Alojamientos vacacionales en Toutvent

The gite was lovely and Lynn and Nicola were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we had to leave after a few days because my elderly husband had banged his head on the low doorway (despite it being labelled as low), stunned him and cut his head open. In view of his history of subdural haematoma this was worrying. And then he missed the low step into the bedroom and went flying, injuring his hand and chin. We thought it too risky to stay on but this was our problem, not the gite's. We were really sorry to have to leave. The garden was ideal for our dogs. The neighbourhood was pretty, and historic with some nice walks. We enjoyed exploring the countryside. We would not hesitate to recommend the gite although perhaps not so much for people with limited mobility.

Had a great 12 day stay at Alexa's property. Very comfortable/spacious accommodation. Alexa could not have been more helpful, she even waited up to greet me, despite me having a few travel challenges and not arriving until around 23:00Hrs. She provided some essential provisions upon arrival (milk, bread, coffee, cheese, ham, wine and a couple of beers) which was fantastic. The location was ideal as I was on a property hunt and it was central to my search area. The local village was around 2Km away and has a small shop for any essential purchases. There were several larger towns with bars, restaurants, super markets, petrol stations within a 15-20 min drive. There were larger towns and cities that were between a 30-60 min drive which is easily doable on France's quiet and well maintained road system. Unfortunately, I didn't get to use the pool due to the weather. I would definitely stay at Alexa's again if the need arose and highly recommend it for anyone touring Perigord.

Le séjour s'est très bien passé chez Gérard à l'occasion du festival de la BD. La maison est proche d'une boulangerie, ce qui est très pratique pour se prendre à manger pour le midi ! La gare est également proche si on n'a pas envie de prendre la voiture. La maison est très confortable avec les trois chambres et les deux salles de bains. Nous recommandons !

Un gite très joli et fonctionnel sur une île idyllique. "Une parenthèse enchantée". Aline est une hôtesse disponible et prévenante.

Séjour très agréable dans cette belle maison très bien équipée. Le cadre avec l’extérieur et la rivière à proximité est très sympa. Merci à Jo pour son accueil et sa réactivité lors de nos échanges!

Nous avons passé un très bon week-end en famille dans cette maison spacieuse, confortable et parfaitement conforme à la description. Le cadre est paisible, idéal pour se ressourcer. Malheureusement, la météo ne nous a pas permis de profiter pleinement du jardin, qui est pourtant très agréable. L'hôte a été particulièrement sympathique, disponible et réactive tout au long du séjour. Je recommande !

It’s difficult to describe how special this place is! Situated on a beautiful property, the apartment is accessed through a gate into a courtyard and feels very private. (The place does share the courtyard with two other rental units, which were empty when we were there but it might have felt less private had they been occupied.) A converted barn, the apartment is cozy and unique with beautiful, thoughtful touches throughout. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and cooking in the well-appointed kitchen was a pleasure. Hosts are wonderful - warm and welcoming, and available and helpful without being intrusive. They even offered to bake us a savory pie on arrival and happily donated some butter to make our daughter’s birthday cake as the nearby shops were closed. We would love to come back one day and be able to swim and spend more time outdoors - as it was, our daughter loved exploring the yard and woods, filled with delightful surprises. A gem!

Un vrai nid douillet aux portes d'Aubeterre-sur-Dronne, avec un jardin privatif qui permet d'entendre le chant des oiseaux. Marion est extrêmement sympathique, une très belle rencontre dans un cadre paisible. Tout est fourni, et le poêle est idéal pour la soirées/nuits un peu fraîches.
