The place was perfect for our group of 7 adults. Four large bedrooms and three baths. The kitchen was well equipped and the living area was comfortably furnished. John was the perfect host. He kept in contact throughout our stay in case we needed anything. He provided us with recommendations on restaurants and things to do in the area. Lots of great hiking not far from the house. Everyone had a great time and are looking forward to a return trip.

Loved this home! Specifically the architecture and cabin style decor. Located near the running river and surrounded by trees this place is perfect for settling in and relaxing. Enjoyed all the amenities and also explored Callicoon and other towns nearby. Would recommend to anyone and would love to return!

My partner and I enjoyed our little quick much needed getaway. Cabin was quaint and comfortable. Hot tub with a full moon overlooking the river was so peaceful. Lots of wildlife, even a pair of Eagles made an appearance. Nearby hiking during the day and delicious dinner in town at night. Erica was great in sending messages a few days prior with recommendations of where to dine and visit. Much needed escape was worth it!

My wife and I had a wonderful birthday getaway. We got to bring our 2 cats who got the best safe outdoor experience. Having a little waterfall next to us made it heavenly. The heater in the tiny cabin worked way better than expected which made the experience much more comfortable. It was romantic, unique, relaxing, and memorable. I also have to mention the sign Sam made to welcome us. It was so thoughtful! Never had that before!

Beautiful modern cabin in an ideal nature setting. Hot tub and sauna were perfect! The night sky was stunning ! Great restaurants, hiking, farms all within 10 minutes. Perfect 2 day get away! Amazing host. Extremely responsive.

I only wish we could have stayed longer. We have visited this area many times, but this is our first staying here. The house was charming, cozy, and comfortable. I loved the bedding, and the sound of Esopus Creek was truly healing in a stressful time. The check-in and check-out was very straightforward, and we loved looking at the stars while using the hot tub. I enjoyed looking through the books and marvelous cd collection, and we plan to return as soon as I have a day off again. I had actually driven past this home several times when camping and hiking in the area, but never stopped. Grateful I found this unique home!

We had a great time at Rashmi’s place - the grounds are enormous and so well taken care of. We loved the fire pit and enjoyed cooking in the kitchen as well. Our doggie had a blast too! Thank you Rashmi!

Very nice place, if you’re thinking doing a getaway to somewhere peaceful and quiet,celebration or get together this is the place you’re looking for. The Owners are very nice, great communication. Looking for something to hike or fishing, this is also the place you can look for many nearby places. Overall experience is very nice place to stay, very clean, a lot of comfort in the house. Will sure comeback again!

Esme is a great host! Super responsive and friendly. The cottage is cute and cozy, as described. It's definitely a place to recommend!

This Airbnb is truly something special. If you're a fan of mid-century modern design, you’ll be in heaven—the aesthetic is gorgeous, and honestly, it feels a bit too nice to be a rental. It's incredibly generous of Jenny to open this space up to others. The backyard is breathtaking—peaceful, private, and serene. I could have spent the entire trip out there, flipping through books with the soothing sound of the creek in the background. The Japanese hot tub was the cherry on top. I loved it far more than a typical hot tub. It requires some effort and planning to get just right, which, for me, made the experience even more rewarding. That said, I can imagine it wouldn’t be for everyone. This place gets my highest recommendation—though I hesitate to say that because I selfishly want it to be available the next time I book. Thank you, Jenny, for sharing your beautiful home.

Anastasia's cabin is a delight and very cosy. It was a lovely stay and Anastasia was extremely helpful to make it even easier. Highly recommend.

Beautiful location...nice and quiet. 7 or 8 mins to woodstock. Decorated seemingly professionally. All the appointments (convennces) you could ask for.

Maria and Max’s place was everything we dreamed of! It was a nice seclude, a cabin with a large backyard and a wonderful fire pit. We loved the decor inside the house, the beds were extremely comfortable, and everything was as described. It’s in a great location approximately 20 to 30 minute drive to multiple cute small towns in Catskills. We can’t wait to bring our friends back next time!

We had a great time at Ashley’s house! Such an idyllic setting for this little well appointed woods cabin. We had everything we needed, and Ashley and her team were very responsive and proactive. The driveway can definitely be a bit treacherous in bad weather but it wasn’t an issue for us. Everything was as described, just what we were looking for - a quick, quiet, easy getaway with woods and privacy, plenty of space for the kiddos to run around and lots of cozy memories made! Well worth the trek north for us.

We loved our stay at Joe & Barb's place! The cabin is delightful; beautiful surrounds, peaceful and quiet while being just a short drive from the amenities of New Paltz. Joe gave us great tips for nearby hikes, and we enjoyed a tour of the veggie garden (with full credit to Barb the gardener!), and hearing about the sustainability/eco-friendly initiatives of the property. I hate to leave this review because I want to keep this hidden gem a secret but this host and property are AMAZING!! Private and secluded with so much to do on the property! We jumped from the game cabin, to fishing, to the multiple fire pits, to relaxing on the deck…my 4 kids ages 13-21 never got bored , even on the rainy days. Going from the spa then out to the hot tub under the canopy of trees was so relaxing. The cabin itself is clean, spacious and beautiful and the personal touches make it so cozy. The sound of the stream while you sleep at night is just so peaceful. Our host was very responsive and although we have stayed at some beautiful Airbnb’s - the care this host puts into this property is exceptional. My family and I are all feeling rejuvenated and my pups are exhausted, it was perfect!

Stayed one night and loved it—super cute spot! The alpacas and animals were fun to be around, and waking up to a foggy spring morning with the big window was v pretty. No running water takes a little getting used to, but it was totally fine for a night and was communicated clearly in advance. Great location—feels nice and remote but still close to town.

Perfect Little Romantic Getaway Spot I stayed at Birch Creek House recently and honestly didn’t want to leave. It’s super cozy and tucked right next to a creek, so you’ve got that peaceful water sound going the whole time — total vibe. The place was really clean, had everything I needed, and felt super homey. The bed was comfy, the kitchen was stocked, and it was just a great space to relax. They even had board games and puzzles there for us! It’s quiet and private but still close enough to little towns and hiking spots if you want to explore a bit. Highly recommend Kaaterskills Falls! I do wish there was a curtain or some way to cover the big window in the living room — just for a little more privacy at night. And while I missed having a microwave to quickly reheat food, it kind of added to that “living in nature” vibe, having to warm things up the old-school way. Overall, it was a peaceful, refreshing stay. I’ll definitely be back!

A beautiful lakefront cabin tucked away from it all offered a perfect place to relax and enjoy nature. Would totally visit again. Plenty of firewood was a great perk. Loved it!

Koya is such a beautiful and peaceful cabin to retreat to. Kiko was so helpful and quick with every response. We came into a thoughtful arrangement of goodies that welcomed us into the cabin. The views were breathtaking, the cabin was cozy. We brought food and had everything needed to where we didn’t have to leave at all. We felt at home. We will definitely return in the future.

Evelyn made our weekend super special. My friends and I surprised my boyfriend for his birthday at Evelyn’s lovely cabin. There was 9 guests and she accommodated us by allowing us to rent both her cabin and the adjacent cottage for maximum space and comfortability. The cabin was a dream surrounded by wildflowers, magical trees and lovely scents. I will be visiting again as soon as I can!
