We were really fortunate to do an extended stay here while we had contractors working on our home. Being in a one-level house with a big backyard in a nice, quiet neighborhood made the transition so easy for our young kid. The hosts were super responsive and kind. If you plan to stay for a long period, rest assured they will be over in a blink to make any fixes and also for lawn maintenance. We’ll be recommending this home to family and friends visiting the area! Bonuses: great location to walking path (and a local grocer), awesome built-in bookcases, nice pots and pans, and plenty of desk areas for remote work with fast internet.

This little escape reminded me how good it feels to slow down. Whether you’re flying solo, escaping with a partner, or gathering with friends, this cabin is a perfect spot to recharge. I left feeling grounded, refreshed, and already thinking about when I can come back.

This house is fabulous! So pretty, clean and fully equipped with everything you need. The location is great, only 15 minutes to Cashiers and about 40 minutes to downtown Highlands. The drive into Cashiers is beautiful - past Christmas Tree farms! The area where the house is located is very nice as well -trails, a clubhouse, putting green and pickleball courts close by. The homeowners were great!

My husband and I recently had the opportunity to stay at Katy & Dominic’s lovely home in beautiful Connestee Falls . They were incredibly communicative, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. They took the time to share local recommendations and made sure we were settled in nicely. Very cozy and comfortable house. The owners were very attentive with flashlights, coffee maker, and kitchenware. Extra blankets and pillows were also provided in the bedrooms. Perfect for those who want to come to town for a vacation or go to Symmes chapel to watch the sunrise.

The view is amazing! Plenty of room and loved that it was pet friendly. The area is challenging for walking them but that is typical for the mountains. Nice small fenced area, just know there is a large groundhog (not aggressive) who lives under the porch so keep an eye out for him if your pet likes to chase them! Plenty of kitchen supplies. Nice large master suite!

Easy weekend trip! Access to the house was easy. Quick drive into Brevard and great golf right in the neighborhood. Spotted tons of deer and a wild turkey right in the yard!

We had a great stay. 3 couples. All had our own ensuite bathrooms. Living space upstairs and downstairs. Played pool one night, hot tub next night. Every place we ate had great food and service. Went to Asheville each day for different restaurants. Really peaceful and quiet and only 30 mins from where we went. Stable Spa was also a nice experience. Restaurants we enjoyed - Corkys Dog House, Limones, Sierra Nevada was our favorite. Luanne was an amazing host even coming by at 8pm to drop off a lighter for the indoor fireplace. Thank you!

Very clean, nice comfortable beds super clean bathroom, well stocked kitchen!!! don’t buy coffee or sugar. It’s already there. Very responsive host.

Stayed during the Great Solar Eclipse of 2017 (which, sadly, clouds in the area turned it into the Great Dud of 2017). However, our stay at this great property made it all worthwhile. The unit has an excellent location with fantastic views and clean comfortable accommodations with everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Communications before, during, and after our stay were excellent and we couldn't have asked for a better host. If in the area again, I will certainly be staying here again!

My wife and I spent 16 days at The Mulberry House during the Christmas and New Year's weeks and really enjoyed our stay. Sharon was a great host, and although she was not present on the property, we were in constant text-message contact whenever there was a question about anything. The unit was decorated nicely, there are two bedrooms with queen-sized beds, a big screen TV., & large sofa & chair in the living room. Sharon provides plenty of towels, washcloths & many toiletries in the bathroom (shampoo, conditioner, lotions, etc). The kitchen is very well stocked with plenty of plates, glasses, & utensils, for 8 people. There's a variety of spices, and complementary coffee & tea provided along with kitchen gadgets. The unit is a little tricky to find, and is about 15 minutes from Brevard where there's restaurants and an Ingles Market. Also phone and TV service run off the internet which can be a little tricky at times. Good instructions and maps/guides of the area are provided

We loved this unit! It was very spacious and well-outfitted! Close to the amenities of Chinquapin: hiking, frisbee golf, fitness, pickle ball, etc. Beautiful autumn colors to view out the windows. Good response when we had a view questions. Would definitely come back!

Great place! Very private you have a direct view of the falls. Very nice stocked kitchen, the beds were very comfortable, and very well furnished! We will definitely go back!

