Gonçalo's home was beyond perfect. The house was exactly as described. The home was one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed! The hosts were understanding when we had to change our check-in time and their welcoming of us to the property was very warm and kind. They showed us the house and recommended many places to go to while we were there. The history of the home and the history of some of their decor was told to us as well which truly added to the incredible detail that has been put into this place. The location was perfect with close access to the beaches. We stayed for three nights due to other plans but truly wished we could have stayed longer, it truly was an incredible stay.

Nice little place to stay, fully self-contained but restaurants and cafes within 50m. Nice running trails also from straight out the front. Popular with surfers.

Foi uma estadia curta, mas que valeu a pena. A casa é espaçosa e aconchegante e o anfitrião é muito atencioso.

A casa do Alain tem uma vista deslumbrante sobre o Oceano Atlântico. A casa está muito bem organizada e tem todos os equipamentos e utensílios, uma televisão grande (excelente para ver um bocado dos Jogos Olímpicos de Paris) e bom internet. Apesar de estar numa zona turística, a casa situa-se numa rua bem tranquila. Os contactos foram sempre amigáveis, com respostas imediatas. Recomendo vivamente.

Ana is een geweldige gastvrouw. Zij reageerde snel en vriendelijk op onze berichten en vragen. Niets is haar te veel om te helpen. Het huis is erg ruim en comfortabel. Door de ligging veel privacy. Op 150 meter afstand van twee kleine supermarkten. Kortom, wij hebben genoten van ons verblijf in haar huis.

Das war ein sehr schönes und sauberes Haus, stilvoll eingerichtet. Das Haus befindet sich in einer sehr ruhigen Lage. Eine praktische, geräumige Küche und die Betten sind bequem. Der Garten war perfekt für die Hunde und Kinder zum Spielen. Der Strand "Calada" ist ca. 5 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Zu Füß ist der Strand schlecht zugänglich. Wir haben in dieser Unterkunft einen Monat lang gelebt. Es gibt keine Waschmaschine aber man kann problemlos in einem Waschsalon fußläufig die Wäsche waschen. Es gibt auch keine Kleiderschränke in den Schlafzimmern. Ansonsten hat uns nichts gefehlt. Andrea ist ein freundlicher Gastgeber und hat immer schnell auf unsere Fragen reagiert. Auf uns erwartete ein sehr schöner Welcomekorb zur Begrüßung. Uns hat der Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft sehr gefallen und wir sagen Danke für eure Gastfreundschaft.

We were greeted with a big hug by Sofia who welcomed us to Ericeira Hills. Ericeira was the perfect landing spot for us as we traveled around touring 20+ towns & 21+ tours & sites visited. Our first trip to Portugal proved to us that the locals are very kind, friendly & willing to help out! The food was magnificent, views were just so beautiful, we could not have asked for a better location. A grocery & restaurant within a 3 min walk & a butcher within a 5 min walk. It was so neat to go into Ericeira & walk the cobblestone streets, watch surfers, & enjoy the incredible Atlantic coast from Portugal. I would recommend Aksel’s place for anyone wanting to settle in & immerse yourself into the Portuguese culture. So glad we did! Thanks to Aksel & his beautiful Ericeira Hills home, to Sofia for her help in answering any questions & to Stein for helping us rent a car. A truly wonderful trip & experience!!

We had a wonderful family holiday at Maverick Surf Villas. Lots to do in the local area, stunning coastline, definitely need a car, but its easy to get every where, roads are very quiet. The villa was beautiful, so much space and everything you could need. Hosts were very helpful, gave us lots of advice on the local area and hosted some lovely dinners. Thank you so much.

Excellent stay at Ana's place 5 minute drive to Ericeria, Portugal. Soaring ceilings, beautiful views, lots of space, private gated driveway and high end furnishings and decor. We were only 2 people and this home could easily accommodate many more. Gigantic dining room table overlooking the breathtaking living room. Would suggest to owner getting an internet repeater device. It has great connectivity but only in the back office which is the room furthest from the main area and very spotty coverage in the main part of the house. We are online a lot for work and was a minor drawback. Don't miss this home when in beautiful Portugal!

