This was my family's second stay, and we hope to return in the autumn season! All of the furniture and linens are so comfortable! The bathroom is nice and very large. The kitchen amenities and eating areas inside and outside are welcoming. Must experience activities include swinging on the front porch with a cup of coffee and a visit to the farm store across the street!

Laurel Mountain is a sanctuary! The setting is both wooded and pastoral, with stunning mountain views on one side and green pastures on the other. The lux cabin is spotless and beautifully appointed with thoughtful amenities like bath salts, blankets for chilly nights, etc. It’s perfect for a couple’s getaway or for a single person to retreat and rejuvenate. The location is a tad remote for some people and the roads are winding. But for us, that added to the ambiance. The host and her husband could not have been more responsive to the one small issue we had (which was that the pilot went out on the gas fireplace) and it was an easy fix. The cabin is located in Leatherwood Mountains resort and there’s riding and a nice restaurant on site. We highly recommend this cabin and hope to return again.

The Twilight Cabin was a great place to stay for our weekend trip to Boone and Blowing Rock! The house was about a five minute drive down a gravel road coming from the South, which required some careful maneuvering, but was easy to find right off the side of the road. Located right around 45 minutes from town and an hour from Grandfather mountain, the location provided privacy and quiet while still being an easy trip to nearby destinations. The downstairs bed was comfortable and the downstairs shower had great water pressure and temperature control. No cell reception, but good WIFI allowed easy phone use. Would also recommend Happy Valley Filling station right on the way to the house for pizza and beers!

We booked this place last minute for our family of 9. The Host responded to our request quickly. The house was perfect for all of us to relax and rest, we had plenty of room to all be together in the main living room and open kitchen. The bedrooms were accommodating for sleeping arrangements. The house is tastefully decorated and well maintained. We would definitely book this house again.

Great location about 10 minutes from west Jefferson and 30 minutes to North Wilkesboro. Plenty for kids and adults alike! The added security of the gate was really nice! I would definitely suggest this location to anyone traveling to that area!

Terrific space, overall, and perfect for our needs. We arrived after dark but had no trouble finding the home or getting inside. Brenna’s thorough, thoughtful communication was greatly appreciated before our arrival and during our visit. We look forward to staying again in the future!

What a beautiful house! We had a group of 5 and everyone had room to spread out and have some privacy, but there were also several areas to gather. We favored the sunroom so that we could watch the horse and pig while we chatted. The outside area was green and lush. Everything was just lovely and so comfortable. Karen created a beautiful space with lots of little extra touches to make it feel homey. We will definitely keep this on our list of favorites if we come through again!

The place was private and peaceful. Nice to sit out on the porch with our guitars. Very thoughtful furnishings and amenities.

Great new Airbnb in beautiful West Jefferson. The space is so tastefully decorated with great use of space. Very close to charming downtown. Cari even left us a gift card for Blue Deer which was just across the street!

This bottom floor apartment was in a gorgeous, quiet neighborhood that was close to all the West Jefferson places we like to visit. It was clean and organized. I loved the little “extra thoughtful amenities” that were available if you forgot things from home. My favorite part was sitting on the porch drinking coffee relaxing while two hummingbirds hovered for a minute.

This was perfect for us and our dogs while staying in the area for a wedding. The view is absolutely amazing and the apartment was cozy. Morgan really pays attention to detail and all of the usual things that may be forgotten while packing, she had in the airbnb available. I was pleasantly surprised! One thing to note is that the apartment is located below their family’s home, and it can be loud at times as you can hear every footstep/movement upstairs, however, it didn’t really bother us in particular as we live in a duplex and are used to it. It did not keep us up or interfere with our experience. We really felt at home here and would definitely return. Thank you, Morgan!

Kathy and Jim were superb host who made us feel at home!! Kathy stayed in touch with us throughout the stay and made sure we had everything we needed. She also let us know about places to eat and visit. They were GREAT, even offered to drop us off and pick us up from the Wedding Venue we attended because I was a little nervous to drive on snow and ice. Everything was neat and very clean with your everyday items a person needs when you stay away from home. (Kitchen and Coffee Bar were fully stocked). We would highly recommend this venue and the host. Perfect place to stay in JEFFERSON, NC.

