This was the perfect addition to my wedding weekend! Julie made it extra special with a welcome sign and bottle of champagne to great my guests and I! The place is absolutely stunning, so warm, cozy and just what we needed for a wedding stay with the bridal party. It surpassed my expectations and Julie and her partner were wonderful - we even had a tour and learned some history on the place. Can’t wait to come back !

La maison était très propre! La chambres des maîtres est immense et confortable. La douche de la salle de bain attenante est impressionnante. L’aménagement extérieur avec la piscine chauffée WOW. La vue sur la rivière des Outaouais est magnifique! Nous avons passé un agréable week-end dans votre maison. Je la recommande!

if your ever out in Carleton place they all say the Mississippi dripped off of Big Joe's face and also Scott has the best airbnb in the area! had a wonderful stay. went to Ottawa for the hockey playoffs and I had car trouble, Scott allowed me to use his truck since I had car trouble! absolutely above and beyond in all aspects. so generous and so thankful I stayed here. hot tub was so relaxing, and the loft style home is great for all -kids, guys, girls but is a gamers paradise especially if you grew up in the 80s and 90s! don't look further than Scotts place in Carleton place! I felt like family! 😆😊 incredibly thankful for Scott's generosity and I will be back anytime I'm out that way. This host and place shatters the 5 star scale just too bad we didn't win the game or would of been the perfect getaway. cheers Scott! you are the man!

This home was beautiful with a view to die for. Looking out on the frozen bay, playing pond hockey out there and coming back in to get warm by the fireplace and place some games with the family. It was a peaceful space for our family to spend some much needed time together. It’s so close to the Sens rink and avoids the commute out of the city. Absolutely beautiful area and a truly unique house with a master sanctuary and space for the kids upstairs! Can’t wait visit in warmer weather and make use of that incredible terrace patio with pool and beach!

We had a wonderful new years trip staying at this place with multiple families and young children. The property was enormous with lots of space to play in the snow, and the inside was clean and spacious. Kendra was very kind and helped us out with early check-in and late check out, and was quick to help us arrange a solution when we left things behind. We would highly recommend Calabogie House!

Thank you for sharing your lovely, well appointed, character home with us Renee! Our stay over the long weekend was everything we had hoped for. We had a busy time with two family events and really enjoyed returning to the house to relax and enjoy your amazing back yard. It is truly a peaceful oasis! The children loved the pool and the adults all welcomed the evening hot tub. The flower gardens and pots are stunning. Thanks also for the lovely welcome gifts. We were very spoiled! Rox nous a offert un service 5 étoiles ! Elle nous a accompagné a chaque étape et elle a veillé à ce que tout se passe bien pour nous :) Ce fut un super séjour en famille entouré de paysages verdoyants. Nous avons particulièrement aimé utiliser les barques et le paddle board, mais également le fire pit et les jeux de société pour grand et petits. Les pièces étaient toutes propres et les draps sentaient bons le propre ! Nous recommandons cette maison à 100%

This was one of the best cottages / Lake house we have ever stayed at. Very large. Clean and modern. The host left us small Christmas / new year gifts for the children. Great special touch. Very responsive and accommodating and inviting. Very high end and well stocked kitchen. Great for our large group. We had no issues of any kind. We had a great few days and will definitely be back at some point soon.

We had a great stay! We visited as a family of three, including a teenager, for a ski trip to Calabogie (about 30 minutes away). The game room and pool table were a big hit, and we loved relaxing on the comfy couch for movie nights. The place had everything we needed! The dining table was a bit small, but we made it work. A bonus was having a Tim Hortons nearby, and we highly recommend Chicken Palace—an absolute must for meals! The only downside was the beds, which were extremely firm—not ideal for everyone. Mattress toppers would be an easy fix! We would go back!

Had a wonderful time. Dave and Annette were amazing hosts...so many little touches, great detailed notes, and a welcoming and cozy place to relax.

Very serene, private location with a fabulous deck to immerse yourself in nature. The leaves were very colorful, and we saw a family of 4 deer in the front yard! What an experience! The cottage is a beautifully restored farm house with updated conveniences as well as some personalized rustic touches, for example the sink in the bathroom is magnificent, and the dining table is huge and hand crafted so food could be served at one end and our pre schooler could work on puzzles at the other end. We enjoyed several campfires where our grandson roasted marshmallows for the first time. The cottage was well decorated and furnished, and very comfortable, especially for a multi generation family; it was even equipped with "fairy lights" in an upstairs bedroom. We had such a great time enjoying new adventures every day. Thank you Victoria for sharing your lovely rural property. We definitely plan on returning next year. Rita's place was excellent - extremely comfortable for our group of six people, with lots of space and great accommodations. Everything needed was available, and Rita herself was a great communicator, providing clear instructions and answering all our questions. Her place is also absolutely beautiful - we would love to come back!

Our 4 party group had an amazing getaway at this charming cottage. The space was super cosy, with a central open space and large windows that offered direct views of the lake— so wonderful to wake up to. We also enjoyed the book collection and interesting art. Just a quick tip for future guests: if you're visiting in winter, make sure you have a 4WD vehicle—the last slope can be quite steep. Despite the host living on the first level, it felt super intimate. We were grateful for his quick responses and consideration of our requirements throughout our stay. All in all, we had an incredible time at this chalet and would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat! Thanks Karl

The house was spacious and open, very clean with all amenities. The robes were a nice touch. We enjoyed the deer coming out to feed in the back field almost nightly around 7:00 PM and saw lots of turkey in the mid-morning. Such a peaceful place to stay with a Metro grocery store less than 15 minutes away. We have and will continue to recommend to our friends and family to stay here for any upcoming get-aways they may be planning. Thank you for providing your home. The memories made there will last a lifetime!

We had a great time, everything was exactly as advertised. The place was very clean, comfortable and spacious. There’s a nice deck and a fire pit outside. We enjoyed using the kayak and paddle board, the water was nice with a beautiful view. I would definitely recommend staying here and we look forward to returning next summer.

A beautiful cottage on a pristine lake. Beautiful spacious well equipped deck overlooking a swimable sandy beach front. You can walk out into the lake in what seems to be forever enjoying a sandy bottom - no weeds, no rocks!! Comfy fire pit and bbq conveniently located near the beach. Cottage was bright, open concept with a modern kitchen, great appliances and expansive dining room table for great gatherings and game nights. Three comfy bedrooms and clean washroom. Great communication with Tania. Very responsive. Will definitely consider returning next summer. Thoroughly enjoyed our week at the cottage.

Great stay in Burnstown. Lovely home , with a great space on the main floor for our family get together. Kitchen was well laid out and well equiped for cooking!

Love staying here! The host" Craig" is wonderful! He is very responsive with any questions! Very easy to find the place . We also love his gazebo looking over the corn feilds. Look forward to next time!
