Samantha was wonderful and the house and location is really perfect. its setting is so nice and quiet, and the house is set up perfect for a family with a great game room upstairs and tons of games. We spent thanksgiving there with our family and the house had everything you could need for cooking for sure. It was perfect. We look forward to coming back in the summer to enjoy the outdoors more. Waking up every day and going out on the dock to feed the three swans was really cool. We'll be back.

The house exceeded my expectations.Beautiful scenery with the Potomac river right in your backyard where you can find a hot tub facing the most gorgeous view. The house was modern with a homey feel,all necessities were stocked such as toiletries,kitchen appliances and towels. The host was very helpful and communicative. I really appreciated the comfortable beds,tv’s in each room and full washer and dryer. The games in the basement were also a nice touch. There’s a cute little town nearby called Colonial beach with amazing restaurants, I would recommend the Thai restaurant. Overall I was very happy with the house,the host and the full experience. I will definitely be back next time I’m in the area.

Thank you to John for a lovely stay at The River House! We enjoyed a gorgeous sunny sunset happy hour on the tiki bar dock and moody views of fog and mist rolling over the water all in one weekend. John’s place is clean, comfortable, and cozy. We had everything we could possibly need for a weekend of quiet, beauty, and relaxation. Can’t wait to come back!

I’ve stayed at a lot of Airbnb’s and this was easily one of the best. Everything was exactly as described, and maybe even better than described. It had tons of amenities and a well stocked kitchen perfect for our large family. Spotless and beautiful. I highly recommend this home and would gladly stay there again.

Came here for my 30th birthday with some friends and it was the most amazing time! There’s so much to do at this house! We went kayaking, hung out in the hot tub, played lawn games, made smores with the fire pit, grilled and used the zip line. The interior was also very fun! It was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Brooke was extremely communicative and accommodating. I would love to come back in the future!

This was our fourth time staying at this wonderful property, and it never disappoints! The house is clean, comfortable, and perfectly situated with beautiful views of the river. There is so much for kids to do — our ten-year-old twins stayed busy all day every day with the treehouse, slide, trampoline, swimming off the dock, tree swing, crab traps, and the many board games and puzzles provided. One of the things we love most about staying here is that there’s so much to keep the kids happily entertained, giving us parents time to relax by the firepit and truly unwind. The home is thoughtfully stocked with anything you might need, and Landon is always a pleasure to work with — friendly, responsive, and communicative. We already have our summer trip booked and can't wait to return!

My husband and I came in for my nieces wedding and we picked a property that seemed accessible for a wheel chair while still having room to see family who wanted to stop in and visit. This place was more than enough. From suggestions about where to go and what to do to putting us on bird watch for Petey the peacock our stay could not have been better! Trish and Glen are so kind! Also if you are worried about privacy with hosts living in the home above, don’t. We had all the privacy we wanted!

Wonderful abnb in the heart of King George. Pam has been great with communication and understanding during a stay with my two younger children. This place beats staying at a hotel and I Would love to come back again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Fantastic place. Welcoming. They thought of everything and more. Linens. Coffee. Electric fireplace. Laundry with iron and board. Toiletries. Glorious fragrance. High ceilings for a basement! Can’t say enough nice things about the place inside and out. Coming back as soon as I can.

This review is for a second stay as my partner and I had such a great experience our first stay, we didn't even look for other spots when we had to arrange travel plans a second time. This place is such a great deal - you get way more than what one would expect at such a price. And the hosts are truly wonderful folks - super responsive, kind, warm, and helpful, immediately responding to inquiries as they arose. Thank you Denise for your hospitality. We had an excellent stay! The place was absolutely charming - such a cute little spot right in the heart of all the Leonardtown happenings. We used to live in the area and were back for a family event, so it was really special to reexperience all the things we loved about living there. The space was super clean, tidy, and easy to get in and out of. The directions and guidebook were spot on, and overall communication was fantastic. Haley was incredibly responsive and accommodating - especially when I accidentally booked for the day after we actually arrived! She was understanding, accommodating, quick to reply, and made everything so easy. Would definitely stay here again on a future trip!

Mary was very friendly and was so quick to respond to any questions I had. We had an issue with our original hotel and Mary was able to provide us with a great spot to rent for the weekend during our visit to Honda day at mir. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful!
