If I could, I’d leave 10 stars instead of 5! This place is absolutely exceptional. The house is beautifully decorated, with every detail carefully thought out to ensure maximum comfort for guests. The highlight of my stay was the home-cooked meals offered by the host – delicious, fresh, and made with love, adding a truly unique touch to the experience. The host was incredibly warm and attentive, making sure I felt right at home. The house is located in a peaceful area on the stunning Australian countryside, offering a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. This is without a doubt one of the best places I’ve ever stayed!

We had such a beautiful and relaxing 2-night stay in Jillamatong house! The interiors were absolutely lovely—stylish, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. Everything was spotless and well cared for. The beds were incredibly comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep. We loved unwinding in the sauna and hot tub - it was the perfect way to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We'd love to come back again!

We had a fantastic stay in Crackenback at the cottage - the kitchen had everything we needed and lots of space for the whole family. The outlook over the fields was amazing with horses, kangaroos and deer to keep us all entertained. The location was great to explore the surrounding area and we especially enjoyed the Wild Brumby distillery just a few minutes away. The only downside was the proximity of the separate studio which meant we could hear everything from the family of 3 staying there with two very large dogs.

The Windy Fig Farm Cosy 2-Bedroom Cottage with Hot Tub stands out as a top choice if your seeking a peaceful, clean, and affordable getaway in the Snowy Mountains. this is the one !

Chris and Anton were great hosts. They responded to any questions we had promptly and made us feel welcome.

We really loved this cottage – it gave us a sense of being close to nature, just like camping, but with the comfort of a warm and cozy home. There was plenty of space and privacy, and we saw so many animals during our stay: deer, kangaroos, rabbits, and lots of birds. Our favourite part was the fireplace – it kept us warm and made the whole experience even more special. Thank you Gary, will definitely come back again.

I’m hesitant to share how amazing this place is so I can gatekeep it as our hidden gem. We stayed in Gary’s beautiful country cottage and are now questioning city living. The house itself is incredibly cosy and was the perfect size for our family. Being slightly out of Jindabyne meant our crazy toddler could live his best life climbing the rocks, running through the paddock and watching the planes/helicopters take off while still being exceptionally quite and private. It is perfectly situated the get into the national park without the fuss and into Jindy for meals and drinks with ease. 10/10 recommend Gary’s place.

Ron & Sarah's place is in the most beautiful location and the viewing decks are perfect for wine & a grazing platter as the afternoon moves into evening. They are lovely hosts and Ron was especially courteous. Our apartment was upstairs & he carried the bags up. The beds were comfy and we slept soundly. Thanks guys.

Amazing stay in moonbah for our family skii trip. Richards house had everything that we needed, in a beautiful picturesque spot, super comfy beds, we would definitely visit again. Perfect place for older teens with the loft retreat, from Moonbah we explored Berridale, Dalgety and Jindabyne close to all amenities and 40 mins to Perisher. Thanks Richard for being a great host and we will miss your little fluffy highland 🐮

Our stay at Prudence's was terrific. The beautiful and peaceful surrounds, warm and inviting hosts and cosy, well-equipped guest house led to an excellent stay. It was exactly what we needed with our little dog and we really enjoyed everything. Thank you

Snowy Mountain cabins…the name is a bit genera, we think it should mention Towong up front and/or Upper Murray. We know it’s not easy. whatever the name is Sara and Ron have made it and do make it the perfect stopover for general cycling group. They went to extra lengths to accommodate our needs, our persons and our bikes and gear. We left refreshed, re-energized and keen for the next days riding. Fabulous!

Maurice’s cottage was ideal for our short break. It was comfortable, exceptionally clean and beautifully presented. The inclusions were high quality and provided everything necessary for our stay. The instruction manual was comprehensive and clear and everything was in good working order. Maurice had really thought of everything and checked in on us to make sure all was well. We would certainly stay there again.

What a lovely peaceful location. We had a wonderful relaxing stay and enjoyed the quiet scenery. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Louise was an amazing host, easygoing, looking after us and checking everything was ok, taking us to see the animals, sharing eggs with us and quick to respond. Thankyou for a wonderful stay and we would love to come back another time!

I had a truly fantastic stay with Ron and Sarah. The cottage itself was just incredible, built by Ron, and his work is amazing. Everything you would need as a guest is there; fully equipped kitchen, plenty of relaxing space, comfy bed and I think the fact it even has aircon is incredible. Plenty of windows as well, with bug screens so you can get a nice airflow through. Unbelievable views all round the property, the veranda out the back is an amazing place to sit with a cold beer after a day out and about! I cannot speak highly enough of Ron as a host. Absolutely incredible gent, so welcoming and friendly to chat with. He gave me so many fantastic recommendations to do in the local area and lent me a bike to do an incredible cycle in the local area. Nothing was too much and he would always be lovely and chatty when I saw him around the property. I wish I could have stayed for more than just 2 nights and would definitely love to return again!

From the moment we drove through the farm gate, the beauty of the surroundings brought a feeling of calm. The cottage was very comfortable, well appointed and beds were warm and comfortable.. Jennifer met us on arrival and we had a great tour of the surroundings and also a run down on their history on the property. We would not hesitate to stay with Jennifer again.
