Lovely old property, minutes from the centre of town

Lovely cottage, had everything we needed. We stayed for our 5th anniversary and had a lovely time. Would recommend :)

We spent the weekend at Gill’s beautiful cottage and it could not have been any better. The cottage was perfect in every way and we couldn’t have felt anymore at home. The cottage itself was gorgeous and extremely well kept and the views across the fields were stunning. Gill was a great host and went above and beyond to make our trip one to remember. We would recommend this to anyone and were certainly come back again in the future.

We enjoyed a great break in Peewit Cottage, which was spotless and had everything you need. The surroundings were well looked after and amenities great. The little touches, including the welcome pack (best we’ve had and included the dog!) and Prosecco and strawberries to enjoy in the hot tub were thoughtful and lovely. All the information you need is provided prior to arrival or readily available within the cottage. We used the cottage as a base to visit local attractions, all easily accessible by car. Glen was both very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend and somewhere we would return to. Thank you, Jacqueline!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The hosts were great at not just providing information but being very responsive to messages and were very friendly and welcoming. The house had everything you could need/want. We didn't need to use the kitchen facilities much in our stay but there was everything you could need there. The welcome pack provided was very much appreciated containing some lovely goodies, especially the coffee from the Durham Coffee company. It was delicious. The beds were super comfy and loved that they provided both a firm & medium pillow to accommodate everyone's preferences. The whole place was really clean & they had really thought about what people would need during a stay. The hot tub was a lovely addition and some of our party took advantage of it. Others liked the fire pit & the hosts even brought round some more logs for us to have a second use of it during our stay. Loved that every room had an ensuite, made things much easier. Loved the Harry Potter room

Mark’s and Michelle’s home is by far the best place we’ve stayed in. Everything’s exactly what was in the description— all the amenities are well cared for and the attention to detail are well thought of. So you can also expect a luxurious and pleasant getaway for a reasonable price. Thank you again to you both for your warm hospitality! We’ve had perfect and relaxing weekend rest. We’ll for sure come back— a little longer stay next time.

A peaceful and relaxing location with spacious and well equipped accommodation. Elaine was there to welcome us with local advice and information. The fridge was stocked with a selection of tasty treats including home baked ham that was delicious and a jar of lovely homemade jam. The bed was comfortable and the shower was huge with lots of piping hot water. We thoroughly enjoyed our few days away celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone seeking a quiet and restful staycation.

We had a wonderful stay at The Old Barn. It was the perfect cozy base for our trip to visit family locally. The barn was peaceful, comfortable, spotlessly clean and fresh - it had everything we needed and we especially enjoyed coming back to the fire after a day out. Our boys enjoyed playing football in the lovely garden. Steven was really helpful. We had a fabulous time - very highly recommended.

We had a beautiful stay at Michael’s house, feeling right at home. We caught some beautiful sunsets whilst we were there. Michael was extremely responsive at sorting a minor problem before our arrival and provided lots of lovely little welcome touches. Thanks for great stay!

Easy walk into Corbridge town centre and its cute pubs. A nice little pub just around the corner. Easy access to all the sights we wanted to see, especially the Roman ruins and Hadrian’s wall. We also took a trip to Durham which is a great town to visit.

Great cottage. Just perfect for two and the dog. Lovely walks straight from the front door. The cottage was clean, comfortable and the host was very responsive. We’d, definitely, use it again.

Located just a minute away from the beach, and ten minute walk from a variety of bars and coffee shops shops, the cottage was nonetheless quiet and peaceful. Debbie really had thought of everything to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Really enjoyed ourselves and will be back!

Seaglass Cottage is a lovely place to stay, literally just round the corner from the beach. The house is clean, well equipped and homely and Lucy left a lovely welcome pack of treats which was indeed very welcome. She was also helpful and communication with her was easy. There was no washing machine which wasn’t a problem for us as we only stayed for the weekend but it may be for young families staying for a longer time. We would happily come back for another visit

We had a great time! The farm cottage had everything that you needed for a comfortable and well equipped stay. It was lovely seeing the lambs playing in the field, hearing the owls in the evening in the nearby trees and seeing the fantastic sunsets on the horizon. We enjoyed our walks around Bolam country Park, getting to Cresswell Beach and going into Newcastle. We also went into the National park for a walk up to a waterfall. Our dog - Callie - enjoyed her stay just as much as we did! Would definitely be happy to visit again.

We stayed at Hamraz's house when our home was flooded so we stayed for 4 weeks. The location is amazing- close to amenities and the views are stunning. The house was big enough for us to comfortably live in for 4 weeks. The hot tub is well worth the extra money as it's a premium hot tub. Hamraz husband very prompt at explaining things at check in. Host then very much left us to it which was ideal for us. Would stay again.

Seahorse Cottage is beautiful and we sat on the patio in the early evening enjoying a drink in the sunshine. Every detail thought of - even milk and a lovely box of biscuits to welcome us. The locals are friendly and helpful, we had a lovely couple of days. Thank you Lorna!

We all loved staying on Laura’s farm, the accommodation was comfortable, clean, really well equipped and waking up to see the cows having their breakfast was an added joy . The little extras that Laura supplied for both humans and dogs were lovely! Would definitely stay again.

Hagg Hill Farm Cottage was everything we were looking for. Just a few minutes from Newcastle. The secluded location was very peaceful and calm. Just over the road from a country park with a nature trail. The cottage has a well appointed kitchen, a cosy lounge, and a spacious bedroom ensuite. We were very comfortable and would consider staying there again.

Absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful country cottage in rural Northumberland. It was the perfect getaway for our family of four—and our dog was just as welcome as we were! The cottage itself was spotless, both inside and out, with a lovely garden and everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing break. The setting is just stunning—peaceful, scenic, and ideal for stargazing. We were lucky enough to catch a clear night and saw the dark skies filled with stars and a glowing full moon—truly magical. A thoughtful touch was the homemade biscuits and marmalade waiting for us on arrival, which made us feel right at home from the start. We couldn’t fault a thing and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful countryside escape.

Just back from a long weekend staying at Gardeners Cottage and it was bliss. Lockhaugh Farm/Gardeners Cottage is in an excellent location - I’m from the area and never knew it existed! Tucked away down a farm track; the site has stunning views and feels very secluded - all we heard all weekend was birds singing. The farm backs out onto the Derwent walk/river so literally step out the gate and you’re onto a beautiful walk. At the top of the track is Rowlands Gill, a bustling village just 15/20 mins from Newcastle, so you have the best of both worlds. We went out two nights during our stay and no problem with taxis finding us (we used Kingsway). The cottage is surprisingly light and airy but still cosy. Well appointed kitchen, wet room and huge comfy bed - we slept amazingly. Struggled a bit with the telly and WiFi signal but we weren’t fussed - we pre downloaded some bits on the iPad and could make calls from the car. Definitely our new base when visiting family in the area!

Enjoyed a lovely stay at Low Fell. Our cottage was just as described. It was so comfortable. My husband and I both slept like logs . A much needed rest. It was a perfect base for exploring .

Amazing location, with an equally amazing property-everything you would want on holiday. John had left a lovely cake, eggs, milk and bread. The chickens and peacocks, not to forget Clementine, elevated our stay!John was very quick to address any queries we had.
