This was a perfect two night getaway with our family. The house is very clean. The views are beautiful. There are lots of things to do in the area not far from the house. We enjoyed taking the short path to the brewery for a couple of meals. The food is great! We sat by the fire and soaked in the hot tub. Martha’s instructions were very easy to follow to check in and checkout. She was very responsive. We appreciate that she also offered plenty of suggestions for things to do in the area. Susanne is a caring & friendly hostess. So happy we lucked into this special place, thankful there was a cancellation. It was perfect for our group as was the location. No detail was left undone from the well appointed kitchen to the comfortable beds. Tranquil. Felt like home. Looking forward to returning.

We had an excellent stay at the Avon Home. The host was responsive and flexible when it came to our arrival. The house was great for our event, and easily fit our party with comfort. I would recommend this house to anyone who is looking for a weekend getaway in Charlottesville that is easily walkable to the Downtown Mall, restaurants and breweries.

This home was perfect for my husband and I and our two toddlers when we were in Charlottesville for a family wedding. Rick and Emily were very accommodating and helpful, and my kids loved the playroom! Can't recommend this home enough if you're traveling to Charlottesville with young children.

Such a cute and serene place. Patricia was accommodating to our schedule and welcomed us when we arrived. We enjoyed our time there and will definitely book again when we are in the area.

We had a great stay at the Critzer House. It was just as described and perfect for our two families of four. Plenty of room for all of us to hang out together or retreat to separate spaces for some quiet time. The sunroom was great for starting the day with coffee and finishing with adult beverages. The location was ideal...30 minutes or less to incredible hikes, breweries, wineries, and distilleries. Easy walk to Blue Mountain Brewery for dinner after a long day exploring the beautiful surrounding area.

Sarah couldn’t have been a better host. She’s so nice, accommodating, and understanding. She had the place clean as a whistle and is very responsive. Lots of space, comfortable beds, peaceful surroundings. There are lots of bathrooms, too and privacy. She was the best!

We enjoyed our stay. There are a lot of steps. I had assumed (which I should not have) that the pool was going to be right outside of the main house. It was not. The main house is upstairs. There was, however, a pool house with a kitchen right next to the pool. Otherwise everything was comfortable and our family had a good time.

we really enjoyed the historic setting, the fantastic location near downtown activities, and wonderful historic neighborhood to walk around. the lodging was very comfortable and quiet. whenever we come back to Charlottesville, this is the place we would choose.

Great location on the downtown mall. Host was accommodating, helpful, & instructions were clear. Beautiful windows and architecturally interesting apartment. Fireplace created ambience & warmth; much appreciated during January's frigid temps. Note that it's a walk up apartment. Secure and comfy accommodations. Hope to return!

We had a great time at Tara & Mark's. It was as good as advertised and we really enjoyed the comfortable and clean space, and the beautiful surroundings outside.

This place was fabulous. It was on a quiet street in a safe, well-lit neighborhood. It was just a 4 minute walk to the Downtown Mall, with many easy to find restaurants, bars, bookstores, coffee shops, and a movie theatre! The space was perfect, with plenty of towels/linens, comfortable beds, a large closet, easy to use wi-fi, powerful ACs, and multiple desks, which I used to do a little school work. It was also quite charming with dozens of books on the shelves, eclectic art/decorations, as well as local, tea, coffee, and bread for you to enjoy. I highly recommend Genevieve’s home and will definitely stay again the next time I’m in C’ville!

The Studio was a perfect weekend getaway stay! Kalin was a very responsive host and checked in to ensure everything was going well. I would absolutely stay here again!

Great stay! It was great bringing our pet on our snowboarding trip. Plenty of room and pet friendly in suite 1. Great location for local breweries, hiking, and snow sports. The bed was super comfy! Would definitely stay again!
