This place is a gem and I would HIGHLY recommend it to anyone (individual, couple, family with kids). It is a newly built space, that is impeccably clean, has all the amenities and a responsive host who was quick to answer any questions (including to help us identify wildlife we had seen). The kitchen has all the goodies you could need and the peaceful surroundings were one of the most memorable parts of our entire trip. If you want to sit in a lovely hot tub and enjoy an incredible sky with no neighbors or annoying lights - this is the place!

We stayed with Joanne and Bill in the spring of 2021 and knew we had to go back some day. We got married last week and stayed again for our honeymoon. The property is the most unique and artistic we've ever booked, and the hosts are an inspiring and welcoming couple, making a beautiful life in the middle of nowhere. See Mesa Verde. See Hovenweep. See Canyon of the Ancients. We can't recommend this stay enough.

I cannot say enough great things about this place. I've stayed at numerous places in Colorado over my lifetime, and this one has to be the best. The location was ideal for us, and the place was fantastic. The views, the huge deck with an amazing hot tub, the spacious living area with enough seating for all 6 of us (and then some), the most amazingly stocked kitchen of any rental - the list goes on and on. The entire host team responded quickly and gave us local recommendations, as well. My father-in-law is already talking about bringing the grandkids next year! My dad told me several times a day what a great find I made. We all loved it so much and can't wait to return! Thanks for a great week!

We loved Dan's hilltop hideaway! We had everything we needed and more. The location was superb and we were lucky enough to get snow, just enough to be really beautiful. We loved exploring the grounds and playing disc golf. Thanks for everything Dan, one of our favourite AirBnB experiences.

I loved the privacy and the accommodations were perfect. Im from Tucson with no grass in my yard, so my dog was in high heaven exploring the yard. I liked that the yard was not too large. Just right for my pup.