Cree’s Retreat was clean, efficient and well stocked. We appreciated the coffee pods, extra towels, and toiletries. Easy parking and close location, but not very walkable (narrow road without sidewalks). Overall, a wonderful place to stay!

If you're looking for a condo in the Sapphire Valley Resort don't hesitate to book Heather's place! It was fully stocked with everything we needed and honestly the cleanest Airbnb we've ever stayed at!!! It was a super easy check in/out process, the decor was super charming, beds were so comfy, and Heather had really high quality shower/kitchen supplies. We were pleasantly surprised with all the extra touches! In addition to this we also really enjoyed the pool, lake, playground, and arcade. It was the perfect family getaway!

The most incredible Airbb and host! Such a beautiful home to enjoy for our girls trip, it was so hard to leave! Felt like we were in the mountains yet 12 minutes from downtown. So peaceful and private and panoramic views! Simply breathtaking! This home had several outdoor areas to enjoy with our group of eight and lots of places to gather inside and be all together in the same room. Home is so well furnished with such comfortable surroundings and generous amenities! Toiletries, beach towels for hot tub, yoga mats and weights, coffee/tea bar, and arcade room. I cant say enough positive things about this home. Planning on returning with couples! Christina was so attentive and pro-active. She even ordered some games for our group to enjoy for our stay. Code names, Five Crowns and Rummikub. Communication was suburb and details to operate things in house are clearly labeled and well thought out. Thank you for letting us enjoy!

The property is gorgeous—perched in the mountains with a stunning view and the most breathtaking sunsets we’ve ever seen. It felt like we were alone on the edge of the world in the most peaceful, private, and serene setting. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Julie had curated every detail with love and intention. The atmosphere was designed to promote relaxation and connection with nature—something we felt in every corner of the space. We also opted for the romance package and it was beyond worth it. Candles lined the path to the outdoor tub, and we were greeted with champagne, wine, and a fresh fruit board. It was elegant, thoughtful, and truly unforgettable. Julie has thought of everything. This is a place we plan to return to at least once a year for as long as we live in North Carolina. It’s more than just a stay—it’s an experience we’ll never forget.

Highly recommend this place! We rented it for a bridal/bachelorette party weekend for five women, and it was marvelous! Early instructions about check in were informative. We lived in the hot tub. When there was an issue on Friday evening, we contacted the host who responded within the hour. Kitchen worked great for our personal French cooking lesson. We had a blast playing pool downstairs. And oh how the beds were comfortable, with great sheets to boot! Great views out the living room and kitchen to enjoy your morning coffee. What a great place!

Eric was a wonderful host. Directions were very clear and understanding. Although the thermostat is split , Eric was very understanding an adjusted as needed. Great location and get away spot for couples. Very quiet and secured . We will definitely come back!

We loved our stay. We loved contributing to the economy in the recovery efforts of your charming city. Home met all of our needs. Very well appointed and comfortable. Easy to find. Lot of great things to do today close by.

This place is a great stay for anyone looking for a place centrally located in the Cashiers/Sapphire area. Easy and scenic walk around lake Fairfield. Great Mountain View from back patio. Easy access to Sapphire National Golf Course. The place is very spacious with room to spread out for the whole family and it is equipped very well. Roland is responsive and checked in on us periodically to make sure everything was well. I highly recommend staying here!

We celebrated our family Christmas together - the house included all we could need for cooking and even had holiday dinnerware…it was spacious and the separate lower level quarters was perfect for my son and his family for when the kids needed to be in bed earlier or for my DIL who at times needed to get away from all of us for solitude. The big open kitchen on the main level was great and the dining table fit all of us for sit down dinners and for playing games in the evenings. We loved that we didn’t have to worry about purchasing spices, oils, paper products - all was there for us to use. The view of the lake was serene. The house was also decorated with outdoor lights for the holiday and even had a Christmas tree on the back screened in Deck. Hoping to make this our annual get together with my kids who all live in different states. In other words, we will definitely rent this house again. Wonderful and easy communication as well!

We stayed for four nights. The views from this home are more incredible than any picture could capture. We stay in many rental homes when we travel. This is the most well appointed kitchen we’ve ever used. Communication with the host was easy and rarely needed. Lots of great instructions on how to do things around the house. And the space was just simply beautifully decorated. I wanted to spend time with my family in a beautiful home with a breathtaking view. This home did just that! Thank you for sharing your home.
