This home was a piece of heaven on earth during graduation week. It felt so good to have a homestead for our daughter to come to, and have all three generations of us together during such a special time.

We enjoyed our stay in this very peaceful lakeside setting. There is an attached deck to the house, a lower level patio with table and firepit, and stairs to lake level, to accomodate all physical abilities in having an enjoyable time here. The home is well stocked and very comfortable. The road is nice for taking walks. Thank-you Michelle!

We had to make a last-minute trip to Ithaca with the family. Melissa confirmed quickly and was available for any questions we had. The place is nicely situated on the lake, and very relaxing and peaceful with nice water views. I'd highly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful time in Trumansburg, and the surrounding area, celebrating 40th birthdays of my sister and her husband. The moon on the water and the sun rises were breathtaking! Andy was super helpful and responsive to my many questions-great host! The house was so tastefully decorated and our only regret was not having more time at the house. We loved watching the sunrise on the dock, the stairs made it even more adventurous. Taughannock gorge was beautiful and is a must see! Great time at the wineries too!

Wow! What a nice place! Close to downtown Ithaca and a short drive to Cornell. Best part of all: gorgeous views of Lake Cayuga and access to the lake. We loved it! Many Ithaca AirBnBs are dark and dreary. Not this place! It was bright and beautiful. Be sure you can navigate steps effectively, because you’ll need to take many to get to this AirBnB. The benefit is that this place is quiet and secluded. Thanks for the great stay!

This place has a sweeping lake view from a bay front window, a patio, both queen bedrooms, another patio and the dock. the picture don't do it justice. The dock has a picnic table - if you're not using it, you're missing out! There's two single person kayaks and a double kayak, as well as a a stand-up paddle board, which makes this place an amazing value and are close enough to Ithaca (about a mile) that you could reasonably paddle to a landing at Truman Marine Park or Stewart Park. This place is down approximately 90 steps - pack light.

We loved our stay on the lake. The house was as described and had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed having use of the kayaks and waking up to beautiful views of the lake. I hope we can stay again!

This is a great location for a weekend spent visiting Ithaca, Cornell, enjoying the Apple Festival, and seeing all the gorges and the waterfalls. The leaves are turning and the fall colors are spectacular. We even went swimming in the chilly lake!

We enjoyed this location! The host was responsive, helpful and friendly. She was able to give us some recommendations on things to do within a reasonable distance, and a little history of the area. While on our trip, we got engaged, so this area now has a special place in our hearts. It was just the right amount of room. Beautiful and cozy. We enjoyed our stay!

I stayed at Jamie's place with two other girl friends from my doctoral program to progress thesis writing. The apartment was very comfortable and the internet was reliable. We were a short walk from some nice places to eat so we could also enjoy Geneva (Cosentino's and Eddie O'Briens Grille & Bar). Jamie was very responsive and flexible. The whole weekend was a great experience and we are very thankful. The only issue we had is that the bar was showing the Miami football game and not the Syracuse game. They graciously changed channels on one TV at our request but what is wrong with this town.....supporting a Florida team over the 'Cuse??? Go Orange!!!! If you stay at Jamie's, strongly suggest coffee for a sunrise or your favorite beverage for a sunset in the cupola...you can see the whole quaint town and the lake in the distance. ...so serene.

The location is great—right by the lake with stunning views. The apartment was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The host was responsive and made sure our stay was comfortable. Highly recommend this spot for a peaceful getaway

Jason's place was very clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed our stay. The bed was comfortable, and the bedroom and bathroom linens were particularly nice. It was a cool weekend, and we appreciated the extra blanket and space heater when we were relaxing during the day. The building is older, so there are some quirky things about it. The corridor and stairway are quite steep and narrow, so it would be challenging for someone with mobility issues. We had a little bit of trouble finding the house at night and finding nearby parking, but the area feels safe. Jason's communication was excellent. Thank you for a great stay!

Loved staying at the cottage! Very peaceful, perfect for one person or a couple visiting Geneva. Quick drive to town but in a quiet area. Would absolutely stay here again!

