The area sustained 2 Hurricanes in the previous 3 months. The home was in surprisingly good shape. The home was well furnished throughout and pleasantly decorated. The exterior of the home needs some work, but did not affect our stay. The area is awash with no-see-ums. We all were constantly getting bit despite bug spray. There are 4 good double kayaks, paddles and life vests. There were not back rests for all 8 pisitions. The back rests that were present were not very good. There is room on the property for a sizeable camper with hookup (main reason we chose this spot). Weeki Watchee State park is near by. We spent probably close to 10 hours over 4 days (all combined during our 7 day stay) and only saw Manatees on one day. All in all, we had a really nice time. I honestly don't know if we'd stay in this immediate area again (mostly do to the no see ums). The hosts are very pleasant and responsive.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful Florida home! The house was spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable vacation. The highlight was definitely the private pool – crystal clear, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe, and we were just a short drive from great restaurants and beaches. The host was super responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We’d definitely come back!

Such a cute spot and a quick kayak ride to the beautiful clear weeki Wachee river. Couldn’t find the washer and dryer and Derick responded very quickly. Would def stay again :)

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Weeki! Kevin was a fantastic host—super friendly and welcoming. The house was super clean and had a cozy, laid-back, homey vibe that made us feel right at home. We really appreciated all the extra touches he provided throughout. The pool was a major highlight—absolutely gorgeous at night with the lights on and so fun to swim in. Would definitely stay here again!

We went to Tampa for a business trip, but didn’t want to stay in a hotel. We chose this place because of the location on the water and the kayaks. We spent almost all of our time on the water and fishing. The house was located close to everything you would possibly need, but once you were out back you forgot you were close to the city! The hosts were super responsive anytime I messaged with questions. The house was very comfortable. AC was cold. Comfortable bed. We would definitely stay again!

Joey was outstanding when it came to any questions we had for the house, very responsive. House is exactly as described and the views are outstanding. Joey even had some extras for our arrival.

This house is a perfect location on the Weeki Wachee River! It was a perfect spot for a little spring break getaway with my family of four. Comfortable living quarters and an awesome deck to enjoy the beautiful weather. The inside is a bit dated, which is why I gave 4/5 for the value. But the place is spotlessly clean and the location can't be beat. Outside: Plenty of kayaks for everyone to use and an easy dock made for a quick launch. The backyard firepit was perfect for s'mores as the sun set. Tabitha was happy to give us a late checkout (with a super speedy response) so we could enjoy one more morning on the river. Def would recommend!

Fantastic place! Love that it’s on a dead end, right on the water and plenty of things to do in the area. Erik greeted us when we arrived, also we appreciate his flexibility at check in. He recommended a local butcher and we took advantage of the grill on our last evening. The place was just perfect for our pups with a fenced in yard to let them roam freely. I enjoyed coffee on the deck most mornings. We will be looking to book this place next year for our annual hockey tournament trip. Thanks again Erik! We will be in touch for next year!!

Cascade was a wonderful host. We felt right a home with the kitty cat's welcome and the chicken coop providing fresh eggs in the morning. Cascade was very accomodating and felt very comfortable in her quaint, funky accomodations.

John was a wonderful host! His arrival instructions were detailed and super helpful, and he responded to all of my questions immediately! The Airbnb was lovely, super clean, cute and exactly what we needed for the weekend (and the backyard area was the perfect place to sit near the water and relax!). If you’re looking for a peaceful space that is still super close to everything you might want to do in Tampa, I highly recommend booking a stay here! We will definitely book here again the next time we are visiting Tampa.

They were great hosts. Amazing even. They were super responsive and left everything clean. The only non positive thing I can think of was sometimes there were roaches or bugs that made their way inside, it made sense since we were right on the lake. She left cleaning supplies and multiple types of bug spray and checked in on us often. We’re coming back to stay long term.

The place was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The amenities were top-notch ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed exploring the area … especially the beaches that were close by. Our grandchildren enjoyed fishing off the dock. We look forward to our next visit to Florida and definitely would stay here again!!!

Thank you Hey Vacay! The space was beautiful, fit the needs for our wedding prep, and we all around had an AMAZING experience. The Hey Vacay team was also incredibly accommodating and communicative. Would highly recommend for anyone else looking for a beautiful spot in a gorgeous, quiet neighborhood that's very central and close to downtown. We had an absolutely PERFECT wedding week.

Our stay was great. The location and view was just what we had hoped for. Loved watching the birds and other wildlife in the canal. The dock was an excellent place to relax.

We really enjoyed our stay in Mark’s place. It’s a lovely setting by a small lake. Mark was very kind and accommodating. If we had any questions, he was quick to respond. The place suited our needs very well!

We had an amazing 3 days at Sally's place! The house was clean and comfortable and we especially loved the use of kayaks right off the dock. We saw manatees right off the dock two of the days that we were there! We kayaked upstream toward the state park and downstream toward Rogers park every day. Sally recommended bug spray and that is for sure important! We cooked out one night on the charcoal grill, but there are also great restaurants nearby. It's a quick trip to the main road with all the stores you'll need. Sally was very communicative and responded right away to any questions that I had. We would stay here again!

We had a great stay! We loved the view and loved feeding the baby goats and cows! We came for a trip to check out the Weeki Wachi springs and it was about 20 minutes away, so very close. The cabin was cozy, comfortable and had everything we needed. Brandy was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend this place to a friend!

This was our second stay at this cottage and we are already looking forward to booking again! My husband and I appreciate the attention to detail with every aspect of our stay. Kristen is a fantastic host. We didn’t have to bother her during our stay because the cottage is stocked with everything we needed. Another awesome stay.

The home is in the perfect location for this area. It is exactly as described and had all we needed. Back yard is small but enough room to sit by canal and enjoy the outdoors. Hope to go back soon.

We enjoyed our stay and the dogs loved the fenced yard and the friendly hoses. Very peaceful and relaxing setting. Host left us some fresh eggs and we had everything we needed for a great stay.

This was the best Airbnb we have stayed at!!!! We travel alot for basketball and this was a favorite for all 9 of us. The house felt so cozy and decor was amazing. Krista was so generous and flexible with the check in/out times and process. The outside was so relaxing and peaceful, along with so much to do. We will be back!!!

Tim and Jeannie are the best hosts ever! Communication and local recommendations are top notch! If you are like us, you’ll be on the go because Saint Petersburg offers so much with arts, culture and outdoor recreation that most of the time was being out and about. However, when you get back, you’ll feel like you’re at home and everything you need is right there! Sleep in and eat breakfast at the cottage, come back early and watch a movie or hit the hot tub or just do another load of laundry and hit the beach one more time! It’s so convenient and the best location ever! Thank you Tim and Jeannie :)
