The place was great and in a great location. We loved everything about the apartment however did have a few issues with some of the "rules". This is the only place I've ever rented that I've been told if anyone else comes into the place other than my wife and myself we would result in "immediate eviction". We were in town for a wedding for my niece and her and her fiance wanted to stop by and visit. I found it asinine that I had to tell her sorry you can't come in or I will be evicted. They have a beautiful private roof top with patio seating for 5, however no one else can visit. We were also going to arrive 30 minutes prior to check in by an Uber and had 2 large suitcases along with 2 other bags and a suit bag and asked if we could check in early and her response was yes but we would have to pay the $50 early check in fee. I would think that we would atleast be able to drop our bags so we wouldn't have to drag them around the streets. Other than that, no issues.

Stayed with my husband, 17 year old l, and 12 year old. The beds were perfect in the spare room and I always travel with an extension cord which helped with electronics and charging in the spare room( not needed there were outlets, but was helpful). Perfect place to unwind after long days of walking and visiting the zoo and DC area. Amy was available when I reached out for local recommendations and expressed that she had extra info in the master bedroom. This location met all my expectations for cooking, relaxing, and safety. Most Airbnb’s look comfortable but don’t accommodate our family for relaxation so I was looking specifically for a sectional to watch movies or tv together and this space provided this and much more; really was comforting and felt home like. We cuddled up, I made some tea, and the view was amazing. Thank you both! We will definitely return next time we visit DC.

I had a wonderful stay for my birthday! The house was exceptionally clean, and the host was very responsive, making the experience even better. The location was perfect, with convenient parking, which was a huge plus. I also appreciated the clear and helpful information provided upfront, making check-in and the overall stay smooth and hassle-free. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again!

A light and spacious room with large bathroom and walk-in closet. The kitchenette alcove is supplied with beverage basics, microwave and small fridge. Positioned at the back of the main house with a deck looking out over leafy trees and the quiet parking area. Supermarket and restaurants close by and easily walkable. Area felt safe. Would definitely stay again.

The condo is in the perfect location. It’s only one block from the Metro, which takes you to Washington. It’s close to a great coffee shop (St. Elmo’s), a few blocks from Trader Joe's, and across the street from two restaurants. It’s half a mile to King Street, and from King Street, you can take the free shuttle or walk to the waterfront. Louis is easy to work with, immediately answers any questions, and checks to ensure you get in OK. It is his apartment, and his dog lives there, but it was meticulous. My only recommendation would be to add a welcome book explaining how to get to the rooftop deck (which is beautiful), the location of the garbage chute (I never found it), and favorite places in Alexandria.

I had a wonderful time staying at Ismael's place. The area was perfect for a trip to DC. The area the unit is in felt very safe. There were so many restaurants with a great variety of options. It's also a very walkable area. Ismael was a great host. The unit was very clean. There were many available amenities. Cooking was a breeze, especially with the grocery store being just downstairs. Ismael provided clear and easy to follow instructions. Checking in and out was a quick and easy process. I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in the area. Highly recommend!

We found this place on a last minute decision stop to Washington DC The location is very calm and decorated with a lot of taste. Every single detail was thought about, from the snacks and water ready for our (really) late arrival, the wall light in the bathroom to find it better at night, the perfect balance in between the choice of colors and materials. Everything is here to make you feel right at home Lena was nothing but kind and helpfull, with an eye for details. All the informations and recommendations were on point The place was spotless and really well organised Thanks again for the perfect stay !

Uche’s penthouse apartment was spectacular! The bedrooms were clean and cozy, the kitchen and living room were spotless and upscale. Large bathrooms with amenities. The patio outside was relaxing and offered sweet views of prime downtown Alexandria. Many shops in walking distance and a gorgeous stained glass church window and antique bell right off the balcony. Loved the little gifts to make it personal and the Nespresso machine! Stayed here while going to a show at MGM Grand Theater, everything was excellent. Worth the value for sure. Stay here, you will love it!

