We'd been looking forward to coming back to The Recycle House since we first stayed there in 2022. Safe to say it was just as we remembered it...great house, great location, wonderful community. Looking forwarded to returning.

We enjoyed staying at Nancy’s place, it was super comfortable and our dog loved it too! There was plenty of space to walk our dog and we really enjoyed watching the animals from the back porch!

This Sharon home is the perfect spot for people who love old quirky homes. Hidden doors, lots of beadboard, beautiful windows original to the house, creaky floors, floral wallpaper, etc. We are those people! For any parents with toddlers: the house is close to the road on a hill so we had to keep an eye on our 3yo outside but we didn’t mind. We played a lot of games in the living room overlooking the trees and made s’mores at night outside. My girls loved the swing in the screened-in porch. Lots of hikes nearby. Good restaurants within 20 minutes. Lots of little downtowns to explore. Our friends live in Amenia so it was perfect to only be 15 min away. Would stay here again!

Caroline was a wonderful host. We felt very welcome and appreciated the breakfast food, milk, and juice. I would definitely stay there again.

Erin was very responsive and approachable. She gave clear instructions on entry and exit to the house. It was cozy and clean and relaxing. He little touches of luxury were everywhere to be found. I would go again in a heartbeat.

Where do we start? Communication leading up to and during our stay was wonderful! Anything you could possibly need was readily available, down to the jerk sauce in the fridge. Lol. We always purchase our own cleaning products anywhere we stay and this was the 1st time we used none of it. Down to cups and even the beverages left for us. The home was so welcoming and comfortable that we slept longer than we intended to and missed an activity we planned for. Lol. This was a spectacular AirBNB experience! We honestly couldn’t have asked for more. A 10/10 experience by far.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was extremely clean! There were basic necessities provided. It also had a cute, fashionable interior design. The shower and bedrooms were nice. We liked the layout of this property. Our only issue was that either the heater in the master bedroom wasn't working, or we couldn't figure out how to use it.

We had 13 people staying at the house and everyone had a comfortable sleep. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook and serve a large crowd. There was plenty of parking. The big draw for the kids was the air hockey and pool table for the adults. Had it not been raining we would have taken advantage of the large deck with plenty of table space and seating. I would book again based on the positive feedback from everyone there.

Truly home sweet home. Just walk in and relax. Fully stocked kitchen including milk, eggs, butter and pastries so no need to rush out to go grocery shopping. Convenient to New Haven yet completely quiet neighborhood for resting and taking walks.

This wonderful antique home is in a Beautiful spot in the heart of Litchfield CT, and a delight early spring when the fields of daffodils awake! This unique 1793 house has a great view & sunset, fireplace, simple spa/gym making it a gem even when the pool is closed. Nearby the town with lots to offer and local farms for food shopping too. What’s not to love 💛 Bonus is a great host offering a home that is in touch with the realities of rentals, pets and people -not picky, precious or punitive. Happy to recommend and return! The location was great and a nice place to walk. Lots of stuff to see and do that’s not far away. We would come again.

Jennifer was a great host and easily communicated before and during our stay. This property was great for some R&R in the pool and especially the hot tub!! Short ride to many hiking trails and some wineries added to the weekend. We made big meals at the house each night but there are some towns nearby with dinner options. If you are looking for a relaxing weekend getaway with family or friends Jennifer's place is the spot!

My family and I enjoyed our stay. It was close to the casinos and the nearby towns are great. The host is very responsive and answered all of my questions.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Teva and his lovely home. The house is spacious, tidy, comfortable, and the surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. The beds were comfortable and everything you would need is there. We skied at Catamount which was ~20 minutes away - super convenient. Finally, and most notable, the overall experience and Teva’s attention to his guests’ experience was outstanding. He promptly and proactively reached out with local recommendations, was accessible during our stay for any questions, and made us feel right at home. We hope to come back over the summer for a little getaway.

The home was absolutely beautiful. We thought that maybe the professional looking photos were too good to be true, in the way that many listings can be, but they depict the house perfectly and communicate the space well. The kitchen was immaculate; a foodie’s dream, and very well organized. The theater room was a hit, and the gym is a feature that separates the house from many others of its kind. The master suite is obviously gorgeous, but no one staying in any of the other rooms felt short changed- a huge plus when trying to distribute quarters between a few families. The host could not have been more responsive or accommodating. We were truly grateful for how easy they made check in for us. Through no fault of theirs, we lost power for a few hours one night. The host checked in often with updates, and reminded us of the flashlights placed throughout the home. I honestly don’t know which impressed me more: the beauty and comfort of the house, or the attentiveness of the host.

The place had everything we needed for our short weekend stay. They allowed us to bring our dog which we really appreciated. with no pet fee! The hosts are really nice & we had no issues at all. We loved our stay! Would recommend 💯

We were looking for a last minute peaceful four day getaway and we found it here. We can’t stop talking about it. Although relatively close to everything we felt as if we were in the middle of a forest. The only sounds were the chirping of song birds and a woodpecker in the morning. Local restaurants are great and for us a trip to Yale University’s free museums and nearby antique shops rounded things out. The house is charming and Rio, our host , made sure we had everything. The few things we forgot from home were there! Wonderful experience all around.

Stayed here for about a month and felt right at home with spacious rooms and lots of amenities provided, being 20 degrees in winter the apartment stood very warm and clean and it was a wonderful place to call home for 30 days. Kisha was very helpful and responsive when I needed to communicate and she’s very kind. If I’m ever near the area in the near future I would definitely book here again no hesitation! Thank you!

This was a great place to stay. Jeri was a wonderful host - responsive, kind, warm, and friendly. The place was beautiful, and all the amenities made the stay very pleasant. Fresh eggs and cream in the fridge, along with chickens right outside really set this place apart. Wonderful place, wonderful stay, amazing host.

Second stay here and even better than before. Cozy, private, and beautiful.

Place is as pictured. Overall was a good stay. Place is clean. The big TV is nice. The kitchen is a nice size. The place is less "polished" than others. Very DIY repairs/renovating but if you're just looking for a place to crash then this is a good spot. The area has some cool food markets and everything is pretty close.
