Great place to stay, just wish I had more time to enjoy and to share with others. Next time I'm gonna plan better and bring some family and friends to share Trempeleau, the river, the music, the trails, and all the hospitality that it offers.

My wife and kids stayed the night. Great value for the price, owners are friendly and communicate very well.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Carriage House. Hidden away in the woods made this place feel very peaceful and cozy. Loved the use of recycled barn wood throughout. This was definitely one of our favorite stays.

Excellent stay at Connie's Eagle's Nest cabin in April of 2025. Location is very private yet located within upbeat community of homestead type residences on Maple Dale Road. We were the first guests to stay this season I think, and Connie was prompt and helpful taking care of a couple things that we had questions about. If you have a 2wd vehicle you need some courage and will to get up the driveway here, and the sleeping lofts are also somewhat hard to move in and out of. That said, I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Eagle's Nest. Thank you Connie for providing good value to travelers to Viroqua and the Driftless

This has to be one of my favourite AirBnBs I have stayed in across the USA and Europe. Jackie’s place was perfectly located, close to the lake and 2 minutes walk from Willy St for shops and restaurants. A very private setting in the backyard of their main house, with off road parking. Everything was beautiful, with high end furnishings, crockery, bedding etc., and an especially comfortable bed and sofa bed. And such a thoughtful welcome gift of local cheeses, crackers, chocolates, nuts, fruit and beer!Yes there are cheaper places in Madison, but this is perfect proof that you get what you pay for and it was worth every penny. Thank you Jackie for making mine and my Mum’s stay in Madison so comfortable! We hope to be able to return one day!

The Acorn Cabin was the perfect overnight spot for our trip to Iowa’s Driftless Area. Kim and Mike are wonderful hosts, and we enjoyed our visits with them over our four night stay. The cabin is full of little details that immediately made us feel at home, and we looked forward to returning there after days spent exploring the beautiful surroundings! Be sure to watch the DVD about the Driftless Area that’s in the upstairs bedroom to gain an appreciation for the area. Decorah has small town charm with plenty of restaurant options…thanks to our hosts for some great recommendations! Last, but certainly not least, we loved having the Icelandic sheep right outside and enjoyed learning about them. Sleep came easy with the sound of their “baas”through the open windows. We’ll definitely be back for a return stay at the Acorn Cabin❤️

It’s always the people you meet that make the difference! Lynda and Nick’s place was perfect for what we needed. Just out of Hayward in a beautiful forest, with wonderful hosts to go with the private cottage on their property. To start, we had great communication and very clear instructions. On arrival we found everything as expected from the description on the site. From the easy access, great internet, close parking, excellent cleanliness, quality amenities in the bathroom and kitchen, comfy beds and a collection of treats from their daughter’s bakery (amazingly good). We were there for a ski race and while many people at other locations waxed outside, we waxed in comfort in Nick’s shop (which he prepared in advance for us, so we would be warm). Thanks Nick! Nice place, with world class hosts. We will be back!

Would definitely come back. It was the perfect relaxing vacation that we needed. We felt comfortable and really enjoyed the deck and fire pit.

This place is so charming, very walkable to Main Street McGregor and with beautiful river views. Loved the unique wallpapers and cheerful kitchen, and the antique touches! Three different dining places to sit down and eat or enjoy a cup of coffee :)The host was really friendly and responsive, with clear and easy instructions. Lots of stairs and an occasional train horn keep you on your toes - overall we made great memories in this lovely historic building!!

Becky’s place was perfect for my husband, myself and our two dogs. We are so grateful that she allows dogs. While it could accommodate 4 people, I am glad it was just us. Shearing the space with another couple might have been a little awkward since there is no door on the bedroom. We really enjoyed our stay. The view of the lake is very pretty and has a big yard. I am sure this place is amazing in the summer, perfect for a family of four. We are very grateful for our time there and would recommend it to everyone.

My husband & I stayed for a week. Great location, great amenities, loved that they were dog friendly. This lakeside cabin provided incredible views. Very peaceful. Penny & Curt were great hosts, we will definitely return,

Mary is so kind and such a gracious host! She was always willing to help with the amenities during our stay! She also knows the area very well and was quick with a recommendation for things in the area!

The bunkhouse was just what I was looking for. A quiet private space in beautiful natural surroundings. Rustic luxury. An opportunity to get off the grid and escape the distractions of modern living. I would love to return when the prairie is in bloom. It is apparent that the land is being tended with great care. Loved my stay.

We had a great long weekend at Courtney's cottage. It had everything we needed and was very comfortable! We could walk to most places, which is what we wanted. The private outdoor space was perfect for the evenings, to sit and swing and look at the stars, also very quiet. We are excited to come back and stay! We didn't see everything we wanted to on this visit. We had perfect weather, too, for the end of September.

It was such a lovely little space! Had a great time checking out the area with my friends and although we had a little bit of internet issues, they were resolved quickly! Lovely stay 100/10 recommend!!

My wife and I had a wonderful weekend stay and Kelly was a terrific host! Kelly was super helpful and flexible with check-in when our plans changed due to a snow storm. The location was great as we went skiing at Granite Peak which was a short 30-40 min drive away. Kelly also gave a great post skiing dinner recommendation we loved!! The space was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed to warm up from a snow storm. They even shoveled and salted the parking space, walkway and stairs which was a very thoughtful touch! Overall we highly recommend staying with Kelly and would absolutely consider staying here again in the near future!

The Bunkhouse was a perfect, quiet, comfortable space. I love the interior - an artistically built space with lots of unique charm. I have stayed here before and will definitely stay again!

Our stay at The Honey Haven was perfect! Very clean and peaceful home and property. All the comforts of home. Host were accommodating and quick to respond to request. Would recommend to anyone wanting a relaxing getaway.

Driving up the long driveway to this beautiful home was so wonderful! Everything in the photos was spot on and it was so wonderful to see the place in person. The College Loft was perfect. Clean, inviting, cozy and comfortable. The bed was amazing not just the mattress but the pillows and comforter as well. Decorah is a lovely and quaint town with so many wonderful restaurants, bars, coffee shops, hiking trails and a wonderful farmers market we were able to attend Saturday morning. Amanda and her family were so warm and friendly. This is definitely on our list to come back in 2025 and spend more time and know we will be in a cozy and inviting place.
