Sandra and Rob are always really kind, thoughtful and helpful hosts and it is a pleasure to stay with them.

we had a lovely break at the foxes den shepherds hut . The views are amazing and the area is beautiful . everything was as explained by Viki and it couldn't have ran any smoother. Our Shepherds Hut was Very Clean and beautifully decorated and the Easter Eggs were a lovely touch. We will certainly be back and would reccomend to anyone who wishes to explore the beautiful Devon countryside and Coast line.

Penny and Ant real nice people . If you want to unwind and go back to nature this is the place . The views and silence is perfect it’s a remedy . No 42” TV with mobile sockets everywhere this is off grid bliss , fabulous comfy bed in the hut and great shed for cooking , if your a 70s kid you’ll appreciate the shower and toilet , brilliant . Not just an over night stay but an experience of how things should be , regards Alan .

Just returned from yet another stay at The Glade, it never fails to be amazing. My son has spent his past 2 birthdays here with me and explains that it is his favourite place. We love the hammock, woods, quiet, solitude and my sons favourite thing is waking up to the birds singing. This place is truly a haven! Remember to take your binoculars as there are an abundance of birds to see. I noticed this stay that there is a nesting pair of Nuthatches nesting in the tree directly in front of the kitchen window. Spent lots of time watching those go in and out and tidy their nest. The Glade is equipped with everything you need and Juliet is on hand if you need anything else. Lovely place and I cannot say enough good things about it. We will be back again soon. Liane, Roo and Peggy-sue.

An ideally located cabin with beautiful surroundings it was so peaceful and tranquil we couldn't of asked for any more the cabin was spotlessly clean and very well equipped just sitting in the hot tub with a drink watching the sun set was amazing we will definatly be going back

Fantastic location & very warm & comfortable with amazing views, great little kitchen & facilities, 5* get-a-way.

Perfect location for exploring Shaldon and Teignmouth, the hut was cosy but had everything you needed, toilets and showers were seconds away and were v. clean, would say the bed was a bit hard but all in all was very happy with my stay and would recommend!

A fantastic stay, a beautiful location totally quiet from the surroundings. The actual place is perfect, the fire instantly warms the whole area and will last for hours. Everything you can need is provided ready and James and Megan reply and offer help before you can think of it! Fantastic place would love to stay again!

Absolutely beautiful stay! Everything right on your doorstep. Beautiful outside space around the hut. Everything clean and tidy inside. Can see the sea from bedroom window. Gill was very communicative, her recommendations were very helpful. Couldn’t recommend Gills place enough!

This is the second time we stayed at the cabin, and it was just as wonderful as the first time. It’s such a peaceful place where you can truly relax. I loved sitting with a coffee in the morning listening to the birds and wildlife surrounding us. The bed was super cosy and warm and we both slept amazingly well. There are so many places to go that are nearby as you’re just on the edge of Dartmoor, we did a lot of walking! We highly recommend staying here, we never want to leave!

We had a wonderful stay at Lecina’s cabin. The place was spotless, cosy and set in a beautiful area surrounded by fields. It was quiet, peaceful and private. Lecina was so helpful and welcoming, with lots of recommendations on what we can do with our dog in the area. All amenities you could possibly need are provided & the dog even had everything supplied, including treats! We wouldn’t hesitate to come back, thank you very much for a fantastic, relaxing stay - Biggie the Dachshund also rates 5 stars! 😊

♥︎ Highly recommend The Little Hut ♥︎ So neat and secluded, a big space opposite to wander freely and run the dog. Great provisions inside inc. tea, coffee and lovely smelling toiletries. The hot tub was a treat with a beautiful view, even amid the rain, and easy to use with all you needed supplied for the weekend. Sarah was lovely to communicate with and I’d love to stay again. Second visit this year💗 This place well and truly has my heart. I’ve never been anywhere in my life that I have felt so peaceful then this place (and I have travelled to so many beautiful countries). Dreamview Shepherd Hut are absolutely breathtaking, I could not recommend them enough. If your contemplating booking, don’t think just book it you won’t be disappointed. Melanie has thought of every little detail you could possibly need. I love this place so much, from sitting in the hot tub watching the stars to laying in bed with the cosy fire lit. I don’t ever want to leave this place. Please keep these huts forever!💗 Thank you so much Melanie and family - you have truly out done yourselves with this venue. And please keep this place forever 💗 P.s - would recommend Culm Valley Inn for food (about 8 minutes from venue)

