We had a lovely stay in Tynemouth, right next to the beach, great space for the kids to play in the back garden. The house had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Will stay again for sure.

Good size caravan in a great location for Whitley Bay and surrounding areas. Great comms from Julie throughout. Would recommend.

The host was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—quiet and peaceful, yet close to everything I needed. I especially appreciated the little touches like fresh towels, complimentary snacks, and a guide to local attractions. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay at Melanie’s. The house is really comfy, cosy, well-appointed and welcoming. We found it deceptively spacious and we loved the big rooms. The beds are very comfy and the house is warm on cold days and airy when it is hot outside. It’s extremely handy for day trips to Beamish and it’s close enough to make an easy journey into Newcastle. We found the parking was a tight squeeze but Melanie’s advice on how to manage this was spot-on - she is a very helpful host. Event though the house is on a narrow terraced street, the neighbours left us space to get the car in and out, and we found the house private, quiet and peaceful. We had everything we needed in the house and there are lots of extras like Netflix and Freeview on the TV as well as lots of books and DVDs. The chip shop down the road served us huge portions and was tasty - we also recommend the Stables restaurant at Beamish Hall. We hope to stay at Melanie’s again and will be recommending it to others.

What a nice place to enjoy a lovely sunny weekend. Top location next to the beach and near the centre, and the dog also loved the field right outside the relaxing bay window. A lovely welcome pack made us feel at home right from the start. We would definitely stay again if in the Tynemouth area as it ticked all our boxes.

Had a great 2 night stay just me and my pooch Beryl, right on the beach, I took my camera and got some great shots on from the attic window, lovely beach walks and great food at granny Annie's where dogs are very welcome, will definitely stay again !!
