Stayed here a few times- it’s just the most lovely house, spacious with gorgeous bathrooms and comfy bedroom the pool is incredible.

A stunning cottage, very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable and lovely stay away from home. The hot tub was a fantastic addition and a fun activity for a cold and miserable winters day. Liz was very helpful and a wonderful host. Thank you for a great stay!

we were a family of 6 with a dog who stayed for a long weekend , we loved the place, very cosy , relaxing with great views . house was fully furnished, excellent kitchen diner and a really good hot tub which we used every day..George is a great host, very responsive and proactive, would definitely recommend this house for a family getaway .

Just a short walk from the beach for the grandchildren and also for meals and drinks at the local restaurants. Emilie is a wonderful host and actually accepted our booking at the last minute when we were let down by another host. She saved our holiday! The house is absolutely stunning and without a doubt the most beautiful property we’ve stayed in here in Teignmouth, and we’ve been staying for twenty five years! The house is very large and beautifully clean. The decor is stunning and very thoughtfully considered. Everything is here that you could possibly need for a very wonderful stay. The coffee is delicious! There is something here for everyone. My 19 and 15yo sons played pool pretty much non stop as it rained from the moment we arrived. My daughter loved the cinema room! I don’t know what we’d have done without this wonderful home as we couldn’t do anything outside! The house is spotlessly clean and the beds are the most comfy I think we’ve ever slept in! This house would be perfect for a big family and I would recommend booking it if you need a big property as you won’t find better!

We loved it. Plent of sitting space in the basement. Beautiful kit hen with plenty of gadgets. Bedrooms comfortable with added bonus of bath robes in double bedrooms. Ground floor pool table was popular with grandchildren.

Had a great stay in a beautiful house in a fabulous location. Kids really enjoyed the hot tub and the games room. We struggled with TVs in the bedrooms but I think that's down to us and fire sticks.!! Simon responded quickly to any issues we had. We laid in bed and watched the sunrise - what's not to like. Would recommend.

Had a wonderful time. The place felt very secluded with amazing amenities and stunning sea view. Neil was very friendly and helpful too and even left us chocolates and champagne to help us celebrate a special occasion. Would love to stay here again sometime.

Lovely few days away in a small complex of lodges, staff on site very approachable and a very short distance to the lake. The cafe and restaurant didn’t seem that inviting and very quiet for Easter but that’s no reflection on Roz place. We enjoyed the hot tub unfortunately we weren’t able to use the outside lounging area due to weather being mixed. We enjoyed travelling to Bude (beautiful place) and we enjoy going to strawberry fields farm and coffee shop. The site is very peaceful and the lodges are set out so everyone is well spaced out and Roz has a lovely position overlooking the field (no animals currently). My husband used the gym once which was handy. Thanks for a nice few days

Our family had a good stay, there was plenty of space for 9 adults and 3 infants. The garden was really spacious and we enjoyed use of the fire pit, BBQ, trampoline and hot tub. The only downside was the kitchen was a bit small for us, as we cooked the majority of meals at home and ordered a big food shop for a week, which we had to split between the two kitchens (upstairs and downstairs). Walkable to Princetown where there are local facilities and amenities, plus driving to many nice places on the moors, but roads are narrow and can take some time to get places, being in the heart of Dartmoor.

The Villa was amazing! The hot tub, sauna, and bonfire were great features of the house, which my 7 friends and I enjoyed during our stay. The hosts were very friendly and responsive to messages, and ensured we felt right at home as soon as we arrived. The only issues we ran into during our stay was that coffee machine was very temperamental, and the skylight in the double room upstairs had no blind so as soon as the sun rose at around 5am it was hard to get back to sleep.

WOW!! - Foxgloves Retreat is a truly magical place. As a family of 3, we have just returned from an Easter break and it was simply unbeatable. We were so well looked after from the minute we booked and arrived. Stella and Trevor were incredibly friendly, helpful and went the extra mile to ensure our stay was fantastic. The house is absolutely stunning, beautifully designed, exceptionally well maintained and cosy too. Views over the parkland were really special - the colours, the local community enjoying themselves, lots of very happy waggly tails and birdsong. The garden is magnificent - the well manicured plants, colours and wildlife were captivating. Loved the escapism it offered, so private and extensive - great for exploring & hide and seek! The hot tub is huge, the views out were mesmerising and the sauna was a real treat after a busy day spent walking the beautiful and easily accessible coast path. Cannot wait to return in August. Thank you so much for letting us stay!

What an amazing stay, scenic location , great attention to detail in the shepherds huts with everything you require for a stay. The whole experience exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back again. Peter the host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was one to remember .. A true gem in the rolling hills or Somerset.

Me and my partner have just finished our stay with alpine grove and would highly recommend visiting. We stayed in the woodpecker lodge and from the log burner to the hot tub everything about this lodge was perfect, Kieth and Serena service is amazing and we can’t wait to visit again soon. Spent the weekend at Hillcrest Hideaway and it didn’t disappoint. Prosecco and brownies on arrival with a personalised welcome sign, The place was clean and spacious with lots of natural light. We enjoyed both the sauna and hot tub. All instructions were very clear on how to use. Check-in was very easy and host were around if we ever needed any assistance which we didn’t. Thank you for a lovely stay.

I would highly recommend staying here. Everything was clean and tidy and it was easy to get to. We loved the recommendation of places to go that were left for us to read. Our dogs enjoyed the treats left for them, I felt this was a really nice touch. Although we went out to adventure each day it was a perfect and peaceful place to unwind at in the evening. Hot tub is always an added bonus. It was really clean and easy to use. Can’t wait to stay again!

This was our third time staying at Torvale and we loved it! The place was easy to find and get into, it was clean and tidy, and we were given some lovely welcome treats to make the holiday extra special. The facilities are fantastic - the hot tub is a particular favourite - and we always love how private and comfortable Torvale is. The hosts are also great - always helpful, easy to contact and very welcoming. Can't recommend enough!

Stayed for my 40th birthday followed directions and used what 3 words worked great no issues finding it. I would recommend bring some food with you as shops are quite far away. The pub wasn't open when we were there and the closest spar had limited choice of food but everything in kitchen worked great. Had a very relaxing stay enjoyed hot tub and sauna. A few places on the local recommendations have now closed but otherwise would def recommend to friends. Cooper loved running around in wildflowers, stream and looking out the huge windows at birds and squirrels. Loved it 🥰

Sophie and Rob made us feel at home. Lovely touch a card and bottle of bubbles. Surroundings peaceful and very relaxing. Fishing was great. Will definitely return.
