do so in the future. Highly recommend.

This is an excellent choice for anyone visiting the Hyde Park area. Best to rent a car once you’re there, but it’s very close to many great attractions. Troy’s home is beautiful and clean, with a lot of great amenities. He also provides great local information and he prepares a wonderful breakfast. Highly recommend.

Susan is a wonderful host and a very lovely person! We had a very nice time staying at Susan's place! It was very warmly feeling to get a delicious breakfast made by Susan, and we especially loved the apple cobbler made by Susan. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality :). We would love to come to your place again!

Catalpa House is exactly what you want in a small town retreat; comfortable bedding, well chosen amenities, superb breakfast, accommodating but not intrusive hosts, lovely common areas with local literature and current periodicals. It doesn't get better.

We had a wonderful experience staying here! Tina was incredibly welcoming and even provided us with a complimentary breakfast, which was a really thoughtful touch. We also really appreciated the great selection of books and board games—it made the stay feel even more like home. Everything was exactly as described, and the stay was quiet and relaxing. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cozy and well-kept place to stay. Highly recommend and we’re looking forward to visiting again!
