Had a fabulous 2 nights at the cottage with my Mum. The cottage was cosy, warm and the beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed cooking a meal in one night and the other we drove 5 minutes to the local pub which served great food. We enjoyed 2 days hiking, the location was perfect for us. Coming back to a hot tub was the best feeling when you legs and feet are aching! The cottage it surrounded by fields and sheep, it was absolutely stunning. Amy was really helpful with any questions we had. Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at mini-moon. The cottage was modern, light and clean. The modern interior and home comforts made our stay feel luxurious. The copper bath is a lovely touch. Everything you needed was supplied. Nicola was a fantastic host, she was available whenever you needed her.

We had a lovely 4-night stay at Teapot Cottage over Easter 2025. The property was clean, comfortable, and had everything our family of five needed. The location was peaceful and picturesque—perfect for a relaxing break. The hot tub was a highlight—clean and ready to enjoy on arrival which was great for unwinding in the evenings. Inside, everything was well-equipped, from the kitchen to the cosy living areas. Communication from the host, Lammisa, was excellent throughout. Clear instructions were provided, and she was quick to respond to any questions. We’d happily recommend this place to others and would definitely return for another family getaway. Thank you again for a lovely stay!

Absolutely stunning location. The lodge had everything we needed for a short break. There was plenty of space inside and the hot tub was fab. Location was very close to everything you’d want to do in Northumberland. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful cottage extremely well located in Windermere. The place is very well looked after and the hosts make you feel very welcome. The instructions are detailed and helpful. The only small critic I have is that the 2x double beds are only 140cm, which is small for grown up people.

Absolutely perfect! We love staying here, it has everything you need to feel immediately at home, relaxed and comfortable. The surrounding countryside is just beautiful and the views from the hot tub are what makes staying here even more special! Catherine and Ian are very attentive hosts and Catherine was very responsive to any questions we had. We love this cottage and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, private, relaxing and very special place to stay in the Lake District.

All good but I have to comment the bed mattresses were a little too hard for us all.

We had a lovely stay, the cottage was just as described & felt very homely on our arrival. The cottage was very suitable for our dogs with great access to walks & a nice garden. We will definitely be returning for another stay

We absolutely loved our Christmas at Seaglass Cottage. The hosts were great, answered any questions, gave us detailed instructions for check-in and even put up a Christmas tree and decorations for us. We were very lucky with the weather, enjoying walks along the beach right outside, we even found some seaglass (we felt like children!). The property was very clean, the bedding smelled so fresh, the kitchen had everything you might need, very clean bathroom and handy downstairs loo. Every evening we would sit in the cosy conservatory enjoying a glass of wine, watching the sun go down, people walking along the beachpath with their dogs and then into the lounge for a real log fire. It was perfect and we can't wait to return!