We had a wonderful stay at Caroline's place. the location was so peaceful with beautiful views. The cabin was perfectly clean throughout. The communication was great with easy to follow instructions to get there and check in. Caroline was a great host, we would happily stay there again.

A wonderful stay in a peaceful and cosy cabin. A fantastic wood fired hot tub and a great location both location in the countryside and easy travel around Devon.

I took my boyfriend to Fiona’s hut for his birthday to get away from the busy city & life! It was exactly that & more, the hut is so amazing, it has everything you need and the bed is so unbelievably comfortable I’ve asked for the details of the pillows!! It was the perfect getaway, the hot tub was amazing & if you turn the lights off you can enjoy the starry skies! The pony’s are super cute & friendly! Honestly it was so much more than what we were expecting. The hut is so homely and cosy! Fiona is also an amazing host, she is very responsive & friendly! We will definitely be back! Also the milk!!! The milk that is provided by Fiona is amazing!! It is super thick and creamy! Just every little detail has be thought through! Thank you so much for such an amazing weekend! X

Great place to get away from it all, with easy distance from Dartmoor and other surrounding walks. The area is great for dogs to play around. Our dog is very anxious so was great to have his own little area to run around in! The hut itself is cosy, with everything we needed. Even staying in February the hut was warm and shower was perfect and hot. Great after a cold walk.

The cowshed is so peaceful! And brilliant to sit outside with the fire pit and bathtub, especially if you are lucky enough for a starry night. Susan was lovely at check in and has thought of lots of wonderful details that made the stay extra special. We did not want to leave. Look forward to returning again soon!

We had the most wonderful stay at the hut in the woods. It’s a beautiful, cosy, well made space. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom is lovely with a powerful shower. It’s a lovely setting in the woods with a fire pit and stream at the bottom. I agree with other reviews that sleeping might be a push for 3 adults, but it worked very well for us with our 4 year old son. There is so much to do in the wider area, Dartmoor, bike rides, national trust, Bude, and loads we didn’t have time for. The owners have good local knowledge and made some great recommendations.

The location of the hideaway was stunning, very private and overall very relaxing. Check in instructions were clear, directions were clear. The hut itself was very clean and had all the appliances that we needed. When we arrived the Hot tub was already filled and heated with clear intrusions on how to use. This little getaway was exactly what we needed to decompress and relax in the country side. Surrounded by birds, wild life and various animals. Jeni was very helpful, quick and responding, welcoming and friendly. Overall a fan experience, would definitely recommend and come back again.

We had the most luxurious weekend just before Christmas. Brilliant hosts. Stunning location, looking out over the valley, watching the alpacas roam. The hut feels very private, down its own little footpath. The 2-person hot tub isn't overlooked by anyone else and no one would ever pass by (unless they were lost). Robes and towels provided. The hut is very cosy and warm - even when we only used the heated towel rail. The wood burner is fantastic (wood supplied free of charge). The bed folds down from the wall into the space where the table/benches are. Cooking facilities are two hobs and a microwave, with all pans/utensils we needed. Fantastic shared facilities as well: we used the indoor pool and table tennis - although it was hard to peel ourselves away from our beloved hut! We were there during a mega storm and (a) the hut stayed super cosy and (b) Simon and Claire were super responsive when the storm knocked out the water pump. What a fantastic weekend - can't wait to go back!

Ruby retreat was perfect. Wonderful location, peaceful and private. The shepherds hut was just as described and came with everything you need including some fresh bread, eggs and milk. would definitely recommend
