We had a lovely stay at Ann’s house. We arrived to a generous welcome packet of essentials and snacks and two lovely bottles of Prosecco. The house is old with lots of character but the facilities are modern and work well. We stayed at the end of April but the pool was heated for us and we used it every day, we were thankful for the hot tub to warm up on the more overcast days! The kitchen is wonderfully stocked with plates and glasses for entertaining and the Aga and bbq worked well. If you have small children I would recommend bringing plastic crockery as there wasn’t much of that. We would definitely look to come back if we are in the area.

Just had a fantastic stay here - it's a beautifully presented shepherd's hut surrounded by rolling green. Host communication was great, and we found the hut to have everything we needed. The bed is comfy, the shower is great, and there is a functional kitchen. There are a couple of bbqs and a swim spa (a very large hot tub), making it easy to relax if you don't fancy going out. If you do want to go out, you can walk to local pubs or to Heale Gardens, which is lovely. I imagine most would come here by car but it is possible to train into Salisbury and get a taxi, as we did. All in all, we couldn't recommend this place enough - it's fantastic and I think we'll try and make it a yearly occurrence.

A clean and well equipped house with plenty of space for the family. The views looking over the lake are stunning, whether just sitting or in the hot tub. Plenty to do with the kids and onsite bistro is good quality and reasonably priced. The Spa and swimming pool is excellent. A great place to stay for a long weekend.

We’ve just returned from 2 nights here and we’re very sad to be leaving! The pod has everything you need for a comfortable stay and has clearly been well thought out. The spot is very private and incredibly peaceful. The huge secure garden / field was absolutely perfect for our dog - she loved it. Lots of lovely footpaths nearby to explore too. Can’t wait to return!

Absolutely perfect place for a family celebration. The house was amazing with nothing lacking. The hot tub was enjoyed by all & the Lakeside Restaurant was so close & served delicious food. The views down the lake were stunning 😍 We would definitely recommend this home for a long weekend or a week's holiday as there is so much to do in the area. Great communication from Orion - loved it!!

We had a fab 3 nights in the Safari Tent. It was clean and was exactly as described. The instructions for lighting the stove were very handy. Mel was a great host and responded to any queries we had. We will defo be booking again.

Absolutely brilliant place. Nicola was a fantastic host. Breakfast was a lovely touch and very appreciated. Would highly recommend to anyone ! And the hot tub was a brilliant facility to have :) Would 100% stay again !!!

The amenities, dining facilities and seating arrangements were absolutely perfect for four couples. Amazing views of the lake from the master bedroom, patio and lounge. We all loved it!

We spent a lovely Christmas here as a family of four with our dog pepper. Lovely decor, amenities, kitchen full of everything you need, lots of games for us to play. Great location, lots of fab dog walks, great shops nearby - overall a fantastic stay!

A lovely stay for a family birthday. The place is charming and Victoria is a great host. The house feels incredibly homely and the decorations are lovely. The kitchen was definitely are favourite- and easy to cook a lovely roast in there! Would happily host another family event there in the future

Just wonderful. Look no further. So cozy and so clean and so luxurious. The hamper was incredible. We left very early to see the winter solstice at Stonehenge. Perfect location. We will be back. We had such a wonderful stay, so much so we didn’t want to leave. Hilary was such a welcoming host and the cottage was so beautiful. Our whole family loved the cottage and we definitely want to come back. There’s so much to do in the area too. There’s lots of toys at the cottage for kids, including bath toys and a really cute outdoor kids dining table. Once the kids were in bed it was also so lovely and cosy for the adults. The pianos were also a great touch, we loved playing them and teaching the kids how to play. We would recommend the stay to everyone.

An absolute gem, nestled in a beautiful quiet village within easy reach of the pretty towns of Bath and Bradford on Avon. Very well equipped with lots of personal touches which made it extra special .

What a beautiful stay we had, the lodge was clean, welcoming and cozy. We felt at home straight away. It was just so Peaceful and there's something extremely relaxing hearing the animal sounds around you. Definitely a place to come to unwind. We got here just fine and If you follow Tony's directions you will find the location no problem. We love the natural wood look at the lodge, the beds are really comfy and coming with bedding and towels is a massive plus, saves all that extra luggage. Not to mention the little package on the table. Thank you 😁 We loved the animals so much! The horses are adorable! They always come over to you for some love and the horse with one eye is such an attention seeker so so adorable. All the animals are so friendly and very welcoming. I'll miss the horses 😁 also tony popped by to say hi which was lovely with his 2 dogs one of which would visit daily as if he's checking you are alright 😂 thank you Tony and the animals for letting us share your home ❤️

We loved our stay at Duck Cottage. The location is beautiful and the animal neighbours are very friendly. The cottage is well equipped and Tors left lovely bread and fresh eggs and cereals for our breakfast. We enjoyed being a short drive from Hungerford with its antiques shops and cafes, which we explored. We were also just 30 mins from Highclere Castle, which was the main purpose of our trip. We would definitely recommend Duck Cottage.

My dog and me had a great stay at this lovely little cottage. Colette was extremely helpful with providing us lots of useful information as well as being very understanding when it came to the quirks with bringing a dog. Once again thank you very much for the lovely stay!

We were looking for a comfortable home big enough for 3 generations to celebrate the Christmas week. With 26 Clearwater, we found it! Lovely location, quiet, with great amenities - enjoyed the heated outdoor pool on Xmas eve! Great walks around the lakes that Max our dog really appreciated. The house is beautifully appointed with a good sized and very well equipped open plan kitchen / dining room / living room on the first floor overlooking the lake. As we "self catered" throughout, this allowed us all to participate in the cooking without feeling left out whilst the other family activities were going on. Talking of which, you will never be short of board games as the house is extremely well equipped with such things. Naomi promised that the house would be decorated for Christmas and indeed it was, with a full sized tree, amongst other garlands and decorations, so Santa was able to get down the lovely log burner and deliver for Christmas! Lovely place right on the water. Looks better than the photos. Had everything we needed in a great location with access to pool and with onsite restaurant and little shop. Perfect for a get away would come again

Stayed for 4 nights during the Easter holidays, very reasonably priced compared to booking through the Hoburne website. The chalet is well located with a lovely view of the lake. It was very well equipped with everything you need we cook - which we did most days. The site is perfect for families, a new soft play and swimming pool which my kids loved, also sauna/steam room included as a bonus. Mick was very responsive and we were able to check in slightly earlier which was appreciated. Would definitely recommend and will be booking this place again for our next stay in the Cotswolds.

Great home and in a spectacular location. A really escape and space for my family of 5 for the week. Great communication with Elena throughout and during slight issue with A/C but resolved. Would absolutely stay again. This was our first time in the Cotswolds and was a perfect central location for exploring the surrounding area.

We had a very lovely weekend at Castleford Cottage. Tim and Rosane were very responsive and helpful - they also got us a new BBQ promptly which was really appreciated. The cottage is very quiet and the surrounding area is beautiful for walking or running. Nice heated pool as well although it can get very crowded with kids during the day. Overall a very good and fun weekend out of London!!