Andi has a lovely, WELL APPOINTED place. She has thought of absolutely everything to give you a beautifully private place. We made our reservation very last minute in order to attend church in West Jefferson NC. There are tons of road detours due to the flood in Western NC and her written directions were perfect. Thank you for being what Air B&B is ALL ABOUT. Please, don’t let a share walkthrough garage entrance deter you…there is complete privacy and a safe location. It is a remote area and Andi has great coffee, tea and creamers available…and some bottle water. Super thoughtful…the outdoor area is wonderful

We were thrilled with our 4-night stay on Revelation Ridge! The house was clean and beautifully decorated, the kitchen had everything we needed and the view was absolutely spectacular. We spent lots of time out on the deck. It is a 16 minute ride up the mountain road, but well worth the drive. Daniela was very responsive to our questions and provided clear check-in and check-out instructions, as well as driving directions. It was a beautiful and peaceful place to get away!

This place was beyond relaxing and breath taking views! My fiancée and I had an amazing time and we felt right at home and were able to recharge and relax.

A friend and I stayed for a long weekend while attending MerleFest. 30-40 minutes commute to the festival, but very easy. Went to West Jefferson one morning for lunch and shopping. The cabin was just as described. Would love to go back with my husband when the Rhododendron are blooming. So peaceful and beautiful.

I can’t say how much we loved staying at Paul’s place for our anniversary. The creek was my favorite part. So soothing and just peaceful. Plus, I twisted my ankle while we were there and I put it in the creek and it helped it feel so much better! The most well stocked cabin we’ve ever stay in. Just lovely. We will def be back!

The house is cute, the hot tub is a big plus. The home is smaller than I expected from the pics, which was fine - the only things that may need consideration for whatever type of group you're traveling with - the upstairs bedrooms share a wall. we could fairly clearly hear our friends talking at a normal pitch in the other room. - there's one bathroom upstairs & 1 downstairs, so each room "technically" has its own bathroom, but neither in the room Don't forget toiletries! we've apparently all gotten spoiled bc 1 person brought body wash & that's all we had. That's not a knock on the property - I don't think they listed that amenity, it's just so a relatively common one, so important to know. wilkesboro & west Jefferson are both about ~30ish min away, so location is great. trash drop off was easy. hosts were responsive, but we didn't really need anything, which is also a plus.

Beautiful and peaceful serene location and accommodating host ! Will definitely return when in the area again! Highly recommend!

Don't know where to get started on this review, there are just too many good things to say here. From the waterfall to the fire pit and The incredible decks overlooking the stream, this place is out of a storybook. Simply put, we had a wonderful stay at John's place! John and Kim are great host and very responsive. I can't say enough about how peaceful and tranquil the property is With more than enough room for any outdoor activities. Very, very satisfied! there's a few notes to add for anyone planning on booking this place... There's very limited cabinet space for keeping kitchen stock / groceries so we had to use counter space for storage but that was small potatoes. Also the road coming in is quite treacherous (at least from a city person's perspective)so be prepared to take extreme caution and avoid driving close to the shoulder. Not complaining and is absolutely worth the drive, Just take it nice and slow and you should be fine.

Our short trip was amazing. Check-in and Check-out was a breeze and even got accomodation with the trash logistics. The views from the balcony were amazing and it's relatively close to major activities in West Jefferson and Boone. Definitely make a trip to the "Swinging Bridge"

Absolutely loved the cabin and will definitely try to book again when we return to West Jefferson. It was just the two of us so the cabin was spacious and cozy at the same time. Gas fireplace added a special touch in the cool nights. We were close enough to downtown where we had dinner the first night and had a full kitchen to make dinner the next night. We had planned to hike mount jefferson so it was super convenient. Watch about two dozen deer pass through over coffee in the morning. Comfy bed and super easy checkout. Highly recommend!!!
