Perfect place! Was looking for a rental that was not up a mountain. Had to be "flat", close to App state and King street/restaurants. East King is seconds from King Street/App State. Flat parking pad. No steps into the back door. Easy to retrieve key. Spotless. My parents stayed at a nearby hotel (used their points) and we had a wonderful weekend showing them all over Boone and the area and had a wonderful time at the house to celebrate both our daughter's birthdays and Easter. Location, location location! Super convenient- we would absolutely rent here again! Owner was almost instantly responsive and very helpful.

We had a really great time at Crab Orchard House! It was a beautiful property and had so much character. My kids loved the old time charm and was close to all the fun things to do in the mountains! Would definitely stay again!

We had an amazing stay and thoroughly enjoyed the front yard for all day sledding! The house was spacious - perfect for our four families! Most importantly, the hosts were super friendly and responsive to any questions we had! We will definitely be back to enjoy the river in the summer!!

We had a wonderful stay at Andrew's place! The property was beautiful and peaceful. My kids loved playing in the creek and exploring the property. The hosts provided all sorts of activities to keep the kids busy-- whiffle balls and a bat, soccer balls, football, frisbee, fish nets, water shoes. There were plenty of things we didn't have time to get to, since we had a brief weekend stay for a tournament. The house was very clean and comfortable with so many nice touches. We appreciated that the kitchen had a list of items posted on the fridge and where to find it. They provided special drinks, tea and coffee, and a bottle of wine. We will definitely be back when we visit Boone again. Thank you, Andrew!

Another great Winter stay at Got Rocks! We’ve stayed here many times before and we’ve always enjoyed the proximity to the things we enjoy nearby such as skiing, wineries, groceries, restaurants, etc. there is lots of space to spread out, and everything we needed in the kitchen to make meals whenever we wanted. Thanks again Wesley for letting us use your place!

We visited for President’s Day weekend and had a lovely stay with our elementary age kids. Check in was very straightforward. The house was well equipped and spotless with tons of space, including a mudroom, a functional fridge with ice/water dispenser and a garbage disposal, things I’ve found are often lacking in Airbnbs. Further, we really appreciated the coffee bar and separate bowls for our Frenchie - very thoughtful! My kids loved using the big master tub, and my husband and I are always pleased to see double vanities. Beds were comfortable with lots of extra linens available. The host was super responsive. It snowed while we were there and we were able to navigate the driveway without an issue. Lastly, a functional 2 car garage with garage door openers! So valuable in freezing/snowy weather. All around a great house for a family vacation.

We had a great stay at Jared's place. Everything was very comfortable -- and the bathrooms and kitchen were super-clean, which was great. It was a very quiet community (winter), and the houses are placed for privacy/good views. The club also had very helpful staff, a nice pool, and a good gym. We were happy there was no ice or snow when we were there, as the driveway is steep. A convenient location related to Boone, Blowing Rock, etc. -- everything seemed about 20 minutes away. Jared was also generous on check-out time for us. And we appreciated the very simple check-out procedure.

Lucas’ place was in a very good location. You could walk to many things or a very short drive into the heart of town. We met both him and Linda, both were kind. It was a simple place, but clean and very local feeling. Surprisingly quiet since there are student rentals and big roads nearby.

The apartment was as described and within walking distance of several restaurants and Campus. We enjoyed our stay and the location of the apartment. We especially enjoyed the back porch/deck.

If you’re planning to go to the slopes this is a perfect place. Host is responsive and nice!

We had a great stay here! Regina was amazing leading up to and throughout our stay. She was very responsive and understanding and made us feel right at home upon arrival. It is located in such a great neighborhood on a beautiful property. Cannot recommend this place more it was perfect!

We enjoyed staying at David and Rachel's place! It was so nice to be able to walk to everything in downtown Boone and it was remarkably quiet being right in town. The place was cozy, had all the amenities we needed, and we felt right at home. Thanks for sharing your great home!

We had a wonderful stay at Nicole’s place! The condo was beautiful and peaceful and a great setup for our family of 4 to relax and enjoy! There are plenty of activities at the resort and surrounding areas to stay busy and entertained as well. We enjoyed the indoor pool, Tweetsie Railroad, and Downtown Blowing Rock playground and many restaurants! Nicole was a wonderful host and was very helpful and responsive. We definitely plan to return and stay again!

Trey’s place hit all the marks for what I needed - clean, cozy, comfy, and affordable. Bonus points for an amazing loose leaf tea selection, gorgeous mountain views at sunrise and sunset, and close to everything I wanted to do in the area. (Grandfather Mtn, Linville Falls, Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster were on my list - did them all in a day.) All instructions were clear and easy, and I had everything I needed for an enjoyable weekend away in the NC mountains. Go stay here and support western NC!! I hope to come back again soon :)

We really enjoyed our stay at this pretty condo and the view of Grandfather Mountain is worth the price alone! The condo is easy to find and had everything we needed. Although we only ate breakfast here, the kitchen looked to have anything you would need to cook a nice dinner. The bathrooms were squeaky clean and we were provided with enough toiletries and towels for our visit. The location is perfect for going to Valle Crucis, Boone or Banner Elk or simply relaxing on the porch. Ronnie gave lots of good information and was super easy to communicate with! We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Though it’s close to the main road, you need four-wheel drive in winter to get to this condo. We got stuck and could not reach the condo- ended up driving to the next town for snow chains as that was the only way to get there. It’s a nice place and very close to Beech Mountain but important to be aware of accessibility in winter.

Best Airbnb rental I’ve ever had. Furniture was super comfortable…..beds were AWESOME…….from being comfy to the great linens! Closet was loaded with extra pillows and blankets if you needed them. Owners thought of everything by leaving little notes for things (ex: how to get water hot faster). Super generous with supplies left there……even had razors if you needed them. Loved our stay and 100% staying there again next trip!

Fabby is a wonderful host! The beautiful unit was well stocked with everything we needed. I see the care Fabby puts into making guests very comfortable for their stay. We adored being so close to the slopes. We could see the chair lift from the balcony. I highly recommend this location. We would love to return.

We loved Blaine and Mary's condo. It was the perfect place to spend the weekend skiing at Appalachian Mountain. Downtown Blowing Rock was only a few minutes by foot. The space is beautifully decorated and was very comfortable for our family (Parents and 2 kids + uncle). We will definitely look for it on future ski trips.