We had an amazing time at Magnus’ place. Such a beautiful setting and property. Any issues we had, Magnus was quick to resolve and was extremely friendly. He had some great advice for the local area. Would love to go back again one day.

The mountain views, the morning sunrise, simply beautiful. The villa had everything you cold need, it was pristine. Susan was amazing, she made sure we were comfortable and even went the extra mile on my birthday by bringing me the most beautiful flowers and arranging bikes for us to go for a ride. I’m planning my next visit and I can’t wait to

The U House has wonderful views and an amazing pool. José was extremely quick to respond to any queries, and was very friendly and helpful. Our group of two families had a great time there together.

Our group of 8 women had plenty of space in this clean and lovely home. The pool is great, though it was a little too cool for a swim this time. You can see the ocean from the house, and the neighborhood is modern and friendly. It's super close to many other little beach towns with good restaurants, grocery stores, etc. You would need a car to get around. We enjoyed a day trip to Obidos, just 30 minutes away. The house is modern and tasteful, very clean. Host was responsive and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

Second time my family and I have stayed. Beautiful location and views. The weather this time was not good but the villa was very comfortable and we were able to still use the BBQ & heated pool when it rained. Edou was always on hand to advise for locations to eat or buy local produce, surf, yoga or xfit - fantastic guy.

Très belle maison qui correspond bien aux photos. Il y a tout ce qu’il faut : linge de maison, cuisine très bien équipée, machine à laver et sèche linge, transats, plusieurs tables à différents endroits dehors pour s’adapter en fonction du soleil et du vent. Belle vue sur l’océan et vue sur le coucher du soleil depuis le toit. L’emplacement est assez isolé mais très agréable car très peu de voisins. A savoir, le coin peut être venteux/nuageux parfois (pas la même météo qu’à Lisbonne) mais ça permet d’avoir des nuits fraîches pour bien dormir! Seul bémol de la maison selon nous : petit problème d’humidité dans certaines chambres, mais largement supportable. Bref une très belle semaine, on reviendra avec plaisir!

Nous sommes ravis d’avoir fait la connaissance de Fernanda et Paulo. Ce sont des magnifiques personnes très à l’écoute, d’une gentillesse inégalable, disponible et réactifs ! La maison est très bien entretenue tout était très très propre ! Logement très beau, typique. La seule chose qui pourrait être améliorée ce sont les matelas qui ne sont pas à notre goût. L’emplacement est bien pour visiter Torres Vedras et nous sommes à 1 heure de Lisbonne ce qui permet d’y aller rapidement pour visiter. Elle est seulement à 15 / 20 minutes de belles plages. A beautiful house for a little getaway with family or friends. Diogo was a great host. Always there if we needed anything leading up to our stay and very welcoming on arrival. House is in a beautiful location if you enjoy the ocean and going on hikes.

The house is ideal for individuals and families who want to relax and spend time in private area in nature. Also Paulo was so kindly and generous, highly recommend it,

Vila Louro was a perfect home base for us in Silveira. We were a family of 12 people and rented the main house off the Vila. Other families were on site staying in the other parts of the rental. This was unnoticeable and sharing the common kitchen was never an issue. In fact, always interesting to meet people from other parts of the world! We prepared our breakfast each day and many dinners including charcoal barbecue. Philipe was an amazing host. He met us up on arrival and provided all information. He is friendly and provided amazing recommendations for local restaurants and beaches, which are 5-10minutes away. Many grocery amenities nearby also. The home is clean, spacious, and comfortable with a wonderful history...just ask him! Definitely recommend a stay here!

Nous étions 7 amis qui se retrouvaient à l’occasion d’un mariage et nous nous sommes régalés! La maison est superbe, une épicerie est à 5 mn en voiture, il y a beaucoup de vaisselle, chaque couple avait sa salle de bain. A refaire encore et encore!