Our Sister provided this wonderful place to stay in for our Nephews Wedding. Even the visit was short it was a wonderful place to stay Geneva has a wonderful feeling super nice people and unbelievable food. We are planning a trip back to this area ❤️

Lovely stay with super responsive host. I was a little confused which door to use at check in but Stephanie responded immediately and I got in with no issues. The place is perfectly appointed! So much roomier and cuter than you expect from the pictures. Really, it is lovely inside! A welcome bottle of wine from a local vineyard was there as well :) I have severe food allergies so always need a kitchen to prep my food and this one had everything I needed. The bedroom had plenty of storage to unpack and the bed was really comfy. I slept great! Two things of note (they don’t detract, just be aware): 1. Steps are steep going down and up, and pavers uneven, and there is a step to enter the bathroom. Something to be aware of if you have limited mobility. 2. Wifi available but pretty weak. I would not have been able to work using the cottage wifi. Again, doesn’t detract, just be aware. I was so pleased with the cottage and the experience with the host!!! 5 stars all the way!!!!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful Peggy’s boat house is. This is my second time staying here and I have never stayed at the same ABB twice. This time I brought the kids because I wanted to share the beauty of this place and Ithaca and I knew they would love it. Sitting on the dock fishing and enjoying the views on Cayuga lake is so peaceful and relaxing. Peggy is a very welcoming host and keeps the place very tidy. There are so many things to do. Ithaca Falls is a very short drive away. Buttermilk Falls is a bit further away (not much) and is a beautiful hike. Great restaurants are nearby. I love the area and would love to come back someday.

Beautiful house on the lake. Excellent communication with the hosts. Lots to do in the area, kayaking, hiking, enjoying the scenery, and great breweries! Parking was a little tricky on some of the nights, but Will and Alicia responded right away when we had questions! Highly recommend!

Thank you for our wonderful stay this weekend. Your place is the quintessential lake cottage. Everything we needed was supplied and at our fingertips, without being overrun with “stuff.” Well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. It was a cool, rainy weekend and we took full advantage of the bedroom fireplaces and extra blankets! Would love to come back to enjoy summer-time at your place. Thank you!

Ramsey was an excellent host, very responsive and considerate. We lived in Interlaken for 20 years and came back for the weekend with the whole family and staying at Ramsey’s cottage felt like we were right back at home. Highly recommend this cottage to anyone who wants to wake up to peaceful mornings on the lake, close access to wineries and breweries, and a few mile drive into downtown Trumansburg!

This is a cute 1940s cabin right by the lake. It's not fancy, but it's right by the lake and sheltered by big old trees. It's also well equipped with kitchen utensils and kindling for the firepit, plus kayaks and life vests and pretty much everything we wanted for an outdoor weekend. I wish more lake houses were still like this! Nearby Milliken Station coal power plant shut down in 2019, so the railroad tracks for the coal deliveries are grown over with wildflowers and it's quite picturesque. Jenny notes that the water is not considered potable, however (related?), so make sure you bring drinking water! We had a fun time visiting Bright Leaf Vineyard, Aurora Shoe Co, and Aurora Brewing, and wandering around the town of Aurora (restored by the founder of American Girl Dolls), even though her alma mater Wells College is closing.

Can’t beat this location right on Lake Cayuga, still close to downtown Ithaca, wineries, and hiking! House is exactly as advertised, a peaceful cottage on the lake. Yes there are 85 steps, and they are a lot, but worth it for the lake views! Beth was very responsive and helped us out right away with a neighbor’s dog barking at night. Thanks Beth for a great stay!!

Beautiful location! Kitchen and living room space wonderful with great views of the lake. Lots of stairs to get in and out, since it’s nestled on the slope near the docks, but we got our steps in! Also located close to the scenic falls and parks, and very convenient to Cornell Campus and downtown Ithaca. Host was super too. We had everything we needed and more.

Christine is a wonderful host. She was very responsive to any questions and was a pleasure to talk to. The cottage had an amazing view right on the water and there are kayaks and other floaters to use. The cottage itself was so comfortable, clean and felt like home. It was very clean and well stocked with all the necessities. A favorite is the screened in room overlooking the lake. Definitely recommend a stay.

We had a wonderful weekend on the lake at Don’s cabin. We would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy all that Ithaca has to offer and then within minutes be alone at a peaceful lake retreat. We can’t wait to book again.
