We felt at home in this beautiful place the moment we arrived. Everything was spotless and the kitchen was the best equipped we had ever stayed in. The house is set on the edge of a field, within a well-maintained complex. It is very peaceful and quiet, yet only a 20min stroll from bustling De Haan centre and the beach. There is a very decent supermarket at the entrance to the complex, which is open 7 days a week. Our local tip: Don’t forget to visit the bakery museum at Veurne. Also highly recommend Mano restaurant at the beach front, which has lovely food & staff. Highly recommend location; we will definitely return.

This holiday home is a gem for nature lovers! The long coastal walks through the dunes were magical, and the sunsets by the sea looked like they were straight off a postcard. The location is ideal for exploring the area—whether by tram, bike, car or on foot. About the house: a true summer house charm! Spacious enough for four, a fully equipped kitchen (we cooked most meals at home). Safe Garden! A huge plus for kids and dogs—peace of mind while relaxing outdoors. Transparent and experienced Host: Erica provides clear instructions, responds quickly. I was amazed by the House rules. All aspects are covered, just read and follow! Note: In colder seasons, budget for extra electricity costs can be high (ours was €40 for 4 days and we have not used heating much.) We’re already planning to return in summer!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was very clean, cozy and had everything we needed. The location is great to enjoy the beach as much as you want. The host was friendly and responsive to all the questions we had. We will definitely be back for another visit in the future!

We hadden woning De Koe gereserveerd voor een weekend met vrienden. Enkele dagen voor ons verblijf ontvingen we duidelijke instructies. Bij aankomst werden we verrast door een mooie accomodatie. In elk hoekje en kantje was wel wat te zien. Alles was voorzien die we nodig hadden. Bedankt!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans le chalet d’Evelien. Le chalet est très bien équipé, chaleureux et confortable avec une décoration soignée. Le chalet a été très pratique car situé prêt du club de voile où notre fils participait à une régate et dans un environnement très calme. Merci à Evelien pour les nombreuses petites attentions à notre arrivée. Nous n’hésiterons pas à revenir si notre fils régate à nouveau à Nieuwpoort.

Wir waren 3 Erwachsene, 1 Kind plus 1 Hund und hatten eine wunderbare Osterurlaubswoche. Leider hat das Wetter nicht so ganz richtig mitgespielt aber 2 Tage waren von Sonnenschein begleitet. Die Unterkunft ist perfekt für 4 Gäste ausgestattet und es ist alles da, was man für 1 Urlaubswoche benötigt. Hervorragende Betten und es gibt nichts, was man bemängeln könnte. Sehr nette Begrüßung und Kontakt zum Vermieter und wir erhielten sogar ein großes Schokoladenosterei zur Ankunft. Diverse Freizeitmöglichkeiten und der Golfplatz (sehr schön, fast ein Linksplatz) ist nur 7 Min entfernt. Wir haben ihn 2x gespielt. Alles in allem: der Aufenthalt bei Thierry ist nur zu empfehlen und wir würden jederzeit erneut buchen. Vielleicht zu einer etwas späteren Jahreszeit.

Lovely bright rooms that were very clean, located in a quiet area with excellent public transport links. Griet is a very helpful and responsive host. Would highly recommend!
