My partner, young kids and I had the most wonderful Easter break at Vikki's place. We really appreciated the super calm and understated luxury vibe to the home and all the attention to detail that had gone into creating such a welcoming and well-thought out space. The cottage is TARDIS like with the traditional frontage giving no clue to all the airy space and mod cons inside. The location was also very special: a stone's-throw from the beaches. attractions and shop for essential in a lovely car-free street but with parking very close by. Check-in and check out were streamlined and Vikki was such a kind and thoughtful host leaving us basics in the fridge together with some local sweet treats; very welcome after a very long drive up. She was also really accommodating in allowing us a later check-out. Thank you so much Vikki for sharing your amazing home with us and we hope to get the chance to enjoy it again next time we are up!

Very cosy home. Plenty of room, very comfortable sofas and bed. Lovely touch of fresh bread, croissants, milk and fruit. Instructions for TV etc were very clear and recommendations of where to eat were very helpful. The house was very near the beach area and also the Metro to Newcastle. We would definitely recommend this home for anyone visiting the area.

Another great stay here. This is the second time we have stayed here and will be the place we will continually book when we visit family. Clean and tidy. Minutes from the beach. Can't wait to return.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Newbiggin. The house is a great base to explore the north east and we had days out to Bamburgh castle, Alnwick castle, Cragside, Lindesfarne and Newcastle. There is so much to explore in that area - our kids didn’t want to leave! The house was spacious, exceptionally clean, very comfortable and well equipped. Nikki communicated promptly and personally and was a great host. The house was a 5 minute walk from the beach and there was a superb chippy nearby (the Front) which was so good we went twice! It was a bonus to have an overnight electric car charge point at the end of the road. Thank you - I imagine we will return!

We had a wonderful stay at Joannes home! It is so perfectly located to do all we wanted to - seaglass hunting!! Huge benefit to have the parking spot on the front drive. Also huge bonus to be in walking distance to ammenities - asda, pharmacy, home shops and food outlets. Everything we needed was here - a home away from home. The tea/cake/milk was a kind touch. Comfy, clean bright airy base. Comfy sofa and bed. Really well decorated and maintained, lovely colour schemes and accents - nothing has been overlooked. Joanne was an attentive host with friendly communication. Wouldn't hesitate to come back if we are ever up North again. Thank you so much!

We had a brilliant stay here, and a great experience communicating with Raymond - especially as our booking was last minute due to change of circumstances. He was super efficient and very helpful, which was much appreciated. Thoroughly recommend, and perfectly positioned for all the brilliant amenities this part of the North East has to offer.

Immaculately clean home. very helpful host "Elizabeth"...perfect having 2 very large bathrooms. Very well equipped..location was very good, with super markets & Restaurants close by...would definitely book again. Thanks Liz 😊

Laura was great answered all questions before and after booking. The caravan was lovely and modern. Nice size and was a winner to see the Yorkshire tea bag amongst other essentials on arrival. The little dishwasher was great to have too. Would defo use again. Thanks Laura :)

Love this place, right by the beach, and a beautiful beach too. The host was so responsive and helpful from start to finish. The place was immaculately clean, just as described, lovely and warm with all the utensils and appliances working exactly as they should. Easy to walk to town, with a Co-Op and pubs and restaurants there. Shower pretty good too. Family bathroom and a small but useful en-suite to the main bedroom

We had a wonderful stay at Bella’s Beach House. It was just the two of us staying but the house is large and can accommodate families. It has a beautiful large garden and brand new furniture and mattresses/bedding and we had a great night sleep. The property is also beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable. The hosts are very responsive but we had no issues during our stay. There is so much to do in the area and we shall certainly return. It is across the road from the seafront and a lovely Cafe - Links Gallery with great Italian coffee and produce. There are facilities at the house to make breakfast (including a nice coffee machine) but we decided to walk and get a coffee and breakast at the Links and have a stroll on the beachfront after. Plenty of restaurants and places around to explore.

Stunning accommodation with some of the best views I’ve stayed in. Dolphins popping out the water in the morning and incredible sunsets. The house is so nice and warm that even after being in the ocean minutes earlier it was like a giant hug. Wonderful place

Lovely stay in Whitley Bay at Claire’s caravan. On the edge of the park closest to the sea so great views of the coast and lighthouse. We were lucky with the sunsets - they were beautiful! Recommended!

Rashida and Colin are a great team and made us feel very welcome. The annex accommodation around the courtyard garden was perfect for us and very comfortable for a 3 night stay. It's a nice touch having samples of Colin's photography on the wall. The metro and Aldi are both about 10 mins' walk away which was convenient for us to get the one stop to Tynemouth or longer trip into Newcastle. We'll definitely be back - many thanks.

We had a wonderful stay. Lyn was very responsive and answered all my questions before we arrived (e.g. checking about towels and parking etc) she was very helpful in letting us know when we could check in. The instructions were very clear and there's a very helpful book of tips on where to go and what to see. The house was very spacious, lots of storage and lovely and clean. Lots of nice little touches, baskets for use in the pantry, blankets for a cosy night in and biscuits! We will be looking to stay again!

Absolutely loved staying in this beautiful home. Felt very welcoming and it had everything we needed. Great beds, showers and a lovely comfy sofa we could all relax on! Weather was fab although too cold to use the lovely garden at all, it was great to see next doors beautiful blossom tree while we ate breakfast! Lovely hosts, very friendly, helpful and responsive. So easy to walk to Cullercoats, Tynemouth, and beaches along the coast as well as metro to Whitley Bay, Jesmond and Newcastle city centre. We had a lovely relaxing holiday! Thank you xx

Norma couldn’t be a better Airbnb hostess. Prompt,courteous responses, immaculate house, perfect location and lots of helpful information. We had exactly what we needed including information where to find everything. Thank you for the wine and biscuits. Her house is a stone’s throw from several restaurants and practically next door to a pub. I highly recommend staying here.

We enjoyed our stay in Low Hauxley very much. House was exactly as described. We picked it for the views and the space (conservatory, games room, big lounge and kitchen diner) and these didn’t disappoint. Also kitchen was extremely well equipped for 8 people making meals easy. Great beach only a few mins walk away was ideal for the kids and also easy to walk to Amble either along the coast or direct. Perfect for a relaxing long weekend with our family. We don’t live in the UK, but could easily see us coming back on a future visit.

Definitely recommend. Stayed 4 weeks over the summer. Excellent property, clean and modern. Central location to all amenities Blyth has to offer. Short drives to beautiful coastline. Small but private back yard to enjoy a drink in during summer evenings. Jason was a great host. Thanks.

Lovely house in Amble. Very clean and comfortable- everything we needed for our short break. The location was great, walkable into Amble and easy access to the local area such as Alnwick and the Northumbrian Coast. Have great stay all round.
