James was such a kind and responsive host. The house felt so cozy and welcoming. They even provide fluffy robes and super comfy sandals, which was such a nice touch. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook, and there were extra blankets too. I really enjoyed reading a book in the living room by the river, the peaceful nature around is just breathtaking. This place truly helped me slow down and feel recharged. Even though it was a short stay, I absolutely loved it. Everything was clean and welcoming. I wish I had more time to enjoy it all, especially the hot tub! Looking forward to coming back soon.

Caitlin's place looked exactly like the photos. It was on a beautiful hilltop location that felt secluded and private and yet it was only minutes from town. There were great views from every room, and while every room had floor to ceiling windows, we felt miles away from other people. The kitchen was a joy to cook in and we enjoyed building a fire in the fireplace and chilling out on the couch. We tried to get the wood fired hot tub going, but it was quite a challenge and we eventually gave up and just enjoyed the fire ring. We felt like we had everything we needed and Caitlin was an excellent host and very responsive.

My husband, daughter and I, along with my friend and her family had a beautiful stay. The home is soacious, peaceful and gas everything you need. John was very responsive, we're low maintenance travelers so we didnt need much. The hot tub was heated and ready when we arrived. We used the oven toasters, the kitchen was filled with housewares. If you're into yoga/mind body connection there's lots of books to read and relax. We played cornhole outside. John had firewood reasy. The fire place is beautiful and easy to use. Locally we ebjoyed The Outpost, Fox and Hare Brewery, The Eldred. I can go on and on.

This Airbnb is truly something special. If you're a fan of mid-century modern design, you’ll be in heaven—the aesthetic is gorgeous, and honestly, it feels a bit too nice to be a rental. It's incredibly generous of Jenny to open this space up to others. The backyard is breathtaking—peaceful, private, and serene. I could have spent the entire trip out there, flipping through books with the soothing sound of the creek in the background. The Japanese hot tub was the cherry on top. I loved it far more than a typical hot tub. It requires some effort and planning to get just right, which, for me, made the experience even more rewarding. That said, I can imagine it wouldn’t be for everyone. This place gets my highest recommendation—though I hesitate to say that because I selfishly want it to be available the next time I book. This place was so perfect for what we wanted - a family-friendly weekend escape to nature! There is no cell service (verizon), but the wifi was flawless. The house feels very private, surrounded by woods, and it has a beautiful view of the pond and distant hills. You can sit on the porch and hear nothing but wind, birds, and frogs. The amenities really shine here - a wood fired sauna, wood fired hot tub, and a cold plunge! The house instructions were very detailed on how to make everything function well, and the host was extremely responsive! They even offered a pack and play since we were coming with our baby. The place was very clean, and beds were comfortable. I liked that the only tv was down in the basement, so we mostly stayed upstairs to enjoy quality time and nature. We could definitely come back with a larger group and spread out to make the most of the space, but the 4 of us were quite happy having the run of the house.

This is our second time staying at The Blue House of Catskills - we had another great time! Everything is very clean & cozy and the house/kitchen is well-stocked. We enjoyed using the soaking tub, hanging out on the deck/in the yard, and walking around the neighborhood and nearby lake. Lots of friendly deer walking around and we even saw a beaver! We had two people in each bedroom and two people in the living room on the two couches - it's the perfect space for 6 adults! There's local shopping, food, and the site/museum for The Woodstock Music and Art Fair is a quick drive away. Love this upstate escape and can't wait to return again!

Thank you so much for an incredible stay! My partner and I really took advantage of the peace and quiet to relax. The jacuzzi was our favorite part, along with the beautiful scenery. The heated tiles in the bathroom also added a special touch during the April chilliness. The bed and sheets were soft and comfortable. Waking up with the sun rise and the mountains in the distance was so refreshing. Our first night, all around the cabin was covered in snow and it was like a Winter Wonderland. The moonlight reflecting off the snow was magical. The following day, the sun came out and melted all the snow, revealing so much greenery. We were able to walk around the property and explore in the forest a bit, admiring a closer view of the pond. We made pasta on the stove and managed to get anything we needed from an Aldi, 10 min. away. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to get away from everything to get some peace and quiet! Julie's place was the perfect winter getaway. The fireplace, hot tub and sauna warmed us and the very well-equipped kitchen enabled us to prepare great meals. The house was beautiful, with two living rooms for different activities and energy levels, a game room downstairs, a dining room with a large table and chairs, and comfortable furniture and beds throughout. Julie texted me to make sure that our every need was met. We had a snow and ice storm, and she had the driveway and walkways plowed, shoveled and sanded twice, and kept plenty of salt on-hand. We hope to return sometime in warmer weather so we can enjoy the pond, too.