Katherine was a great host. We booked and she made us aware she wasn’t going to be home but still hosted us. The space is a huge basement essentially with one of the biggest bedrooms I’ve ever been in. The shower was also one of the best I’ve ever been in. It had a kitchenette, washer, dryer, and a lot of space in the living room area. Really the entire package and great value. We were driving home from Florida and needed a place to stay the night; glad we found Katherine’s place. Only downside was the New Orleans Saints apparel when I am an Atlanta Falcons fan 😀😂 thank you again Katherine for allowing us to stay. Would highly recommend this place to stay.

Everything was absolutely perfect. Melinda made us feel right at home. Everything was clean and taking care from start to finish. We loved staying in Melinda's home so much we booked it again the following week. If you want the comfort of home and in a perfect location I would definitely recommend this house!!

This is a fantastic Airbnb and Hunter is a great host. Communication and responsiveness were excellent and Hunter was very helpful throughout. The location is beautiful with lots of wildlife and some amazing eagles and hawks to watch and many deer. The house is fantastic and exactly as described and shown in the pictures. Great and well stocked kitchen, a very comfortable great room, and plenty of rooms in each of the bedrooms and very pretty and secluded grounds looking out over Acquia Creek. We rented the home for a graduation ceremony at the Quantico Marine Base which is very close. We had a great time and were very happy with Hunter's place. I would highly recommend this spot to any size group! 5 Stars!

We loved the quiet neighborhood. The house it just a block away from the civil war cemetery park which was a great place to walk. We had everything we needed. I recommend this house and would book again.

We stayed for a graduation ceremony within the Quantico Marine Corps base. The location was perfect for getting on base. We did a day trip to DC which was a little over an hour on a Saturday. Well worth it! Nancy was very responsive & available to us. The cottage was perfect! Exactly as described! We had everything we needed in a quiet & safe setting!

Sarah was so responsive and so helpful. The atmosphere was relaxing and tranquil. Would definitely book again!

Edith’s home was absolutely amazing! It was beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable, and smelled so fresh and inviting from the moment we walked in. Everything was spotless, and the space was just perfect for our needs—spacious yet cozy. The large backyard was a great bonus, and the basement provided even more room to spread out and relax. Plus, the location was super convenient, as it was close to my friend’s house. Edith’s husband was very responsive—when we accidentally got locked out, he was there right away to help. The only thing to note is that there were no towels provided, so be sure to bring your own. The beds are a little hard but I’d sleep in them again any day. Other than that, it was a fantastic stay, and I would definitely book again!

Good apartment. Comfortable, clean. "3 beds" includes a couch. We were 1 adult and 2 teenagers. Teens slept in bedrooms, adult on couch, all good although there were no sheets for "bed 3" (the couch), just a blanket we found in a closet. Neighbors are very active; someone seemed to be moving furniture all day upstairs until about 10pm but then quiet all night. Apartment is well equipped with towels, dishes, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, dishwasher. Super clean. Location was perfect for my family's needs around S. Alexandria/Hybla Valley area. Lots of shops and restaurants in easy driving distance. Great AirBnB experience overall, would love to be able to return. :)

Fantastic stay. Place was immaculate and William has thought of absolutely everything. Plenty of coffee, bottled water, wine, plenty of towels, soap etc. His place is laid out well too. Walking distance to town. Amenities were plenty. We loved this apt and hope to be back. Thank you for making us feel so welcomed William.

Beautiful location, up the hill from the water! Great fishing and easy to get around the local area! House was spotless and smelled clean when we walked in. Bed was comfortable! They've thought of everything! Will visit again!

Emanuela is super responsive and helpful. Great location and fantastic value for a place to stay. It’s perfect for a place to crash while you’re out and about most of the time like I was.

Sam’s place was beautiful! The bunk room was our little guys favorite and thought he was a big boy sleeping in the beds. The condo had everything we needed! Sam was so helpful in providing us with restaurant ideas and best places to boat/wakeboard on the lake! They had a boat slip we could use to dock our boat for the weekend with a short walk back to the condo. We enjoyed our time so much we didn’t want to leave. We hope to be back next summer!

This place is right in downtown, next to many good restaurants and shops. It had everything we needed for a long weekend. The place was clean and the host was very responsive
