Listen. I don't want to tell you anything about this place. I want to lie to you and tell you it was mediocre. I want to tell you that I didn't find a single thing enjoyable and didnt wake up to dolphins. I want to tell the deck was boring and bed is made of wood. the truth is.. I found a gem and so have you. Ditch the kids and take you wife here. bring some bug spray and some simple foods. I didn't plan to stay put and that was a mistake. You should plan to stay and not go anywhere. Also. lamas look like aliens in the dark.

We had an amazing, much needed vacation. The house was beautiful and had all the amenities needed to make it feel just like home. The attention to detail was spot on.. Chris gave us so many ideas and suggestions on things to do in the area. The pool was a hit with the kids. Chris was super quick at responding to questions and even sent videos on how to do things with the pool. We will definitely be back! The beaches are so beautiful and at low tides exploring was a lot of fun. We saw stingrays, crabs, jelly fish and tons of live sand dollars (that we left alone, please don’t take them if they are alive)… This was our first time on St. Simon Island and we fell in love.

We had a great time at Deborah’s place! It was nice and comfortable, and the hosts provided everything we needed. Deborah and Ginny were very attentive to our needs and were always ready to provide recommendations. You can walk to the beach from the house and access nearby restaurants. The hosts were very kind to leave snacks for us when we arrived. We loved the patio area and relaxed there every evening. I highly recommend it!

Mary made us feel right at home! Her place was incredible, it had everything we needed to enjoy a long weekend on the island for my son’s wedding. We appreciate the welcome note and the bottle of wine and doggie treats. She really went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed.

My daughter, I and furry friends enjoyed our stay. Especially liked the fenced in sideyard.

We LOVE Amelia Island. Chip and Amy’s place is perfect for a short or long term stay. Beautifully updated space with a full very functional kitchen and comfortable beds! Quiet location close to all the amenities. We will be back!!

The place was really nice, and having the bikes and the beach gear is super helpful; however, a number of the bikes had issues and were not able to be used (Brandon was responsive and had someone work on them within a day or two). My son repaired 1-2 bikes himself. Also, the place says that it has a fire pit and a grill, both of which factored into our decision to stay here, but nowhere did we see in the listing that we'd have to buy the propane for these in order to use them. That was disappointing. Who would use an entire tank in a week?! Despite these issues, we had a great stay, and the airbnb is well stocked, esp in the kitchen!