Debra and Mike are such warm friendly hosts who really care about your stay and maintain the property so well The house was perfect for us and another family, really charming clean and cozy, and so fun for the kids. Kitchen was very well stocked and had lots of cookware and tools Kids had so much rummaging through their play stuff they have around the spacious living room and running around the well maintained outdoor area, plus a cute shallow pond that kids love to explore Endless firewood for bonfires or the indoor wood oven, all nearly stacked around the property. They’re also so helpful, even helped us with our car keys mishap gladly in the middle of their dinner :) We had a great time and would definitely come back!

Great location with a great host, Bridie’s home is a wonderful place to experience NY state. From the privacy and comfort, to the peacefulness of the area, this was a much needed relief from the city life. Bridie as a host was very accommodating, had great recommendations and info about the local area, and made our stay welcome to where I’d recommend to anyone considering!

Maria and Max’s place was everything we dreamed of! It was a nice seclude, a cabin with a large backyard and a wonderful fire pit. We loved the decor inside the house, the beds were extremely comfortable, and everything was as described. It’s in a great location approximately 20 to 30 minute drive to multiple cute small towns in Catskills. We can’t wait to bring our friends back next time!

Really cute place. Comfortable beds and Sofas. The propane fire place was ideal. It was cold and icy when we stayed and we pretty much stayed in the whole time. It felt very warm and cozy. John was very responsive and helpful, he made the whole experience very easy for us.

Susie's cabin is legitimately amazing. We were going for a rustic weekend out in the woods--and Susie's place delivered. Clean, warm, cozy, comfortable, with a great deck and BBQ grill/fire pit out back. There is a little store right next to the cabin, grocery stores very close, and a butcher if you have a grilling/BBQ night in mind. Susie herself was also lovely and was very sweet and responsive. Would highly recommend--particularly for a couple from NYC who is looking for a change of pace for a few days. Susie's cabin is also very easy to get to.

Wonderful stay beautiful house , the sunroom gives you an opportunity to relax among nature which was exactly what we were looking for during this getaway would love to return during warmer weather. The record player was a nice touch I even found a record with a song titled just like my full name crazy coincidence was nice to spend my bday listening to these old records. Kevin’s dacha was wonderfully homey, abundantly well-equipped, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The Eastern European decor and theme was inspiring and lovely for us. The wood stove, book collection, and game collection were major highlights for us that made the weekend. The instructions and local guide provided were perfect— we ended up using the suggestions provided heavily— and Kevin was super responsive and helpful when needed. Honestly, one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had! Thanks so much for such a wonderful stay!!

Perfect location for a small family looking for a ski weekend at big bear. Conveniently location just a quarter mile away from the ski area. Cabin was clean, well equipped and well maintained.

We had the most wonderful stay at Larry’s cabin in Smallwood! From the moment we booked, Larry was incredibly kind, helpful, and communicative. His advice on local activities and attractions was spot on and truly made our trip memorable. The cabin itself was cozy, warm, and inviting—exactly what we were hoping for. The fireplace was such a fantastic feature, adding so much charm to the space. It was incredibly easy to use, and Larry thoughtfully supplied plenty of firewood, kindling, and paper, making it hassle-free to enjoy cozy evenings by the fire. We also loved watching the local wildlife around the property! The deer often came up to the cabin, and it was such a treat to see them up close—it added to the peaceful, natural atmosphere of the area. Our dog, Lily, had the time of her life exploring the yard, which was perfect for her! On Larry’s recommendation, we visited the Smallwood dog park, and it was a highlight for Lily. My wife and I enjoyed Johanna’s cozy cabin very much. It was very warm and tidy and it was easy to get around to attractions nearby. We loved hanging out by the fire and watching DVDs and using the well-appointed kitchen. A great stay!

T and his team provided an exceptional experience from start to finish. Their professionalism and attentiveness made our stay truly enjoyable. They went above and beyond to accommodate my family and me, ensuring we felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout our visit. The home was immaculate, the surrounding land was breathtaking, and every detail contributed to a relaxing and memorable stay. This place was really beautiful and exactly what a few close friends and I needed! The hot tub is in a gorgeous setting; views from the house are incredible. Really cozy to hang out by the stove in the living room, and we had fun playing foosball! Local farmers market, Rivers Edge for a delicious dinner, and renting out the old-fashioned bowling alley at Rohman's made it a perfect weekend. Beds and showers were great as well, and I was impressed by the books and collection of psychoanalytic texts (if anyone else is interested in British Objects Relations—maybe that's just me). We did need a car and there isn't an easily available taxi service so be prepared for that, and in the evenings needed to have a designated driver since it didn't feel safe to walk on the road at night.

We had the best time at Amanda s cabin in the woods. So cozy, so comfortable. It was impeccably clean. I wish I could live there. Amanda responded right away, the fact that it is pet friendly is a plus!!! I want to come back as soon as possible. If you want a little getaway, THIS is your spot. My husband, myself and our furry baby had the best cozy time ( FYI: I m all about cozy!) Thank you for everything. For those who are like me, you have found the perfect place! Enjoy 😉
