This beautiful historic home of one the area's founding families has been restored to perfection. A must-see for history nuts and folks that just love beautiful homes.

Walking distance. Built in 1839 in the historic East Town District, the White Home was one of the first homes constructed in Rock Hill. Evolving from a small one room house in the early 19th century, the home was added to and remodeled over some forty years. Five generations of the White family lived in the home until it was purchased by Historic Rock Hill in 2005. Members of the family were instrumental in the development of Rock Hill and helped guide the town's future through the Civil War, WWI, the devastating tornado of 1926, WWII and through the civil rights era that changed America. ** Admission
